I came back to Cat Care Clinic when my cat Binx got very sick with FIP in July 2024. We took him to his vet at the time, but we wanted to get a second opinion. He was not doing good at all, and I thought I would lose him at one point. Coming here for a second opinion was the best thing I ever did! We met with Dr. Kiser, who has been a life saver! She is such an amazing Vet and always so caring and thoughtful. After she examined him the first time, she knew exactly what was going on and provided us with options on what we can do. I took my kittens here to get spayed and vaccinated. They were given fecal and urine tests and I was told that they had coccidia. But, they switched names of my kittens in the profile pictures even after confirming with the tech their physical differences for id-ing before taking them in the back for labs. Then they said one kitten had bacterial infection in the urine sample and said they were going to give her convenia and I asked them to do a culture before. Then they said Clavamox and cat got diarrhea and retested and still bacteria. The nurse said they didn't mix the names up, Dr. Kiser told me to my face they did not mix them up and then when I got home Dr. Kiser called and said they weren't confident that they didn't mix the names and labs up and I could come back and retest. They kept prolonging the spay by saying my kitten had bacteria in the urine after this. Then they gave ORBAX in the office when it's not supposed to be administered to kittens that young because it causes damage to cartilage and heart. Then they said my other kitten had a blockage and needed and ultrasound then it cleared on its own. Fear mongering. Dr Kiser had me in a room with her nurse while my supposedly ill kitten was in another room and said she was scared of all my questions and asked if I wanted to change vets. She actually was upset I asked her about toxoplasmosis. I asked her why she gave my kitten Orbax when it says on the box not to give to young animals under a certain weight because it causes joint and cartilage damage and also blindness and flouroquinolones cause heart damage. I told her it's up to her and that I would still ask questions. She had actually told me prior to feel free to ask any questions. I was changed to the opera singer vet said that the bacterial infection might be cystitis because she went to a conference so I spent thousands and put myself and my kittens in stress and needless antibiotics by their negligence and they were not even spayed yet. The kitten that was given ORBAX got cardio myopathy which was diagnosed when I changed to a different clinic completely and eventually had saddle thrombus and was euthanized. I hate myself for taking my cats here. I will never forget how badly we were treated here. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. You want to go here because it's cats only but, they scare you, gaslight you and take no accountability for their mistakes. read more

We tried two other cat-only clinics, one of which is now closed due to the owner's passing. We were a little daunted by the drive, living in HB, but it was so worth it. Super kind front office staff, committed techs, amazing, patient, and deeply knowledgeable feline veterinarians. Cats are hard because they've adapted to mask their health symptoms, and having cat-only expertise really matters in making the correct diagnosis and treatment plan. On-site lab tests, rather than biting your nails for days waiting for results. Patient, thorough. Today 6/5 I had to take my 7 yr old cat to the vet because he was having stomach pain and diarrhea. This came on suddenly within overnight and morning. My fur guy is SOOO healthy and has never been sick. He is always indoors and eats only cat food(not even treats). So I went into anxiety. Who do I go see? The vet who saw him as a kitten was afraid to pick him up because he hissed at her. She wanted me to sedidate him 1st. UMMM NO. Another Male Vet a few months wanted to do the same sedate him and run &600-$800 of tests. UMMM NO SOOO I called The Cat Clinic. I seriously prayed on the way there Dr. Mitchell came right in and handled my Fur-Love as I'd say, "The cat Whisper". We have had 6 cats cared for by them and our oldest cat was 22. They helped us care for her all 22 years. When we recently had to put her down they were compassionate and understanding. During the pandemic I took a very sick cat of mine to Dr Wexler-Mitchel for chemotherapy treatments for several months, while unfortunately my cat didn't make it, Dr Wexler-Mitchel, Dr Brown and Lindsay did an incredible job of keeping us informed of her progress, being honest and detailed about her care and prognosis and were very caring the entire time. My cat is living her best life after her dental surgery. This clinic is clean, professional, and cat approved. The surgeon called me after the procedure and told me everything I needed to know about what was done, how she he was doing, and her aftercare. She also called the following morning to check on my cat. I will also mention that last year, I had a very sick cat with cancer who was suppose to come here. It was a stressful time, and when I called to cancel my appointment and let them know that he crossed the rainbow bridge, they were so empathetic towards me while I was in tears on the phone. It's really comforting finding a place like this that really cares about cats. Not everyday that you can call a stranger crying, and have them be so understanding. The Cat Care Clinic has always been the vet for my cats. They explain everything in detail, treat my cats with kindness and patience, and their customer service has always been amazing. They have always been so caring for my cats! Unfortunately, I won't be able to say the same thing about their boarding. We had dropped off our cat for boarding for about 3 days or so. We trusted them, and it was our first time boarding our cat. Our cat needed to have a cone on. We made sure they put it in their notes that he needed to have his cone on. We also bought his medicated food there and asked for the morsel option, since the loaf he does not like. We called them the day after to check on him. The person that answered the phone put us on hold for about 5 minutes or so after we asked (I'm assuming to check on him). They return and they said he's very shy, so they said they put him in a quiet room. We asked how he was eating and made sure he still had his cone on. They said, "He's been eating, but let me make sure he has his cone on. I see you put in the notes to make sure to have his cone on." We hang up, and we already assumed they did not put his cone on. They call about 2 hours later and they explain they needed to have the cone off due to the space of the cage. It wouldn't be comfortable enough for him to move around. I don't understand why they did not say anything when we checked in. We should not have had to call to make sure. They said they checked to make sure he did not over groom and confirmed he looks fine. When we went to pick him up, his rash-y spot (that was healing/drying up before we dropped him off... probably would have fully healed if they left the cone on him) looked raw once again. They also provided the rest of the food we had purchased from them and we checked it and saw they gave us cans of the loaf, not the morsel. It was a very disappointing experience. We trusted them to follow the notes, since they have always been so good to us. I'm not sure if it's just the boarding, but it was so very very upsetting that we had to call in order to make sure they followed our instructions. They did not call to let us know about the issue with the cone, which caused him to groom his rash. It's unfortunate, and now we aren't sure if we will continue services with them. It may have just been the boarding, but how can I trust their services if I can't trust them with boarding? read more

I tried booking my cat here because she sounds slightly congested. Clear eyes and no boogers, just sounds a little phlemy sometimes. I took her to a different vet first and they suggested allergy testing but said nothing else was looking out of the ordinary and that's she's healthy. I wanted to try out Cat Care Clinic to see if they could give me a better suggestion on what's going on. They told me a regular visit is like $80 but because this is a "second opinion" it's $132. huh? why? I don't have any lab work from the first vet or anything for them to be analyzing and spending extra time than whatever they would do for a first time visit. So based on that terrible logic already I can only assume this place is expensive and will nickle and dime you so I said nevermind. Disappointing. read more

I have 3 cats, and have gone to many vets over the years, and cat care clinic has been my favorite! I've seen multiple vets there, and always been happy. I appreciate their focus on cats only (but have gone to other cat only vets that weren't nearly as good!) when my senior cat was ill; they were so helpful and compassionate. And when it came time for her to pass the entire staff was so caring and sensitive, I've had other experiences letting pets go at other vets but was not nearly as satisfied with how they handled it as I was here. They sent a sympathy card from the entire staff, and the timing and handling of everything in the end couldn't have been better. Dr Bagwa, who I know did absolutely everything possible to try and help my girl, even called me after she passed away to ask how I was doing. I can tell aje truly cared for my kitty and she took time to get on the floor and connect with her, which I know made her final few visits less scary. For my healthy kitties, my visits have been great, the entire staff has been helpful from reception to the vet techs. I trust them with my cats, fan can't imagine taking them elsewhere now. Their prices are reasonable and appropriate, and they talk through options letting me know if I can't afford everything what they would do of the options. And they take care credit which helps. Overall, I highly recommend cat care clinic! And I also recommend Dr Bagwa after our experience together with my senior girl and her end of life care (although the other bets I've met were great too, and I'd see anyone there!) read more

The staff are all super friendly and welcoming, doing their best to make your visit as easy as possible. Dr Brown and the physician staff are amazing as well - they make sure to explain everything as clearly as possible, while showing an immense level of empathy. I also love how efficient and reliable everyone is on following up with results and information as quickly as possible. It's never fun going to the vet, but the team at CCC certainly do their best to make it go as smoothly as possible and I can't recommend them enough! read more

By no means do I think this clinic is bad or the people are bad I think they are all super incredible and super amazing and things happen. However, people are people. So if you do end up, bringing your cat here, make sure to get the itemized report and calculate all of it up yourself because they can overcharge.. I remember this day and when I was checking out, I questioned the amount they brought it to the back and said it was correct when I submitted the invoice to my pet insurance, well let's just say my pet insurance found out that they overcharged me when I called in to say that they overcharged me. I was told that that was Tax..... right on the paper it says tax is zero..... so then they finally agreed to pay me back what they overcharged...... to all of my feline parents out there. In update to your "let's cover our asses" response. I've called twice and have been put on hold for over 20 minutes. I've also left 3 emails and even an appointment booking to try to reach out. To no avail except THIS response on yelp... pathetic. The drainage never changed from when she was in your care, you were aware of the severity which was seen by another vet and prescribed antibiotics. As of today 12/12/24 she still has an open drainage hole, the vet thinks there's necrotic tissue left by your surgeon, she's scheduled for a SECOND surgery to remove what your surgeon left behind. This also doesn't bring attention to the NEGLIGENCE of the staff, calling me to check in to see how Kitty is doing while she's in your care? Not wearing a cone or surgery suit while in your care, the mischarges, the lack of communication, and the pulling teeth to get ahold of anyone there. You've only called me once after I posted this review and you only reached out on yelp after I sent a booking consult to complain some more. Why would I trust you or anyone in this practice to help my cat or I? You had zero concern prior when she was in your care or when she was sent home. The next day I called and was placed on a 20 minute hold. Then I sent 2 emails with no response. That was the first time I reached out. Only when I left the yelp review did you actually decide to try to call.. once. A surgeon's mistake and inability to assess her wellbeing is putting my cat through a SECOND surgery. TLDR: After my cat was in their care for 5 days, the severity of drainage never changed. She was seen as is the next day at a different vet who prescribed her heavy antibiotics for the OBVIOUS infection that needed something more than the basic shot which was given. read more

I have been bringing my cats to the Cat Care Clinic for close to 14 years. They have always gotten good care here, however one of my cats became ill recently and I needed to have her seen right away. I was told she could be seen in a couple days, so I made an afternoon appointment. My husband was to take her in, but he couldn't make it on time. I called the clinic to let them know he wouldn't be able to bring her. Yes, it was ten minutes after her appointment, but I was very stressed about the fact that she was sick and that their hours of operation make it difficult for working people to get there. On top of that, they went ahead and charged us a $50 fee for not getting there in time. So much for customer loyalty. We'll be taking our kitties elsewhere now. read more
