When I called the Arlington branch to get clarification on why this was happening, an employee named Kennedy was completely unable to explain the numbers. She became overwhelmed, stating it was "too many numbers for her to keep up with" and that she couldn't view two accounts at the same time. When I politely requested to speak to a manager or another team member in her office who could calmly look at the accounts and assist me, Kennedy grew audibly frustrated, denied my request, and abruptly hung up on me. She didn't even provide the contact info where I was supposed to send my bank screenshots. As a Customer Service Manager myself with over 10 years of experience, hanging up on a customer dealing with severe, unauthorized billing issues is entirely unacceptable. Colaw Fitness heavily promotes itself as a Christian-based company that glorifies God, but the hostile, low-empathy behavior displayed today at this branch is the exact opposite of those values. I am demanding a prompt response from the upper management team to explain these five unauthorized $480.32 draft attempts and confirm my billing is secure. Until then, I strongly advise ALL members to watch their bank statements closely.

That excuse is unacceptable. If there truly were no error, I should have been told right away, not dragged along for months while they continued taking my money. To make matters worse, Colaw insists on continuing to charge my card unless I complete an "end of contract" form--something not even accessible on their website. They admitted I'd have to request it by email. This is a deliberate barrier designed to make it harder for members to leave, and it's shady business practice at best. The worst part? A customer service representative actually told me I could "just go somewhere else." How awful is that? That's how they treat loyal, paying members who have been driving 20 minutes each day to support their gym. Absolutely unacceptable. What's most disappointing is that this gym brands itself as being built on Christian values and morals. Yet their management refuses to take any accountability, refuses to meet loyal members halfway, and acts as if they're always right. Companies make mistakes--it happens. The previous location was already in a run-down part of Arlington, and this one isn't much of an improvement. On top of that, I was VERY disappointed to hear they will no longer have a kids club at the new location. I never received a heads-up or saw any posts mentioning this, and as a parent, that would have been nice to know at the VERY least. If you didn't like the previous location, you will definitely not like this one. The owner also has a temper, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. I've been a loyal customer for years, and now I have to go look elsewhere for a local gym.

I've paid for upgrades and private trainings as well as group classes. I've stayed loyal to this location but clearly keeping customers is not a priority. Can't believe they will be acquiring the Grand Prairie location that's shutting down with how awful and insensitive he is because proximity of location will keep people. Apart from that, the classes were great but I would have liked to see more focus on core exercises and maybe throw in some plyometrics. I was surprised to see them throw in more advanced barbell exercises in what was essentially a beginners class but it wasn't too bad. But I wish the coaches taught proper form a little better. Between the barbell work and multiple different ways to complete one type of exercise, I would have liked more of a breakdown of what muscles should be targeted for each different way of doing the exercise. All in all, a solid A for everything.

They use basically all matrix machines. Which aren't my favorite but they work. Normal stuff, smith machine, squat racks, bench stuff. It's very well equipped. They have a dedicated "booty" area. That's not the name but what I'm calling it. They have some fun machines for that. Nice little padded area for abs or kettle bell training. Where I'll be just nip picky about... They need to re cover a lot of machines. Cracked pleather on bare legs is uncomfortable. Again this isn't a make it or break it and far better than some of the gyms I've been to before. But if I had to say something negative, that would be it. If I'm in the area would love to workout there again.

I started going to this Perfect Workout Location pretty soon after it opened, and I have really…read moreenjoyed it from the standpoint of convenience and effectiveness. I used to go to a regular gym and workout on the Nautilus machines, but what I really lacked was the time that seemed to be required, and my interest fell off after years of being a bit of a "gym rat". Well, two knee replacements and 5 years later, I was experiencing a serious bout of out-of-shape-ness and was also suffering from a lack of energy and my metabolism had really fallen off from losing muscle over the years. At age 58, I was not ready to let myself go, but was not wanting to go back to the gym and do things on my own. I responded to a mailer about the Perfect Workout and signed up immediately, and wanted to commit myself to 6 months and see what happens. I KNEW I could do anything for 20 minutes, and once you get going, and don't spend too much time talking to the friendly trainers, then you can do it in 20 minutes, but your time is actually 30 minutes, so you are not really rushed at any time. The trainers there have all been great, and I've had to get to know at least 5 of them in the past year and a half as they come and go, but each time I have felt that they are ALL good and all pretty professional and seem to know the Perfect Workout technique more than adequately. And they are also there for you with lots of encouragement and also nutritional coaching if you would like. I gave this rating 4 out of 5 stars mainly because the studio itself is not what one might think of as a state-of-the-art facility right now. It is in an office park, but the machines are all clean and well maintained, as is the space. The air is always clean and fresh (thank goodness!) and again, I stress that the trainers there really make the most of the set up and the routine, and they are very organized about scheduling and following up with you. And also very reasonable and flexible when you need to adjust your appointment time. I've been going there for 20 months now and I have been very happy with the results. I have met my goals, and now am just going to maintain my muscle and fight middle age, all in 20 minutes twice a week. It's in a part of town with lots around, so I always get errands done while I'm over that way, because you don't have to dress in "gym clothes" to do this workout. Just sensible, comfortable clothes. What a godsend!! My energy is great now, and I went down two sized and lost about 20 pounds in these 20 months. (I also got REALLY careful about my eating, I have to be honest!!)
