This is a nice bar, it has an upscale vibe but with a dive bar esthetic, which seems contradictory. The bar itself has lots of screens tuned to a variety of sports, there is an area with video games, and its dark like a dive bar tends to be, however everything is clean, the staff is friendly and very responsive. We gave Parkway Tavern in Green Valley District a try, but it just wasn't for us. I think they got lucky with a GV District location. For a place that calls itself a tavern, the alcohol selection was surprisingly limited. The food was pretty much what you'd expect from typical bar food--nothing memorable and not something we'd come back for. The service was friendly, so no complaints there. If you're going to watch a game, though, be aware that some of the TV placement is awkward depending on where you're seated, which kind of defeats the purpose of a sports bar. With so many great restaurants and sports bars nearby, there are simply too many better options for us. We won't be returning. read more

When we arrived, we got ourselves seated and there was no waiter. Even the bartender came over to say he didn't know where the waiter went. He did take our drink order. When our drinks came out, everyone's was there except for mine. My drink was just ok- nothing special. The pool table doesn't take quarters. Also, the tv screens were glitching so much it was distracting. The cauliflower crust on the pizza was not consistently cooked where some of it was soggy and some was almost burnt. We walked in and stood on one side of the bar, got ignored, walked around to the other end of the bar, bartender had to ask what we were drinking. No "hi how are you doing?" My friends and I Have given parkway tavern @ the district multiple chances, but after the last six months, we're honestly so disappointed with how much the overall experience has declined. Tonight may have been the final straw. I ordered steak nachos and received nachos covered in ground beef. If I order--and pay for--steak nachos, I expect steak. Ground beef is not an acceptable substitute, especially without saying anything to the customer. Unfortunately, this isn't an isolated experience. The food quality seems to have steadily declined, and the gaming perks that used to make this one of our favorite little spots have noticeably disappeared. We've even come in for several VGK games and ended up leaving because nearly all of the TVs were having reception issues. After four disappointing visits in a row, it really feels like corners are being cut everywhere. We used to genuinely enjoy coming here for food (especially the pretzel and beer cheese that we have been coming here for the last seven years) drinks, gaming, and VGK games, but it's becoming harder to justify spending our money here. The bar itself was pretty good size giving it an open and spacious feel. .The bartender certainly had a friendly and approachable attitude, and the ambiance was both welcoming and modern. I didn't eat here so just a few cocktails on this visit, but being able to "people watch" those walking through the district was enjoyable as well. UPDATE 8/10/25: Returned to PKWY Tavern at The District to celebrate my boot camp trainer's 21st birthday on a Saturday night. Seeing that they have a decent beer list and they're so close to home, having his party here was perfect! Last time we were here, their beer list was humongous, but they cut it down a bit to just a handful. It's not a 21st birthday party without a steady flow of alcoholic drinks, so I got myself a Golden Road Mango Cart fruit beer and Kyle got himself a Guinness stout. I had the Mango Cart when I visited Golden Road's brewery in Anaheim a couple of months ago and I really enjoyed it, so I was happy that PKWY Tavern had this available on their menu. We kept our tab open if we decided that we wanted more drinks during the party. For food, I got myself a fish taco platter (3) and Kyle got himself a Cuban sandwich with fries. Just a few small bites to keep ourselves full while we drink, not to mention that desserts and sweets were also involved. The fish tacos were excellent and savory and Kyle enjoyed his Cuban sandwich. We credit both dishes for slowing our alcoholic buzz down. We all had a great time here with my boot camp fam and PKWY Tavern is a great place for any occasion, such as a huge party like this one. read more

It's been way too long since I last reviewed this spot, especially since my friends and I frequent it. The last time I went was for Presidents Day and we had a great time. The weather was perfect. We sat out on the patio and played card games and drank beer. It was such a blast. Our server was outstanding and did such a great job taking care of us. I ordered a Cali Creamin, my faveeee beer. I love the glasses they serve it in, too. SO cute! I also ordered the wings and got them plain with a side of ranch. Their wings are actually pretty decent here. Filled me up and came with a side of fries. To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of their food lately, but these hit the spot. Definitely a fun bar to come watch a game at, too. Stopped by PWKY Tavern District with a friend to catch a basketball game, and overall, the place has a great setup for sports with tons of TVs and all the games on. The atmosphere is nice and definitely has potential for a fun night out. We originally wanted to try their Peach Paloma, but they didn't have the vodka listed in the description. Thankfully, they were able to substitute with a regular vodka at our request, and my friend still enjoyed it even if it didn't have the full flavor profile as advertised. I ordered a Moscow Mule and the buffalo chicken egg rolls, which were just okay and a decent light bite, but nothing to rave about. The downside was the service, which felt noticeably slow. It was difficult to get the server's attention even though we were sitting at the bar and she was actively helping everyone around us. No one checked in to see if we wanted a second round of drinks, and when we asked to have the game put back on after it was changed, it took about 15 minutes to get it fixed. When we were clearly ready to close out, she continued checking in on everyone else except us. Not sure if it was just an off night or if we were unintentionally overlooked, but it definitely affected the experience. The place itself is nice, and I'd be open to giving it another shot and hopefully with better service next time. read more

Came here for St. Patrick's day around 6pm and it was pretty packed. We got seating outside and they turned on the heater so it was still nice and cozy. Our waitress was very attentive and the drinks were great! We got the corned beef hash egg rolls, steak nachos, green beers, and pickle back shots. The corned beef hash egg rolls were only around for St. Patrick's Day and we were so happy we ordered them because they were so good. The nachos could have been assembled better since all of the toppings were placed in the center only, but they were still tasty. Up until now I've enjoyed my visits to PKWY Tavern, but something about this past weekend was not it! I don't know if it was an off night for the crew but this was not a great experience for both my friend and I. This visit was simply a hangout, grab a drink, and watch the lakers game. My friend arrived before I did to get us seats at the bar which was not completely occupied or very busy, but steady. I then proceeded to order my drink with the bartender (Jenna). All was fine until she disappeared. I ordered the Peach Paloma which is normally served with New Amsterdam Peach but I asked to use Tito's instead as the New Amsterdam was out and I'm not a fan anyways. My drink took longer than expected without reason. The bartender serviced customers immediately who walked in after my arrival and placing of order. When trying to get her attention she tried to look busy and just a total disregard to my friend and I. Additionally, I found it interesting as that was the only item I ordered the entire night and even if I wanted another drink she was not attentive enough to notice. I also did not like that my drink did not come with the orange slice and tajin rim as listed on the menu. What took me by surprise was the lakers game only showing on the tv above our seats. All other tv's were occupied with hockey or another sport. The lakers game was on from the time I walked in and magically got shut off during the end of 3rd quarter. When attempting to ask to turn it back on as the game was not complete, again Jenna was nowhere to be found so a male bartender provided assistance. Even after asking and then reminding the male bartender to revisit the game on the tv... again took longer than expected and eventually never came back on. I don't know what the disconnect was this night but I'm not eager to return to this location. The vibe was just unpleasant so we just left. Again the bar and entire establishment was not that busy to where my friend and I should be ignored. I'm disappointed in the behavior and lack of customer service from the assigned bartender Jenna. I enjoy sitting at the bar in most places because bartenders are usually the life of the party with their upbeat personalities & great drinks, but this wasn't the case. I was part of a larger party and our waitress was so attentive ensuring that we all had what we needed whenever she came by our table. She even split our checks for us, which was so helpful. This pkwy has a hometown vibe while being inside an outdoor mall. Parking is abundant and free. For happy hour, apps are half price and beer and cocktails are $2 off, which is great. They also offer a teacher discount. These are also probably the fanciest mozz sticks that I've ever seen especially for the price. I also got the Mexican Candy cocktail which had the right level of spice, tang and bite for a good cocktail. Happy Hour at PKWY is definitely worth it! After being outside for an hour near the District, we were looking for somewhere to eat. We remembered how much we enjoyed PKWY so chose there. We went at 5pm on Thursday and were shocked it wasn't too busy. (It definitely got busier by halftime of Thursday Night Football) Our waitress was awesome and helped us (and didn't judge) with all of the food. During happy hour it's 50% off appetizers and pizzas. So the two of us ordered a pepperoni pizza, corn dogs, pretzel and beer cheese, the breakfast platter and mozzarella sticks! All of our food was delicious both for dinner and lunch the next day! Our waitress Hala/Hana (sorry) brought us boxes, kept our waters filled and checked on us even though it started to get busy. PKWY Tavern in the District at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson offers a nice ambiance with a cozy outdoor seating area featuring two fire pits beside one another and several other outdoor seating options-perfect for relaxing. There are also TVs outside for all of my sports fanatics. The only thing I wish they had were the s'mores that they advertised on the TV monitor inside. Unfortunately, they were out of s'mores bc they said the marshmallows had hardened. Maybe next time! The food was delicious. I had chicken tacos and I, being the food critic that I am, was pleasantly surprised at how good these tacos were. The indoor space is also lively, with games to enjoy, and the bar provides a great selection and the bottles are presented nicely. We got a bit cold and went inside. It was not overly crowded, making for a comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere. The views of the Green Valley Ranch district are a nice touch. After having a bad experience at a nearby sports bar across the street, we decided to walk over to Parkway at The District. The Golden Knights were playing, so the atmosphere was electric and exciting. We were seated right away and had beers in our hands within minutes. Our server, Kelsey, was fantastic and very accommodating. We ordered from the wrong menu and she was quick to honor our order without hesitation. She also made some great suggestions and was quick to get our food started. We ordered the chicken wings, roast beef sliders, and two beers. Everything was delicious. The wings appear to be broiled, not deep fried, which I kinda prefer. Less greasy and the flavor was the same. The wings came with thin crispy fries, celery and carrots. The roast beef sliders are a must. They had great flavor and the au jus was delicious. The dressing and pickles combined also added an extra layer of flavor. I recommend them as an appetizer. Big shock! I have been to different PKWY Taverns, but this location really surprised me with many disappointments. We wanted to watch UFC fight and enjoy some good food as always. Did our reservation online, we called and made sure they will stream the fight... Unfortunately, we arrived and were told they were not streaming.. The service was not good, really was not.. the first thing when we ordered and tried to clarify the information about streaming, we were treated as we were not welcomed and if we want we can come back next week for the 300.. The food did not taste or looked as it supposed to be, my burger came in a very messy shape, most of the ingredients were off from the buns mixed with my fries... The Nachos were good, but the vegetables are only at the top so the bottom parts are only chips and cheese sauce (that was only at the bottom) and tasted absolutely different (not good).. One thing that I never mention in my reviews are bathrooms, but this one I have to.... All I wanted was washing hands... No paper towels, no water to wash hands, the sink is broken and moving, the floor was all wet .... If there was a work, they could've put a sign and let women use another sink.. A group of 8 of us met here for a team meeting and since we were over 6 they split us up into two tables (still close enough to converse). Thank you again for accommodating our larger group. Our server was nice and kept our beverages full :-). After eating at a restaurant and attempting to go to a lounge that decided to close early on a Friday night, my date recommended that we go there. PKWY Tavern District has multiple screens and a nice layout. The night we went, the crowds were sparse, which I liked because it made the vibe more intimate. PKWY Tavern District is a lovely sports bar in a beautiful area that reminded me of downtown Summerlin. The location can be hard to find as I walked past it and took the scenic route. The entrance is in the middle of the complex, and if you haven't been there, it is easy to walk by. I would return! read more
