Great service! Pet-friendly and very clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They provide accurate diagnosis with clear treatment options. I will definitely come back!

Amazing doctor. She is the best doctor I have met. She always recommended something no cost first, then it didn't work , she will let you try another way with affordable cost. But mostly with her experiences, our dog didn't need any expensive costs. She is very honest and has a very good heart for dogs and their parents also . I love this doctor a lot. She is very special that most of doctors won't have . They always charged us thousands dollars for any small symptoms , very costly that we were afraid to bring my dogs there. Love this clinic and highly recommend this clinic as long as she still works here

I am beyond happy with my experience at Placentia Veterinary Clinic! I just moved to the area and with my move I had to leave my previous vet behind. I was extremely hesitant when looking for a new vet because I have had negative experiences in the past. I have six fur babies so I am at the vet more than most! But yesterday when my litter of 2 week old French Bulldog puppies got sick I was forced to take them in to a new veterinary clinic. This clinic was able to get me an appointment next day and Dr. Debbie as well as the staff were amazing! Every employee I talked to on the phone was so kind and informative. Not only was Dr. Debbie very upfront and honest but she was extremely sympathetic as well. I could tell she really cared about my babies. They will have my business here on out and they should have yours too!

I've taken my dogs to PVC for 15 yrs and I will never go back! The original owner was wonderful, completely in it for the animals. The new owner, while nice, seems more concerned about the money than the animals. I knew I shouldn't have gone back when my little Jaime was sick a week and a half ago but I didn't have a new vet. They took x-rays, sold me a bunch of meds (that he couldn't take cuz he wasn't eating) , told me about his x-ray results then sent me on my way. Did not seem the least bit concerned about the fluid in his body that showed up in the x-ray, just said to give him the diuretic and that would make him pee it out. I called the next day because Jaime still wouldn't eat so couldn't take meds (granted the vet knew he wasn't eating when prescribed pills). Two hours later the vet finally called back and said to bring Jaime in the next day for a shot! What? Why no shot the first time they saw him? My husband took him in. Dr couldn't be bothered to see him and had assistant give shot, so no more info on what may be wrong. Jaime died 24 hrs later. Maybe he would have regardless. I just think that if the vet had shown more concern, instead of telling me his heart, spine and trachea were all healthy, we could have proceeded differently. I new I should have trusted my thoughts on going back when the visit a yr ago resulted in one of my dogs screaming in pain when her assistant was cleaning his glands and shoving her inch long point nails up my little guys bottom. I will never recommend this place again and I will never forgive them for their lack of concern. Lastly, two days after I sent them an email about Jaime, they texted a reminder that Jaime had an appointment. I called to tell them he wouldn't make it since he died after his last visits. Their comment was "ok, I'll make a note that Jaime won't be in today". That was the extent of there concern

Then, in the late afternoon I was told that we were removed from the schedule due to no response from my behalf. They said they called me at 9 am and I didn't answer so they removed my dog from their schedule. In truth I didn't receive a call until 2:10 pm, I didn't answer however I called back within 15 minutes. After a day of phone tag, I received a call from them just an hour before they closed to let me know they would not be able to perform the surgery as they had removed my dog from the schedule since I "missed" their call at 9 am. Again, I had never received a call from them in the morning - just the automated text for confirmation. I asked what their next soonest availability was and they said the next two weeks were booked and we would have to go somewhere else. I also would like to add that we did call other vets to see what the other options for treatment would be, and one of the vet hospitals we reached out to had requested medical records from Nohl. This was another factor to my dog's surgery being cancelled, because the receptionist desk assumed that we would be going somewhere else for surgery instead of contacting me for confirmation. This was truly a disappointing experience as we had nothing but good things to say prior to this incident. The communication was incredible up until the day before surgery. Now, I have to find another vet, pay another exam fee, and possible prolong the condition my dog is in.

Dr. Lee and team slayed my pup's spay! As noted in my…read moreoriginal review, my pup got spayed back in March of this year, and the whole process was as smooth as it possibly could have been (besides me being a nervous wreck the whole time because what dog mom isn't when their fur baby is undergoing surgery?!) The staff was super reassuring, answered every question to every last detail, Dr. Lee made sure to come and speak with me directly to also provide that added reassurance as well. They were very thorough with the discharge as well, I got a phone call from Dr. Lee the moment her spay was completed to let me know everything went well, and he informed me that I could pick her up in a few additional hours as to ensure they could monitor her post spay before discharge. When i went to pick her up, she was understandably zoned out but, you could also tell she was well looked after and she felt safe being with the staff (this is what really made the experience so comforting for me) I was provided discharge papers with instructions, and medication for her to take over the next couple of days. Her incisions were done so neatly, and the stitches were so impressively done! It took about a week for her to be back to her sassy self, and by the end of week 2, her stitches were barely visible!! Dr. Lee uses dissolving stitches so there was no need to go back to have them removed. This was also a huge plus for me as other vets I had shopped around at, did inform me that I would need to come in for stitches to be removed and for a follow up exam. Dr. Lee made it simple and simply asked that I provide detailed photos via email, and that if he felt there was need for a follow up he would determine it at that time. Needless to say, no follow up was needed! It's now been 4 months post spay and my pup doesn't even have a scar! CUSTOMER SERVICE: I had to share, I emailed Dr. Lee's office about an hour ago asking about some general vaccine questions. I didn't expect any answer today as it's past 5 PM on a Sunday, and their office is closed on Sundays anyhow. To my surprise, someone replied to me within minutes, and continued to reply back and forth within the email thread for nearly 20 minutes to answer all my questions!! I know lots of places out there advertise "24 hour support" etc. yet fall short. Lee animal hospital doesn't advertise that but, their customer service simply speaks for itself. This wasn't an email around a paid service or appointment, it was a genuine generic question that I could have easily searched online for an answer but, opted to ask the team for peace of mind. Really shows what a great staff they have and how they truly care about their clients! If you're looking for a new vet, a secondary vet, or just a better vet, i highly recommend Lee animal hospital. Even if you're not local to Orange, if you're in the surrounding cities, it's well worth the short commute and it's conveniently located right off the freeway which is a bonus!

If I could give Dr. Ash 10 stars, I would!…read more After many years of sharing my life with cats (including some wonderfully opinionated and very shy ones), I can honestly say Dr. Ash is the best veterinarian I've ever had. Around our house, he's simply known as The Cat Whisperer. Somehow he has this magical "Dr. Ash method" that can calm even my most nervous, difficult cats. Cats that normally hide, hiss, or make everyone work for it seem to trust him. I still haven't figured out his secret! What really sets Dr. Ash apart is the time he gives every patient and every pet parent. He never makes you feel rushed. He explains blood work and treatment options in incredible detail, answers every question, and has even called me in the evening to personally discuss test results. That level of care and dedication is almost unheard of. I also want to recognize his amazing staff. Raquel, Andrea, and everyone at the clinic are always so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Whether they're drawing blood, collecting urine samples, trimming nails, or giving one of my cats a sanitary trim, they handle each cat with such compassion and professionalism. You can tell they truly love what they do. I've trusted Dr. Ash and his team with my cats for many years, and I wouldn't trust anyone more. They treat every one of my cats as if they were their own, and that means the world to me. And here's the highest compliment I can give him: if Dr. Ash ever moved to Timbuktu... I'd be pricing moving trucks the same day. That's how much I trust him. Thank you, Dr. Ash, Raquel, Andrea, and the entire team for the exceptional care you've given my furry family over the years. You are all simply the best.

That alone I can fix, but the bigger issue is what those records contained. They listed two cancellations: one marked as a "no show" (which I'm certain I called to cancel) and another as a "late cancellation," with a note to charge me a deposit next time. What the notes failed to mention is that these cancellations were due to another cat of mine being treated in the ER, who ultimately passed away. I even tried to have that cat seen at CoF but couldn't get a same-day appointment. This omission, combined with the lack of professionalism and compassion, makes it clear this is not the kind of place I trust to care for my pets. I wish I could speak to someone in person about my experience, but honestly, I doubt it would make a difference. Previous Review: Bottom line up front, while the veterinarians and techs were caring, the front office staff's disorganization and lack of follow-through make this clinic unreliable, and I will not be returning. 3 Stars for veterinary care I brought my cat in on two separate occasions--once with Dr. Meinnert and once with Dr. Yasso. Both doctors were caring and attentive. However, my first visit with Dr. Meinnert felt more focused on scheduling a dental cleaning than on resolving my cat's immediate issue, which remained unresolved. I preferred Dr. Yasso's manner and interaction with my cat, but unfortunately, the underlying problem was not cleared up by either visit. 1 Star for front office staff My experience with the front office was consistently frustrating. The first time I called to schedule an appointment, I was placed on hold for several minutes. When I finally spoke to someone, I was told that as a new patient, the earliest available appointment would be months away. I declined at the time, hoping to be seen sooner elsewhere. Later that same day, I called back and was suddenly offered an appointment the following week--suggesting that the staff had been too overwhelmed during my first call to even check the schedule properly. The second issue was with medical records. I submitted four separate requests to have my cat's records sent to a holistic vet--via email and follow-up phone calls. On my first follow-up, I was assured the request would be handled. Two days later, I was told there was no record of it and that three other requests would be processed before mine. Even after asking for priority, since I had already been promised it would be handled, I was told it would still wait until after the others. Ultimately, the records were never sent in time for my appointment. Summary: While I appreciated the care provided by the veterinarians, the front office staff made the overall experience extremely difficult. The lack of organization and follow-through left me with little confidence in how the practice is run. I had hoped to make these vets my cat's primary care providers, but due to the front office issues, I will not be returning.
