I just canceled our membership, and I have to say this was the worst overall experience--both the service and the customer service. If you're looking for a headache or a reason not to go to the gym, this place will provide it. From the very beginning, things were handled poorly. When I signed up, my kids were added to the account and were supposed to be able to enter with either me or my wife. Every staff member I spoke with gave a different answer about how the account worked. Finally, Bryan, who said he was the manager, seemed almost eager to process the cancellation instead of trying to resolve anything. Truly disappointing service for a gym. read more

Women's sauna hasn't been working since Thanksgiving of 2024. Needs to be prioritized more and fixed faster. It's annoying to have to drive to further locations just to utilize their sauna. read more

I bought a two-month membership for 100 dollars and I thought the price was fair I don't understand why this place has such a low rating. I mean sure the membership can be cheaper, but the quality of their gym equipment is up to par. The manager of this building is a great guy. I only communicated with one person and that's all I needed. I have a three-gym membership in California and most of their management needs some work. The only downside of this place is that they do not have 35lb plates and they keep the heater on 24/7. read more

For starters, I love this location because it feels very clean... even in the shower and locker room area. It's a super convenient spot for me, too. The layout is not confusing like some gyms and it's easy to find the equipment you need. Most importantly, the staff is incredible. Everyone is so welcoming and nice. Cole helped my friend and I set up our memberships and he is so professional and kind. He made the whole process of joining super quick and easy - LAF, great job choosing your staff! I take my son with me to la fitness on the weekends I have him which is every other weekend and there is never an issue. My wife takes him with her and now won't let him and want to charge her to bring him and she has no other option but to bring him. The management there obviously has a communication break down of the rules there. I definitely miss going to 24hr fitness and I only go there is cause it's close to my house. read more

Been coming to this gym for almost two years and I love it. It went under a much needed renovation and the remodel now is great. this LA very clean and updated. I go to different LA's around the metroplex and this one is definitely top three. Mia the manager is always friendly and super helpful. Pretty average in terms of equipment. For example, a lot of the cable machine attachments are pretty worn down (especially the grips). The benches in the dumbbell area are weirdly proportioned and not the typical adjustable ones. Looks like some you would get at a garage sale. Everything else about the place is nice (good amount of cardio machines, ab workout machines, basketball gym, etc.). read more

Not for swimmers. Pool over chlorinated but main problem is people standing in the pool. I mean in all 3 lanes. Not walking, just standing. At first I thought they may be special needs but they're just rude. Folks, all of you can stand in the same lane, and walk in the same lane if needed. read more

Clean facilities, easy parking, lots of classes, wonderful, clean locker rooms, showers, and bathrooms, easy monthly payment. Customer service is sometimes lacking but when I have brought it to a managers attention, they have immediately fixed the problem. For the most part, the staff is friendly, and I have never felt harassed by the males working out there or unsafe, even when I was swimming laps by myself in the pool. You are a little bit on display though in the pool because there is a huge class window right by the entryway to the pool. You get a lot of "glimpses" from passers by, so make sure your swimsuits are cute, ladies! Also, I love the hot tub and sauna. They really help sooth my sore muscles after a workout. Lots of locations all over the US, cool music, and lots of choices for activities. read more

The staff ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. They have lots of tvs you can watch it you want and music on in the gym if you don't bring your own music. Love this place. read more

I have been a member for nearly 10 years. The staff is friendly, but more barbells and dumbbells are needed for peak times. 45 pound plates are left on machines, not allowing women to have equal access to equipment. The pool needs to be maintained better. I would not recommend using it at all. The water was cloudy this week, and odorous--not at all like the one pictured on this site. read more

Im an easy people, im less to complain something but i need to tell that ,I have been there for a while ,and i have my own coach through online then whenever i practice i must to got a camera for him so fix my form so that i can avoid my injure. But you know what? The receptionist,who's black guy, he doesn't know what i do and he thought i record pictures from everybody, i tried come to blaming me about policy bla bla bla. That's suck!!! He does not have evident to say that, in the begining when i register i remember i asked them a lot of it and they said yes i can . Now he came to complain me , i thought i come there for relax, for practice, improve my health, not for recieving any stupid complain or blame as long as i don't bother anyone. A young man walked into a fitness class and acted as if he was participating. As everyone was focused on the instructor, he perused the personal items left on the floor and helped himself to cell phones. He was ran off by members in the back of the class who saw what he was doing. He escaped by an awaiting car. When the front desk was asked who it was, they confessed he was not a member, probably someone from outside. They had not scanned him in, but had let him just walk in. In an effort to minimize the security breach, calm the class members, the front desk and managers of the center acted nonchalant, indifferent, and did not accept responsibility, or apologize to the violation of trust. read more

This place is not worth $40 a month, the equipment is so outdated and the whole atmosphere of the place is not very intriguing.

Great equipment selection. Some of the amenities could be better...no towels for members, wet clothes dryer has been broken for months. Some staff seems less than welcoming. I should feel like a guest, not a customer. Recommend, but they could do better. read more

Im not one of the blonde bimbo starvecones but I still feel kinda ok going here. I dont like the open floorplan though. Im not into the whole check out stuff and rather not have people, well.. men, staring away at the starvecones and lipos... but oh well. Luckily I am at a point where I dont give a crap anymore and eat food and look human, due to my favorite Nacho meals I need to frequent a gym lol So i guess its ok. All in all a solid gym. I come here on my lunch breaks to get away from my prying boss. Pros: super empty at lunch time. Nobody to get in the way. The sauna is always super hot and relaxing. Cons: the juice bar is Hella expensive and doesn't give enough option for people with varied monitory requirements...I'm broke. Music is kind of lame. read more

Gym is okay. They have everything you need to get a good workout but it doesn't seem very clean. People don't wipe off the equipment after using and there aren't any available stations for people to get wipes to clean it off with. Front desk staff usually seems annoyed when someone walks in. The personal training staff is always helpful and nice. read more

I've been going to the Little Road gym for about 2-3 years now. The location works because it's on my way home from work. For a year or so I was between here and the Grand Prairie location off I-20. The staff seems friendly and they are often having special events, celebrations or themed days that keep them and prospective members engaged. (i.e. 70s day, nerd day, member appreciation, vendors, family discount, live music, etc..) I come mostly for the classes but have also used the machines before committing to the classes. Two of my favorite classes and instructors are: Body Works + Abs (Laura) and Step Aerobics (Debbra). Debbra is a firecracker! Laura is the best! Both have been there for some time now and remain consistent. I also love kickboxing on Mondays - no matter the instructor. The good news is they recently gave Debbra this class so it's nonstop, great cardio full-body workout and great for the core. I'm glad I started coming to the Little Road location. I must say I miss Kim's Zumba at the GP gym but at least I can come here for other great workouts. read more

Heavy, Heavy Sales Pitch. I attended one Zumba class which was mediocre. Afterwards, "George" in sales wants me to sign on the dotted line, rambling that it's the last promotion day. Since the class hadn't sold me, I asked to at least 'try' the other group classes for the rest of the week. George said, "No, you've already activated your day pass." I didn't even have a tour of the gym?! Almost insulting. read more

This is a good location, if not the best. This is a one floor LA fitness as opposed to the 2 floor locations you will mostly see in the Dallas area. However it is not overcrowded and usually there isn't a long wait to use the Cardio equipment or the free weights. Racquetball courts are mostly available if you're on time, which my favorite thing about this place. In my experience LA fitness is a better alternative to 24hr fitness(at least in the Arlington area) read more

This was probably the worst gym experience I've ever had. I began my work out where the heavy bags are and about three minutes into my workout a Zumba instructor approached me and told me that I needed to wait to finish my workout because a class was starting soon. A different Zumba instructor then accosted me and put herself between me and the heavy bag, telling me to leave. I asked her twice to please not to touch me. Shortly there after a representative from the gym asked me to leave and then would not acknowledge my claim that the Zumba instructor accosted me. I decided to cancel my membership at that time. Even though I was a member I guess that doesn't mean I could use the equipment like everyone else. I felt discriminated against by the staff at this LA fitness. Run! I came to this gym a few days ago under a guest pass from my mom's membership. It was supposed to be a 2 week VIP pass and the gentleman tried to sell me a membership. I informed him that I was only in town for the week and I live in Florida. He then told me that since I was not a "prospective member" that I was unable to use the guest pass and that he could set me up with a membership since there are LA Fitness's in Florida. The closest one to me is 3 hours away and in a different state (I think 2 states over) He said I could use the facilities for the day since I was there but that was it. I was annoyed that if I had lied and said yeah I plan to join next week it wouldn't have been a problem. Overall decent enough gym in-spite of what the first impression was. The cardio machines (treadmills) all seemed like they needed some attention. The one I was on felt like it didn't have any shock absorption. read more

Great gym , I have a daughter which just turned one that I discovered was being pushed down by a 3 year old , on a regular basis , issue wasn't corrected after being brought up , they shouldn't be allowed in kids club , if you want your kids involved in underground fighting , this is your gym read more

The equipment is generally well maintained and easily accessible. The exercise area is kept pretty clean. Not so much for the locker rooms or the shower area. The locker rooms stink and smells like moldy carpet. I reported this to the manager, who seemed to have little interest in my complaint. When I told him that I may not be able to continue my membership unless them cleaned the locker room area, he said :Don't threaten me". I couldn't believe in this response to a regular customer. I was there for a couple of hours and observed that he didn't make a move to check out the men's locker room area to check it out. I'm going to give it a little more time hoping they do something about the cleanliness of the men's locker room and shower area. I have been a member for five years. If they don't get it cleaned up, I'm outta of there, threat or no threat. . read more
