It was not until today that I called and got Ms. Tameko that my faith in humanity has been restored. Ms. Tameko was not only professional, attentive, proactive and courteous, but she actually called several providers for me as I would call, and no one would answer for me. Ms. Tameko searched providers in my area and stayed on the phone with me if in the event the provider could not accept my insurance and or if they did not have availability. Instead of offering a more efficient verification method (such as email or a direct call), I was required to go through a chatbot just to reach a live agent. After providing all requested information, I was transferred to another agent who then asked me to repeat the same questions all over again. Overall, the experience felt inefficient, repetitive, and a poor use of time for what should have been a quick update.

Fedelis deserves more than 3 stars (an average rating, as other companies my have tried to deny the MRI initially, but not 5 stars, as that is reserved for doing the right thing (approval) from the beginning. Therefore, in fairness to Fedelis, I am compelled to give them a 4-star rating because of their speed and concern after their care team contacted me and because they ultimately did the right thing and granted MRI approval.

At this point, every time I need to book any type of appointment, I lose hours trying to verify coverage because the directories and information provided are inaccurate or outdated. I am paying nearly $900/month for this insurance, yet I have spent an unbelievable amount of time trying to access basic care. The administrative burden has honestly become absurd. Please don't make up information on the phone about your ability to resolve major issues. that was absolutely ridiculous for something like employee health insurance, and I hope that rep was fired.
