    Yummy seasoned tortilla chips

I pass this place all the time and am always curious about it but have never stopped in. I finally decided to give it a try for a date night and it did not dissapoint. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The decorations in this place are plentiful and very visually interesting. There is literally so much to look at in here but it's not too crazy overwhelming. Our server was great. She made sure to check in on us a lot and made sure my husband did not get any cilantro. Much appreciated. The cocktails were good and I'd like to come in to try more. The food was super good and I'd definitely come back in to have more of it. I really liked their version of queso fundido. So freaking good. Also, I liked the seasoning on the chips. The portion sizes are generous and the pricing isn't too expensive.

Service was great flavor in the food was missing. Overall place is nicely decorated decently priced the salads was great but the esquire, biria tacos, and fish taco was bland and disappointing for Mexican food.

Stopped in for some drinks and based on the smells I wish I came for the food. Sat at the bar had a few tequila shots and a peach margarita. Bartender was cool and welcoming. Love the dia de los muertos decor and low riders. Overall the place is a vibe.

Met some friends from out of town here for lunch (on a Thursday) and we had a wonderful time. It was a lovely 70 degree day so we sat on the patio, Brenna was our server. She was welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, management, and wild decor. Turns out, Cantina's linked to Golden Tiki (one of my favorite local bars), makes total sense, especially once you see the bathrooms haha! This place is a maximalist's paradise. No surface has been left untouched, from the floral ceilings to the sexy restrooms, the groovy atmosphere is unique and playful. You can't help but smile when you enter. We had questions and Brenna had answers, and excellent suggestions! With so many options it's great to have someone who knows the menu. We each tried various margaritas, my favorite was the guava - may be the best in Vegas... We also shared the queso dip which was so yummy, hard to stop eating - chips and salsa are good on their own, but try the cheese. The main dishes were huge, large enough to share, if you're so inclined. The chili relleno was crispy and full of cheese, and the enchiladas looked amazing although I didn't try them, I will next time. Beans and rice were well seasoned and complimentary to the meal although both seemed a little dry, most people wouldn't notice. Overall, our visit was fantastic and I'll definitely be back!

This place is all about the ambience and it has some pretty great prices for being in the Green Valley shopping mall area. We went in on a Saturday night and of course made a reservation...this is a must on a weekend, because the place is not too big..even with a patio. We both ordered some beer zombie beers listed on the menu...waitress came back and said we ran out of those and gave us 4 to choose from. I got the negra modelo which they did have, but they did not have yet another beer for hub, so he went with the corona premier...we were sadly a little disappointed by this and I hope it was isolated...I really like local beers so I hope this gets fixed. Hub ordered two carne asada tacos and I got the cheese enchilada plate..we shared my rice and beans. The food was good, but lacked any real spice. Even the salsa really does not have a kick to it..so this is a milder Mexican cuisine. I would come back and try to ask for some extra spice...might order something different. The ambience though was simply amazing!

The ambience is beautiful to stop at the bar and have a drink. Inside is very pretty and the outside garden is nice too. The service was good The food was not what I expected my husband chicken baked potato was good. I had chicken which was very salty The rice and beans were ice cold I couldn't eat them. My tortillas were burned Needs improvement hot food only Thank You

As a Henderson local I've been wanting to try this place for along time. We were under the impression that it was by reservation only so we made one. Although when we arrived it wasn't too busy and I think they were accepting walk-ins. May have been because it was Thursday. The vibe inside is super dope with a lot of vibrant colors and cool decor. The bathrooms were literally like a club lol. My whole party enjoyed their food and we had a variety of dishes from fish, burritos, tacos, and kids meals. Will definitely be coming back to try more

I recently visited Cantina tequila in Henderson in the Green Valley area. I really love the decor and the tequila was amazing. We had a margarita , beer and a tequila shot. The bartender was nice, courteous, and attentive The bathroom for the ladies has pictures of a known actor go in and see who it is for yourself.

Place is really nicely decorated. Bright and vivid colors. Lots of people on a Sunday night. Service was excellent.Crystal is an excellent Waitress and very attentive. Food? Not so much. This is not authentic Mexican food. More like chevys or El Torito style. Caesars salad is Super spicy. Carne asada tacos very dry: Potato tacos were literally Tater tots! No bueno. Margarita was small and full of ice not tequila. Very disappointed. Won't be back...

Been wanting to try this place for awhile! Went here on July 4th was so glad they were open. The decorations and interior were really nice, our server, and overall customer service was great. The food was better than I expected! Def recommend the elote and tacos.

How does 50% off Margaritas on Mondays sound? Sounds good to us! We've passed by Cantina Tequila restaurant many times and I think it used to be a skinny fats before. The vibe here is great, service at the bar was fantastic, and we throughly enjoyed! We tried the food and the gringo tacos were exactly that. A hard shell will hamburger meat and maybe a little too much seasoning, but not bad. The carne asada tacos were decent too, not the best but extremely passable to get your feed on without breaking the bank. We were also told that they have taco Tuesday half off of tacos as well! Definitely will return, decent joint!

This was our first visit here & we really enjoyed our experience. Good food with great service & reasonable prices. I went with the chicken fajita's & they were delicious! Hot, sizzling with plenty of sour cream, pico & guacamole to smear on top. The Mrs had their queso enchiladas that she just loved. Covered in a red sauce & stuffed with their house blend of cheeses, it looked wonderful. Of course we both had a frozen prickly pear margarita with tajin around the rim of the glass. Quite tasty. They have a small outdoor patio with a misting cooling system to help beat the heat & a bar as you enter the building. Should have plenty of seating for your party. The atmosphere was interesting with shots of Walter Mercado & even one of his capes on the walls. Restrooms were also unusual. I'll let you be surprised as you explore them on your next visit. The Mrs & I will be back.

To start the ambiance of this place is unmatched. It's like stepping into a Mexican fiesta mixed with a fever dream. The colors are so bright and vibrant yet the restaurant itself is so dark and mysterious. It is a must to stop and check out all the decor. Now the food was middle of the road Mexican food. The chips were delicious and we went through 2 baskets easily. The menu is surprisingly small with a few staple options. I went with the enchiladas which were good but a bit dry and not as hot as I would have liked.

Main seating area. It's a vibe

The bartenders have come across as unusually aggressive and visibly annoyed from the start of interactions. I understand that busy nights can be stressful, but the consistent rudeness seems to be part of the overall experience rather than an isolated incident. What made the experience especially uncomfortable is that, after reading many positive reviews, I found myself wondering why my interactions felt so different. As a Mexicana, I can't help but question whether my ethnicity played a role in the way I was treated. I can't say for certain that it did, but the contrast was significant enough that it left me feeling unwelcome and concerned.

The food was amazing the first time, but the food was a bit off last time I was here, though still good. First, I would look forward to coming here because of their whipped mashed potatoes. I remember this place had the best whipped mashed potatoes I've had; however, it was super salty last time I was here. Also, the first time I had the short rib was so flavorful and tender, but last time it was a bit tough and too fatty. We also had the mushroom tart, steak frites, sole meuniere, carrot cake, and mexican hot chocolate brulee. Dessert was my fave and I really enjoyed both dishes. Overall, good spot for food, but it was better the first time I came.
