Overall, Grillers is a good restaurant located on Chickasaw in a shopping plaza. Since it is in a shopping plaza, parking won't be an issue. The service was friendly and the place had a cool ambiance. The food was good and I would recommend here.

This place was definitely a nice surprise. It's located conveniently off of Chickasaw trail in a shopping plaza. There's ample parking which is always nice. The night we visited, it wasn't crowded so we basically could sit anywhere. The interior is bright and festive. Definitely puts you in the mood for some good food. I started off with a passion fruit mojito. It was almost too pretty to drink. For my entree I ordered the grilled angus churrasco with rice and beans and sweet plantains. Dessert I chose the fried cheesecake. All in all everything was good. The beans were some of the best I've had outside of Puerto Rico. I would probably skip the cheesecake next time as it wasn't anything special. Next visit I'm bringing my son to try. He could eat rice and beans, 7 days a week and I know he would love it here.

My friends and I had our quarterly girls' night out at Grillers Puerto Rico restaurant. We went on a weekday our surprised it was quite busy. This was my first time having Puerto Rican food so I was really cited and looking forward to it. Our server was really helpful and suggested some of her favorite dishes as well as favorite drinks. I ended up picking the grilled chicken breast with a side of sweet plantains and mamposteo rice. The chicken breast was cooked to perfection; it was juicy, tender and full of flavor. The rice was really good and I have to say it was the highlight of the dish. Kudos to our waitress for the suggestions, everything tasted great.

We've been here a few times. I cannot stop ordering the Acevichado Roll for take out. It reminds me of a similar roll from Paper Fish in Miami. I do wish it wasn't $25 for the roll... Anyway, this is a good spot for family dinner, but if it's gets too packed, prepare to wait a while to be seated. Get a drinks the their bar or something. The food is good but i've the pricer side.

Came here to celebrate my mother's birthday as she wanted some Puerto Rican food. We had an app platter so that we could try a few different ones. I ate the mofongo with grilled chicken and I was full. Can't wait to come back

Overall the food was great. The sushi roll was bigger than I thought. The Bacalito was good but the only downside was it was served not hot like it was sitting out. The churrasco was cooked with great flavor and very tasty. Our server was very nice and patient with us as we were a bigger party. With that being said we called to make reservations and they didn't let us so in person only outdoor seating was available. We saw a big section of tables marked reserved in the back and the whole time we dined no one sat in those tables which is why I gave it 4 stars. Although we weren't given the option to sit inside the decor was nice in there and was very boho chic. Thankfully it was nice weather outside and they had heaters on the patio.

Food was great! The sauce for the mofongo was very tasty. The restaurant itself inside is beautiful. I wish they had a drink menu, the server said the drinks really fast.

So we have gone to the Kissimmee location and were excited to try this Orlando location. The ambiance and decor were really nice. The food itself was very flavourful. We had a little bit of everything with our friends. The sampler was really good along with the plantain and sancocho soup. I wish the Mar y Tierra mofongo had a little bit more meat. But the unfortunate part of our experience was the service. The gentlemen who was taking care of us was taking a long time to check in on us in between drinks. Our waters weren't topped off. They brought the sancocho that was meant to be an app together with the regular food. Not saying the rest of the servers were the same as I did see more activity with them. It was unfortunate. We may be coming back again but it's something to work on.

The ambience itself and the restaurant is beautiful. The bacalaito was delicious would definitely order again. The bifongo with shrimp were okay, nothing too special. Unfortunately I think this place is more of a hype.

Service was great. Kaitlyn at the bar was kind, attentive, and made the experience better. The rest of the staff was also friendly and welcoming. I ordered the breaded chicken breast with rice and beans and Tostones. The chicken was very juicy but could've used more seasoning. The tostones weren't as crispy as I like, but not terrible overall. I'd give the food a 7.5 out of 10. The restaurant itself was very clean with a nice, simple aesthetic. Solid spot with good service--just a few tweaks needed on the food.

They are busy on a Sunday afternoon. I was surprised to receive two types of menus as they have an Asian-PuertoRican fusion thing going. Then they have their full PuertoRican fare. Their ambience is lively; they play Latin music in the background. Their space is large and they feature a full bar in the center of their dining room. They have an outdoor terrace with umbrellas for outdoor dining. Their food is served relatively quickly considering how busy they are. Their tables are small and chairs are so uncomfortable. My husband enjoyed his selections which included sorullitos de maíz. They are sweet corn fritters, they were crispy and without cheese- that's a great thing! He said half of the order came out cold, the other half in the right temperature. He also had the grilled chicken and tostones. It was a large portion and very well priced. I ordered from both menus. I tried the empanadillas- they are a great appetizer. There were assorted meats. I was happy with their doneness, and with their texture. I also ordered the cream of plantain soup- I did not photograph it as I was underwhelmed by this recipe; the flavor was bland. The soup came out hot and served with plantain chips. The plantain chips were borderline stale. For the main course I tried two rolls from their Asian fusion menu. The Amarillito- a roll with sweet, ripe plantain and sliced avocado, rolled up with rice, topped with a yum yum style sauce= mayoketchup. The Amarillito was on point! Great for vegans! The Chanchito roll had krab, steak, nori, rolled in rice and lots of rice, (too much rice to undermine the rest of the ingredients) as well as a layer of plantain mash topped with chimichurri. I thought this would be the biggest surprise of the afternoon and I was let down. I didn't love it! The white rice was bland, the plantain mash was good; it had the opportunity to shine here maybe a garlic cream sauce or crispy chicharrón? The steak was very chewy and the krab was very good but almost non-existent. Both rolls were conceptually great and I was expecting to be blown away, they were priced very well, but there were quite a few misses in the flavors and consistency. The service is fantastic, our server noticed right away we needed an English version of the menu. She was friendly, helpful and professional. I would like to try more. I'll give it another try- till next time, Grillers.

$6 is a lot for a few mediocre tostones that aren't even cooked to order.

When you walk up to the truck you are greeted by the friendly workers who advise you to place your order on the screen and if you need assistance they are more than happy to help. Once your order is placed they will send you a text message when it's ready. They do have a little canopy area with tables and seating, but it's so hot to be outside I opted to wait and eat in my car. We waited about 30 minutes before receiving our food and once we received it you could tell everything was freshly made. We ordered a combo that came with 2 pinchos, 2 pieces of bread, 2 orders of loaded fries,2 mofongo balls. And 2 drinks. The pincho meat is big meaty chunks and well seasoned. These were some of the biggest pinchos I've found in Orlando and the price was really reasonable. The loaded fries were ok, just typical fries with bacon and cheese. These mofongo balls had good seasoning, they weren't dry at all, and the perfect portion. The garlic bread was good as well and was soft. Overall everything was great! The seasoning on all the food was perfect, the portions were more than enough, and the prices extremely reasonable. The only negative I have to say is that it took long for us to receive the food but everything was freshly made and I appreciate all the hard work they do during the extremely hot fl summer.

The fried chicken wasn't bad, it had flavor and the tostones were nice and crispy. We didn't care for the rest though. The arroz con gandules was the driest I have ever had! The carne frita/maditas de cerdo had NO seasoning. I was so shocked! They tasted like unseasoned pork and oil! I was so disappointed because I wanted those so bad. The alcapurria de carne was ok, but nothing I would crave or come back for. There was no ac and it was like 90 degrees outside. If I lived local I would've taken the food to go but unfortunately, I had to sit there and suffer to eat one of the sorriest excuses for puerto rican food I've had so far. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately for us it was a big miss. The ladies working there didn't look happy to be there but neither would I if I had to work in those conditions! The lady at the register was patient with me as I stumbled through my broken Spanish. She didn't suggest switching to English, so I must have been speaking reasonably well. So I ordered the carne frita (fried pork) with a side of tostones. When I go to any Latin restaurant, I have to try the tostones. Ever since Rice & Beans closed I've been on the quest for some good tostones. Piñones' tostones (no rhyme intended) were decent, but not quite what I hoped for. The star of the meal was the carne frita. It was hot, juicy and flavorful. I'll likely try it again in a mofongo.
