First time here & it was pretty good. The specialty drink was delicious & not overly sweet, the chocolate muffin was moist and the bagel was ok (the sausage wasn't flavorful enough for me). The staff was sweet and very helpful with navigating me through what they had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The area was clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and they had a lot of great merch. I'll definitely go back.

THE BEST BEIGNETS!!! I've had cafe du monde several times and it has changed in the years. PJ's coffee and beignets are amazing! They have a drive thru, so drive beignets!!! I even had one the next day and it was still soft. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute spot and like 10 Tesla charging stations![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm going to try their sandwiches next!

Service is absolutely great, they gave us a sample because I guess it was taking a little bit too long! The velvet ice was basically ice cream which was also great, ambiance was wonderful although I wish it wasn't at a awkward location.

This location is new and clean looking, but coffee is just average and overpriced. Given so many other coffee places available I don't think i would revisit because nothing stood out in particular.

    This explained a lot.

I really want to like PJs. I was turned off because of difficult placing my order in the drive thru. When I pulled up to pay, there is a sign posted that essentially says "training in progress". I don't know if this sign will always be there but it explained a lot. I'll try it again because I'm a sucker for drive thru coffee. I'll keep my fingers crossed for better experiences.

I almost missed out on a great frap and beignets. I wanted to try a new spot, so I researched Yelp and narrowed down my list and found PJ's Coffee. Before walking inside, I checked out their menu online and read the reviews. After entering PJ's, I looked at the menu and asked a few questions and suggestions. John said "The Wedding Cake" is their most popular drink. I decided to get it as a Frappuccino with whipped cream. I didn't have breakfast so I ordered beignets with caramel sauce. The other options for sauce are honey and chocolate. They also sell mini beignets. I thought I could purchase a single beignet but the order comes with three. Everything is made fresh so make sure you have about five minutes to spare. If you don't feel like getting out of your car, they have a drive thru. I patiently waited for my order and left. When I got back inside my car, I took a quick look at the beignets and took a bite. They are delicious. I expected them to be greasy, but they weren't. They are fluffy and delicious. I ate all three on my way to my appointment. Don't judge me. LOL The Frappuccino tastes just like a slice of wedding cake. I enjoyed it. Sugar free syrup options are available for your coffee too. Their customer service, beignets and coffee are amazing so I will be back again soon to try their breakfast sandwiches and hot coffee options.

Given this place 3 shots already and I'm done. This morning, I ordered a medium iced latte with honey. They said medium has 1.5 shots of espresso, I asked for 2 shots total, so an extra .5 shot. I got regular milk and my total was $8.06. Actually insane. I wouldn't be as upset if this drink was delicious but it's just not. It's very average. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the owner is very nice and in the past has given me extra beignets when I ordered them, and they are very good. Come here for the beignets but don't come here for the coffee.

We settled on beignets and I had the iced butter rum coffee (not sure if it's seasonal only) and hubby had the mocha velvet ice.

This busy coffee show has quality coffee including super strong (grow hair on your chest) Turkish coffee. Oh, their latte's a pretty good too. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Coffee, Return) Atmosphere - Walking in, it's hard not to notice the array of golden Hershy Kiss shaped lights that highlight the area where the baristas work. The espresso machine is magnificent, and this area is stunning. But the seating isn't as inviting or comfortable, and on each visit P&B was packed with people. Like a museum, it's stunning to look at, full of people, yet can make you feel uncomfortable. 1/2 Star. Service - The staff is great. Super friendly and efficient. And by chance if you get them on a slower day, ask them about that epic espresso machine. Standard counter service here. You order, then move out of the way to the pickup area. No issues here. 1 Star. Coffee - P&B is known for their Turkish coffee. I've only ordered it once (to take photos), because honestly the coffee is super strong. It is served the traditional way, on a plate with the coffee, more coffee, and a glass of water. It's a little too strong for my tastes, but luckily P&B also can craft traditional coffee drinks iced or hot. I'm an Iced Latte guy and P&B makes an excellent one. 1 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. While a lot more crowded with less comfortable seating than your favorite Seattle based coffee chain, P&B is unique, in a beautiful area, is great for your Instagram feed, and is independent. I'll be back to support small businesses! 1 Star.

Despite the crowd, the atmosphere felt lively and welcoming. I ordered a savory pastry topped with sesame seeds. The pastry was wonderfully flaky, with a light, crisp exterior that gave way to soft layers inside. It had a nice crunch from the sesame seeds and paired really well with the warm Zahr latte I ordered. The latte, which includes orange blossom, cardamom, and honey, had a subtle floral sweetness and a comforting spice that made it especially enjoyable. They also offer a wide variety of signature drinks, which makes the menu fun to explore. I found a cozy spot to sit in the back of the café, which felt a bit more relaxed than the front area. It was a nice place to sit and enjoy my coffee for a while, and overall it ended up being a very pleasant experience.

It's a beautiful spot with coffee to match. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Coffee, Return) Atmosphere - Walk inside and you'll be treated to a beautiful, cozy coffee shop. The bright white walls are accented by blue comfortable chairs and gold lettering. There are locally sourced pastries behind glass, and Middle Eastern themed lighting hanging from above. 1 Star. Service - Port Coffee continues the trend of ordering through a kiosk when they are busy. On both visits, I wanted to order from a human so I could learn more about their concept, but on both visits, I was directed to a kiosk. Also, I ordered "for here" so I could get pretty latte art, but they made my cappuccino "To go" and I had no art. No Stars. Coffee - Given the lack of service, I came back two days in a row. Why? Because the coffee is pretty darn good. They serve your standard espressos and lattes, but I tried their Iced Mufuwar. This delicious drink was dark roast mixed with milk, cardamine, and some sweetness. That combination made me a believer. The cardamine added a light, fragrant flavor (hints of ginger) with just enough sweetness (you can choose your level). It was smooth, refreshing, and a perfect pit stop during my morning walk. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. The coffee was so good I came two days in a row. The (lack of) service did not prevent me from trying their delicious coffee. I'll be back to try a pastry. 1 Star.

This review focuses on the Las Colinas location. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Yolk - Las Colinas is located in a new area in Irving-Las Colinas with plenty of parking. Inside it's open with plenty of seating (some outdoors too), has Yolk's bright blue and yellow colors, but my favorite features are the big windows which let in the the sun's natural light. 1 Star. Service - Our server was great. She was very attentive and made sure we always had our mugs filled with coffee. I appreciated the friendly service that was all smiles. 1 Star. Food - Yolk's menu has classic breakfast and brunch options but be sure you check to table for coffee specials. I ordered an Iced Apple Pie Latte that was served in a glass mason jar. This small detail allowed the Apple flavor to start my breakfast on a high note. Speaking of which, my Breakfast Mac & Cheese caught my attention when it was served in a skillet. I intended to only eat half, but the smokey ham paired with the creamy mac & cheese under a light panko layer was too delicious for me to stop. The prices are a bit on the high side, but otherwise a geat meal. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. DFW is getting many great breakfast/brunch spots like Yolk. If you're a big fan of breakfast (and travelling on expense), it's a great way to start your day. 1 Star.
