Great staff, cute diner, and good food! We tried the Westerville Grill on Christmas Eve and enjoyed their award-winning diner decor, friendly waiters, and breakfast food. We got the Westerville omelet with an extra blueberry pancake, the traditional eggs benedict, and the chorizo and hash. I really enjoyed the flavor of the eggs benedict and would highly recommend it. All the food was freshly prepared and didn't taste heavy (overly fatty). Everyone enjoyed their food, but I would recommend their pancakes and the eggs benedict the most.

Yummmm, what a treat! We had brunch here today and the food was well seasoned and delicious! We arrived just an hour before closing and the place was bustling, the service was super quick and friendly. We definitely can't wait to come back again! Everything we ordered we recommend.

Such a cute spot! It felt like the perfect family owned small town diner. It reminds me of breakfast spots in the UP of Michigan. I had the spicy breakfast burrito and love it. The portion was large and had tons of egg. It was spicy too! The potato's were different than most breakfast places, but I enjoyed the seasoning they used. The service was super friendly. I want to come back and try their lunch!

I needed protein before a tattoo appointment, and this place delivered! I prefer my home fries crispier, but otherwise this was excellent food, from the perfectly cooked steak to the scrambled eggs. Plus, service was super friendly and attentive, and while the patio faces the parking lot, it's downtown Westerville, so there's still plenty of trees and people watching.

The restaurant was very cute, themed in an old diner looked. The waitress was attentive and very prompt. I ordered a patty melt on white bread. It was delicious, the burger was cooked well, but not dry with the dressing. The fries were fresh hand cut. I did order a slice of buckeye pie from Just Pies. This was the show stopper!!! The pie was absolutely amazing!!! We can't wait to go back for dessert

The food at this place is excellent. The staff is always cheerful and upbeat. The service staff covers each other so that you feel that you are being waited on by all of them. The diner feel of this place is great and it feels like a staple of the community. Would definitely recommend worth a stop if nearby wanting breakfast.

What a great little throwback diner. The breakfast here is really good and the service is quick and friendly. I love the old pictures on the walls and great selection of old songs on the radio they play. The front also has a giant glass wall that helps make it more fun looking outside at all the hustle and bustle on Route 3. Overall, this is a really good little restaurant.

I stopped by the Westerville Grill, a charming diner on the main drag in Westerville. They offer all-day breakfast as well as lunch fare later in the day. The place looks small, but there's a good amount of seating inside and on an enclosed patio. I tried the chorizo hash. It came with 3 eggs and toast for about $12 - not a bad value these days. The potatoes and eggs were cooked nicely, though the chorizo tasted just like regular sausage, not that there's anything wrong with that. Service was fast and friendly.

As someone that has grown up in Westerville and been to the Westerville Grill 4-5 times there are some pros and cons to it. I will start with the good. The patio is adorable and a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and in the summer it's very lovely. The service is also wonderful as well. It's very affordable and has some menu choices that are on the healthier side. My sister in law had the pesto chicken sandwich and said it was really good! Having said that, my food has always been edible, but never really good. It's almost perplexing. Today I had pancakes with chocolate chips and with a lot of butter and syrup they weren't bad, but they literally had three cups of syrup, butter, and chocolate chips, and still tasted slightly idk musty? But they were definitely an improvement over the plain ones I've had in the past. The service and patio really is nice so next time hopefully I will have better luck with the chicken pesto sandwich too!

Quintessential American diner in uptown Westerville serving up unpretentious food with a smile. It's a small space but the turn things over quickly so don't let the space or a slight wait put you off. Inside is a cozy and lovely spot filled with cool vintage ads and a mix of the neighborhood. We've been many times for breakfast but sadly often overlook it for dinner or lunch but it's on our list now.

Meatloaf sandwich, smashed potatoes/gravy - no good, I can't recommend it.

The guacamole tasted really fresh, and I loved that they put it right on top of the corn instead of mixing everything together. The tortilla chips were fresh and crispy too. The Mac & Cheese was good, but it wasn't your typical cheddar mac and cheese. It had more of a creamy white-cheese flavor with penne and breadcrumbs, so just know it's a different take if you're expecting traditional mac. Overall, it was a nice little Saturday stop while we were out running errands. Good service from Vince, hot food, and a relaxed atmosphere. I'd definitely stop in again to try some other appetizers.

I prefer the meat as you can get it at any temperature whereas with seafood I don't think you can control how they cook that. I prefer meats to be medium well. Whom placed me at a very nice table. I looked over the menu, which had a little something for everybody. To be honest I liked that, plus there wasnt an over abundance of items... it was that goldilocks moment... just right. I decided to try the grape leaves. I asked if they had made them themselves and they did -which is what pushed me in the direction. You get two very stuffed grape leaves --that are definitely made in house. I was not really a fan of the lemon sauce that they use. I didnt dislike it, I felt it was a tad too thick and not enough lemon. However, I seemed to eat all of it, which is something I dont do at most places, so despite it needing more lemon I must of liked it more than I initially realized. As far as ambience, it still has the footprint of the former sushi restaurant. the bar is completely unchanged. however, they have these lovely little lilac flowers or Japanese cherry flowers hanging from trellises throughout the entire back dining room. makes it look lovely. This transforms it into its own identity. i liked it. They had soft music playing. I wasn't sure if it was Mediterranean or Spanish, but I enjoyed it. I liked my time there The one thing that needs mentioned is the pricing of the salad proteins. This is confusing. I was going to order a salad but the menu had it listed the price of a salad. Them below protiens. The price listed on menu is not in addition to salad. Its the final price of the salad. I did not realize that and thus didnt order the salad. I also didn't like being quoted 10.80 for my total and then having it changed because I used American Express to 11 something. Personally, I feel businesses should make it a little easier for their customer in the cost of doing business should be at the restaurants expense in that situation. I probably would've tipped more had they not popped up my price Tbo Would I come back? absolutely. However, I will bring cash the next time so my bill doesnt go up. Lol.

We ordered four stacked burgers and one bacon-mushroom burger, onion rings, fries and all four dipping sauces, paid at the counter and sat down to wait for our food. We waited less than 10 minutes for Jordan to tell us our food was ready and dived in to enjoy a nice late lunch. One person thought the BBQ sauce was the best, three people thought the honey mustard was the best and one person thought the ranch was the best.
