Binx when he was recovering from FIP
    Erandi W.

I came back to Cat Care Clinic when my cat Binx got very sick with FIP in July 2024. We took him to his vet at the time, but we wanted to get a second opinion. He was not doing good at all, and I thought I would lose him at one point. Coming here for a second opinion was the best thing I ever did! We met with Dr. Kiser, who has been a life saver! She is such an amazing Vet and always so caring and thoughtful. After she examined him the first time, she knew exactly what was going on and provided us with options on what we can do. I am so incredibly thankful to her for everything she has done for Binx. He wouldn't still be with us if it wasn't for her! We started taking our other cats there too. Love that this vet office is only cats and Dr. Kiser is so incredibly knowledgeable! She always takes her time with each cat and shows so much care and love towards them! The whole staff does! The staff there is also so amazing!! Everyone at the front desk and in the back are so friendly, helpful and caring! They really go above and beyond every time! They always remember us and are very personal! They always take their time and never make us feel rushed. They are also very honest and don't try and charge for anything unnecessary. I truly trust them with our kitties. Although Cat Care Clinic is not close to us, I will continue to bring my fur babies here because I know they are in the best care with Dr. Kiser and the staff here!

It's great that they said specialize it cats. I had to make an appointment for a cat who was having health issues. When they saw him they were able to get a sample when a genera urgent care we visited beforehand could not.

Today 6/5 I had to take my 7 yr old cat to the vet because he was having stomach pain and diarrhea. This came on suddenly within overnight and morning. My fur guy is SOOO healthy and has never been sick. He is always indoors and eats only cat food(not even treats). So I went into anxiety. Who do I go see? The vet who saw him as a kitten was afraid to pick him up because he hissed at her. She wanted me to sedidate him 1st. UMMM NO. Another Male Vet a few months wanted to do the same sedate him and run &600-$800 of tests. UMMM NO SOOO I called The Cat Clinic. I seriously prayed on the way there Dr. Mitchell came right in and handled my Fur-Love as I'd say, "The cat Whisper". Handled and checked him out EVERYWHERE on his body and asked oodles of IMPORTANT questions and treated him instantly.I was SOOO thankful to her and her utmost professionalism The front office team, along with the Vet Techs were as professional, kind, LISTENED as if I was the only one there. My husband and I drive by there often and I would say if I ever need a VET I will call them. SOOO thankful to ALL We found a place who truly cares and knows how to take action. OUR VET for the rest of my Fur-Love life. Dr Mitchell allowed me to take pics because I was in amazed at what I had just witnessed OH AN IMACILATE CLEAN OFFICE I was in tears going there and in tears OF JOY upon leaving there

We have been coming to the Cat Care Clinic for 28 years. The facility remains clean and organized, the drs are caring and knowledgeable and the staff are pleasant. We have had 6 cats cared for by them and our oldest cat was 22. They helped us care for her all 22 years. When we recently had to put her down they were compassionate and understanding. They have a special room with an outside exit so you can say goodbye. We highly recommend the Cat Care Clinic!

Honestly, I had a breakdown before walking into this new clinic because my experiences with vets have been indifferent and just money grabbing. My cat is 18 years old and I just want a vet that really cares and KNOWS what they are doing. Alot of times they shove tests and this place really smoothed my worries, didn't pressure any extra tests. They really showed care and love. Also the receptionist as busy as they were are soooo nice and patient! I really recommend this place.

The facility itself is very well equipped, with more than 100 rooms. They also have separate isolation rooms in case a dog gets sick, which helps prevent illnesses from spreading to other dogs. I thought that was a huge plus. All new dogs are required to provide vaccination records, and they also do about a 20-minute temperament assessment before joining. Based on each dog's personality, they arrange suitable playgroups instead of just mixing all the dogs together. The staff are also very professional and attentive. My 54 lb Jindo does not do well with strangers, she is all bark but no bite. I was very anxious bringing her to any dog care but Wendy was willing to do an assessment prior to their stay. This was my very first time doing any sort of dog care so I was really worried about leaving them. They did really well and my other dog had so much fun (he's a social butterfly). The main reason I chose this place vs all the other dog boarding is because they offer a "home" living experience rather than a facility/warehouse. My dogs always freely roams the house and lays on our bed, couch, wherever they please so I wanted something similar and Wendy's house provided that. I couldn't bare the thought of them being kept in a narrow sleeping quarter locked throughout the day. Thank you for taking great care of my babies! This place will definitely be my go-to for any future dog boarding.

August 11th The Day We Lost Louie…read more Our six-year-old French Bulldog, Louie, died from heatstroke just two and a half hours into what we were told would be a four-hour trial day at this daycare. We were told the purpose of the trial was simply to see whether Louie could get along with other dogs. We were never told that he would be taken to a dog park or participate in strenuous outdoor activity. We chose this daycare because the owner told us she owns a French Bulldog herself, and because the daycare had very good reviews. We trusted that our French Bulldog would be understood and properly cared for. What happened that day is something we will never forget. 9:00 AM -- We dropped Louie off for his four-hour trial. 9:30 AM -- Just 30 minutes later, Louie was taken to a dog park for outdoor activity without our knowledge. We had never been told that he would be taken off the daycare premises or to a dog park. The temperature that day ranged from approximately 77°F to 85°F. 10:18 AM -- According to the daycare, Louie vomited after the activity. We were not informed when it happened. 11:30 AM -- More than an hour after he vomited, we received a photo of his vomit. At the same time, we were communicating about payment and completing a reservation for his future stay. We were given no indication that Louie was experiencing a potentially life-threatening emergency. 11:45 AM -- We received a phone call telling us that Louie was not breathing. 12:00 PM -- Louie was pronounced dead from heatstroke. Our dog went into the daycare alive and healthy at 9:00 AM. By noon, he was dead. What is especially devastating is what we learned afterward. We were told that they had never seen Louie breathing so heavily before. We were also told that they had tried giving him water, but he was vomiting. For a French Bulldog, excessive panting, vomiting, and difficulty breathing in hot conditions can be serious warning signs of overheating and heatstroke. French Bulldogs are particularly vulnerable to heat because of their shortened airways and difficulty cooling themselves efficiently through panting. Yet during the critical period when Louie was apparently struggling, we received no immediate warning and no update about his condition. The owner was also not present at the daycare at the time. We later learned that she had a doctor's appointment, which contributed to a delay in communication. While the adults were dealing with schedules, appointments, and communication, Louie was suffering--and we knew nothing. This was supposed to be a simple four-hour trial to see whether Louie could socialize with other dogs. We never agreed to have him taken to a dog park in temperatures reaching 85°F. We never imagined that he would be subjected to strenuous outdoor activity in hot weather. We are devastated that Louie was placed in this situation while in someone else's care. We trusted this daycare because we believed they understood French Bulldogs. That trust was shattered in the worst possible way. Louie was in their care. We trusted them to keep him safe. We expected him to come home. He never did. Louie was not just a dog. He was part of our family, and we will never get him back.

We also would ask him about problem behavior such as counter surfing or jumping up on people to greet, and Dave would target those specific behaviors as well. Chelsea recently passed away at 17, almost 18. She had such a long, happy life because of the care she received here. Chelsea was my baby, and I know how hard it can be to find a good vet. Pets can't talk, but you can see when they are genuinely cared for--and Chelsea got the best care at OC Veterinary. From the receptionists to the doctors, she was loved by everyone, and I am so grateful for that. Chelsea saw both Dr. Horn and, mostly, Dr. Nikki--both are exceptional veterinarians. We saw Dr. Nikki the most, and we had a very special connection with her. After Chelsea passed, Dr. Nikki even reached out to check on us, which was incredibly kind. She is practical, compassionate, and everything you could want in a vet. Chelsea also saw the groomer, Heather, who was very gentle and careful with her. Chelsea had back issues and was an older little lady, so it was comforting to know she was in safe hands. Sandra and Steve also made a big impact on Chelsea's life, especially Steve. They cared for her like she was their own family. Steve even called to check on us after Chelsea passed, which meant so much. I'm sorry this review comes so late, but I feel Chelsea would have wanted me to write it, and I want to honor her memory. No one enjoys visiting the doctor, but I am so grateful that we found such a wonderful facility to care for Chelsea. I loved her with all my heart, and after our family, OC Veterinary loved her most.
