    Phat Sandwich
    Ron S.

In town for 2 nights for a conference and tried the Phat sandwich. Buffalo chicken/ mozzarella sticks/ fries / queso / chili - Huge - dam good. 2nd night - gyro sandwiches in a wrap - very good !! Don't pass this place sober or drunk

Ordered delivery. Food was ok. Ordered burger with mushrooms, onions, and swiss cheese w/ fries, appetizers that included nachos, corn nuggets, and mac n cheese wedges. Pleasantly surprised by the portion size as it was bigger than expected (especially the nachos)!

My own order (Fat Juggernaut with added Mac and cheese wedges, corn nuggets, jalapeño poppers, and mozzarella sticks).

If you are completely sober and are dying for some raunchy food, I HIGHLY recommend visiting PJs. If you're drunk as all get out in Columbus during the weekend, I HIGHLY recommend getting PJs. If you're an hour away from Columbus, like my friend group and I were, I still HIGHLY recommend this place. The food was fantastic, hospitality was great, atmosphere was excellent, and it was a great night of mogging out with some friends, thanks to PJs grill.

We love this place! They always give us our food fairly quickly, and the few times it was not, it was a complication with our drink. It is usually done before the time they say. The food however is amazing! We usually get the chicken cheesesteak and it is honestly our favorite sandwich. It is pricey if you want to come here a couple times a month, but very delicious

Every single thing in my order was soggy and greasy except for the pierogis which were rock hard. Low quality food that I won't be returning for more of.

Fat Bitch with a beer to wash 'er down.

Ok. So let's be honest. McDonald's is far classier than this place. PJ's Grill is in a class of its own. It's the kind of place where you go when you are completely obliterated and need that relatively quick hunger fix. And hey, why not pick up another twelve pack while you're there? Sure there's better food out there, but who wants to make any kind of decisions after a long night of drinking? These guys have the perfect solution. Let's cram it all on one big ol' sandwich (or wrap, but don't think that's even putting a dent in the calories) and serve it to the drunk masses. Personally, I think PJ's is the bomb. It's definitely a guilty pleasure that should be enjoyed in extreme moderation. Their fat sandwiches are packed full of goodies and are fairly cheap. My personal favorite? The fat bitch. It's packed with buffalo chicken strips, mac'n'cheese bites, beer fries, cheese sticks, and smothered with ranch dressing. If eaten drunk, you won't even notice the toll taken on your body. It'll just be a part of the hangover. But be warned. If eaten sober, be prepared for a nuclear explosion in your stomach followed by a morning of "nuclear fallout". I would suggest trying this beautiful Frankenstein of a sandwich. But please, do so at the end of a long night at Out 'R Inn.

    "Home of the Drunks"

Sign on the outside window and one inside both claim PJ's is "Home of the Drunks", and I can't disagree one bit. I actually came here sober today though, and all in all it wasn't too bad (although it WOULD be amazing when drunk). I ordered the "fat cheese" which had chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, ravioli, marinara, and shredded cheese. I was kinda skeptical at paying $8 for a sandwich that probably wouldn't be of that high quality, but it was huge! They are fat sandwiches in size and ingredients. Honestly, it tasted pretty good too. I mean if you just through a bunch of average food in the deep fryer and cover it with marinara and a ton of cheese you can't really screw it up too badly. Everything was hot, and they didn't skip on any of the items, so I was happy. On the downside, the cashier wasn't all that kind..I would imagine dealing with 95% drunk people in person and on the phone could do that to you though. The worst part was the wait.. my sandwich took over 20 minutes to come out from when I order. If I was drunk I definitely would not have wanted to wait that long for my hunger to be subdued! Sober rating: 3/5, decent super greasy food for the price; mediocre service; too slow Drunk rating: solid 5/5, come here now and bask in the greasiness

PJ's is basically another sloppy sandwich place on campus that stays open and delivers to god early hours of the morning. The food is probably not worthy of the 3 stars rating, but I have to give the extra star for the originality of the menu. They are one of the first in the campus area to take anything you can think of and pile it on a bun with four other ingredients that should never be put together in sandwich form. They call them the Fat Sandwichs, and rightfully so. Cheese steak, eggs and onion rings - Fat Beast. Buffalo tenders, french fries, bacon, mozzarella sticks and ranch - fat Carnie. Nothing in the kitchen is off limits, either. J. poppers, potato skins, mini corn dogs, macaroni.... in various combos. I have actually tried many of these, and usually regret it but love it at the same time. The delivery service has always been fast and friendly. I have noticed many other late night sandwich delivery places have added similar "everything but the kitchen sink" subs, so apparently PJ's helped start a late sandwich niche trend.

Within 20 minutes we received our text and were seated. The ambiance was fun and relaxing to the seating to the music, all a good vibe. Our waiter, Preston, was amazing. From start to finish he brought the energy and recommended a few things! White Sangria was amazing. Make sure to get the biscuits and you'll need more because they are . We shared the street corn nachos and you'll have to try the freshest jalapeños on them, by far the best nachos ever! I kept with the theme and did the Al pastor tacos but with grilled chicken plus queso and chips on the side! Stuffed and amazed at how quick yet fresh and delicious everything was. Every single person kept saying how great their meal was. Danielle, the manager even stopped by to make sure everyone was taken care of! After an amazing meal like that we had to try the desserts, the butter cake and banana were both great but definitely think if you only get one, the butter cake is where it's at. The ambiance was definitely vibey and perfect for socializing, with a lively atmosphere that fit our group of 13 well. Unfortunately, everything after the hostess stand went downhill on the service side. Our server felt disengaged from the start and rarely checked on us. It was hard to tell if we'd said something wrong or if he was just having an off night, but even after asking other staff members to send him over, he never came back to check on our table. With automatic gratuity already added for a large party, it was disappointing to experience such minimal attention and care. What I had: * Mediterranean Salmon (shared): The portion split felt more like 75/25 than an even share, which was a little odd for something asked to be split. The salmon itself was decent, but the hummus quickly overpowered the dish if you mixed everything together. * Teriyaki Ribeye: I requested medium rare and received a steak well past well-done, dry enough that it was basically inedible. It almost tasted like it had been reheated rather than freshly cooked. Since our server never checked in, I had to flag someone else down to get it replaced, and the remake took about 15 minutes to arrive--even though the cut was thin and already marinated. * Old Fashioned: The cocktail came out quite watered down, with very little depth of flavor. I would've asked for it to be remade, but again, our server was nowhere to be found. The bar program also felt surprisingly limited for a place that leans into a social, cocktail-forward vibe, which added to the letdown. Between the uneven service, lack of follow-through, and several misses on the food and drinks, it's hard to say I'd rush back--especially when there are so many other strong options in Columbus.

I got the Korean BBQ smash burger topped with Korean BBQ aioli, Cleveland Kraut Kimchi, gochugaru (korean chili flake) and scallion. I don't understand the smash burger craze since I like my burgers medium rare, but if I have to eat a smash burger to enjoy these toppings, I'm in! The heat, texture and combination of flavors were epic. The fries are well done too! They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and this was even after 30 minutes. Nothing fancy but done amazingly well and very quickly. My burger was out in a few minutes. I will say that the pizzas I saw coming out of the kitchen will have me coming back to try one of them. This one didn't offer one, which was a general disappointment (and offering to be might benefit them-- the place was dead for most of the two hours we were there). The space is beautiful and luxurious: a lovely fountain is in the center and signature chandeliers fill the dining area. I was a little disappointed that the choices of seating were were given -- though the place was empty-- was either a very small table (so small our servers apologized for having to awkwardly stack things as dishes came out) or a table attached to the only other large party dining there. Felt like a very strange choice. Also, while the place is very upscale and very expensive, that vibe was somewhat at odds with other diners who did arrive in what literally looked like old pajama pants and workout gear. The food was all good, but portions are very small for the big prices: entrees are all in the $50 range, sandwiches in the $30 range. A "petite" baked potato (which is petite indeed) was $14; burrata was $26. It was fine, but you can have a true consistently upscale experience elsewhere for those kinds of prices. I'd come back -- if there was a happy hour!
