As a Henderson local I've been wanting to try this place for along time. We were under the impression that it was by reservation only so we made one. Although when we arrived it wasn't too busy and I think they were accepting walk-ins. May have been because it was Thursday. The vibe inside is super dope with a lot of vibrant colors and cool decor. The bathrooms were literally like a club lol. My whole party enjoyed their food and we had a variety of dishes from fish, burritos, tacos, and kids meals. Will definitely be coming back to try more

Tried this place out yesterday and I was amazed!! It reminded me of my childhood with Walter Mercado, such a beautiful restaurant, the food was incredibly delicious, the vibe, ambiance was sooo chill, my son could not stop dancing, specially to the restroom music. the drinks were amazing, strong how I like them and service was great. I would definitely be bringing my family here next time.

Stopped in for some drinks and based on the smells I wish I came for the food. Sat at the bar had a few tequila shots and a peach margarita. Bartender was cool and welcoming. Love the dia de los muertos decor and low riders. Overall the place is a vibe.

Met some friends from out of town here for lunch (on a Thursday) and we had a wonderful time. It was a lovely 70 degree day so we sat on the patio, Brenna was our server. She was welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, management, and wild decor. Turns out, Cantina's linked to Golden Tiki (one of my favorite local bars), makes total sense, especially once you see the bathrooms haha! This place is a maximalist's paradise. No surface has been left untouched, from the floral ceilings to the sexy restrooms, the groovy atmosphere is unique and playful. You can't help but smile when you enter. We had questions and Brenna had answers, and excellent suggestions! With so many options it's great to have someone who knows the menu. We each tried various margaritas, my favorite was the guava - may be the best in Vegas... We also shared the queso dip which was so yummy, hard to stop eating - chips and salsa are good on their own, but try the cheese. The main dishes were huge, large enough to share, if you're so inclined. The chili relleno was crispy and full of cheese, and the enchiladas looked amazing although I didn't try them, I will next time. Beans and rice were well seasoned and complimentary to the meal although both seemed a little dry, most people wouldn't notice. Overall, our visit was fantastic and I'll definitely be back!

This place is all about the ambience and it has some pretty great prices for being in the Green Valley shopping mall area. We went in on a Saturday night and of course made a reservation...this is a must on a weekend, because the place is not too big..even with a patio. We both ordered some beer zombie beers listed on the menu...waitress came back and said we ran out of those and gave us 4 to choose from. I got the negra modelo which they did have, but they did not have yet another beer for hub, so he went with the corona premier...we were sadly a little disappointed by this and I hope it was isolated...I really like local beers so I hope this gets fixed. Hub ordered two carne asada tacos and I got the cheese enchilada plate..we shared my rice and beans. The food was good, but lacked any real spice. Even the salsa really does not have a kick to it..so this is a milder Mexican cuisine. I would come back and try to ask for some extra spice...might order something different. The ambience though was simply amazing!

I recently visited Cantina tequila in Henderson in the Green Valley area. I really love the decor and the tequila was amazing. We had a margarita , beer and a tequila shot. The bartender was nice, courteous, and attentive The bathroom for the ladies has pictures of a known actor go in and see who it is for yourself.

Cantina Tequila never disappoints! The food is always incredible, the service is attentive and friendly, and the ambiance truly takes your breath away. It's such a beautiful spot with amazing energy -- it's honestly a whole vibe. I usually order the tacos or the chilaquiles, and both are packed with flavor every single time. You can tell everything is made with care. And of course, I always get a margarita -- the perfect pairing! Everything is clean and well maintained, which makes the experience even better. I love bringing friends and family here whenever I get the chance. It's one of my go-to spots in Las Vegas for great food and great vibes!

Thank you Amanda and the Hawaiian manager on duty last night for being so accommodating and making us feel welcome. This place is so kitschy and entertaining. Every book had some interesting memorabilia to look at. Definitely can't take it all in one day so will be back soon. We decided to make our own flight of tequila and Amanda had some great recommendations. Go check out their bathrooms! Trust me, you'll be in there for a minute.

Food was tasty. I quite enjoyed the birra tacos. Their queso fundito is really nice and melt goodness. Danny was our server and he was very prompt with our service. It's really cute inside and lots of details to look at. Only downside is that the place is really loud. It was not easy to have a conversation at our table with just two people.

To start the ambiance of this place is unmatched. It's like stepping into a Mexican fiesta mixed with a fever dream. The colors are so bright and vibrant yet the restaurant itself is so dark and mysterious. It is a must to stop and check out all the decor. Now the food was middle of the road Mexican food. The chips were delicious and we went through 2 baskets easily. The menu is surprisingly small with a few staple options. I went with the enchiladas which were good but a bit dry and not as hot as I would have liked.

How does 50% off Margaritas on Mondays sound? Sounds good to us! We've passed by Cantina Tequila restaurant many times and I think it used to be a skinny fats before. The vibe here is great, service at the bar was fantastic, and we throughly enjoyed! We tried the food and the gringo tacos were exactly that. A hard shell will hamburger meat and maybe a little too much seasoning, but not bad. The carne asada tacos were decent too, not the best but extremely passable to get your feed on without breaking the bank. We were also told that they have taco Tuesday half off of tacos as well! Definitely will return, decent joint!

Great service, food, decor, and cocktail presentation! The restaurant is very festive and beautiful. Love the high booth chairs - created a little more privacy. We had tacos and both enjoyed them! They made sure to prepare mine gluten free. I was not prepared for my giant margarita! Pretty fabulous I had a strawberry margarita on the rocks with a spicy rim and my friend went high end margarita! Very enjoyable lunch, looking for to many more fun visits!

    The beautiful ceiling decor!

We have seen this restaurant many times near our home. We decided to try it. I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious. The elote was so flavorful and delicious. We also had drinks and the cantina burrito. The service was great. The ambience was perfect.

From the moment you sit down, you feel like a regular -- even if it's your first time in. Today John was at the bar. He has a real talent for reading the room. Busy night? Your drink appears fast and exactly right. Slow evening? He'll chat with you just enough to make the place feel warm without hovering. That balance is harder to find than most people realize. John always makes the drinks well -- no shortcuts, good pour, and he actually remembers what you ordered last time you were in. The attention to detail is what separates a good bartender from a great one. The vibe of this whole bar really comes down to the person behind the counter, and John and the rest of the bartenders absolutely carry it. Friendly, professional, and genuinely seem to enjoy the work. If you haven't stopped in yet, do yourself a favor.

Running around playing slots like a wild chicken man had left me exhausted and I was becoming uncomfortably lucid. I caught a wave outside the Skyline and rode it down the Boulder Highway. There's a strange swirling energy that ebbs and flows along this highway. It pools in vortices in casinos on either side of the road. It swept me right inside this place. Sunset Station is home of The Gaudi Bar, named after famed Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926). This is one of my favorite places to visit and a great place to work on getting your buzz back. I grabbed a seat and urgently got to work. Sixteen ounces later things were starting to look up. And there's a lot to see here. Now, you don't need to be high to enjoy Gaudi, but his work is all the more delightful if you are. Same with the Gaudi Bar here. The higher, the better. The bar reminds me of an indoor version of Park Guell, the little park designed in the Catalan Modernist style by Gaudi up in the low hills overlooking Barcelona. Straight lines were like an anathema to Gaudi. In his work, everything you expect to be straight is curvy, and he favors brightly colored mosaics pieced together from broken ceramics. The Gaudi Bar at Sunset Station has the same type of architectural columns which support Park Guell. They look like tree trunks, which branch out to support a fancifully scalloped domed ceiling ringing the bar area, with the top of the dome removed to expose a fake blue sky. The ceiling features a number of cutouts for lighting covered with fantastic mosaics, functioning like stained glass windows. Ringing the ceiling are wicked cool red lanterns which look like volcanic stalactites growing through a tangled web of wires and threatening to drip hot lava on the patrons below. The table behind me was filled with what looked to be mayonnaise salesmen celebrating something. I noticed they were sitting directly under a lantern. It occurred to me to warn them about the dripping lava but just then a cocktail waitress came by and I got distracted. When I looked back they were gone. Poor bastards. I finished my beer and hit the penny slots. Mikey C says: Hot Lava!

On top of that, they were playing rap/hip hop when the space would make much more sense with chill lounge music, jazz, or oldies. The vibe feels confused. The menu is also poorly positioned for the location. A lot of the items are things I'd much rather get from the surrounding restaurants that do them better. If King's Fish is 10 steps away, or Echo & Rig is nearby, why would I choose to pay $58 for a ribeye here in what feels like an empty gaming bar? Instead of differentiating itself, Oak Room seems to be competing in categories where the nearby spots already win. The place would make far more sense leaning into elevated bar food, small plates, and finger foods. Outside of fries, fried shrimp, and egg rolls, there's not much on the menu that fits the environment. This is not the kind of place people naturally want to go for herb-crusted salmon or a ribeye. I'm writing this more as a favor to the owner than anything else: reevaluate the menu, the music, and the overall positioning. Right now it doesn't feel like a place to work, chill, or have a standout meal -- and the fact that it always seems empty reflects that.
