We're traveling the country in our van and working out at every Planet Fitness we pass! They have more locations nationwide then any other gym so it makes it easy to workout almost everyday. This location was a good size with plenty of equipment, we never had to wait for a machine. It was very clean and the staff were actively cleaning when we were there (we spent two days at this location). Showers had great water pressure and hot water. We had a great workout and a great experience two days in a row. read more

Drove from Medford to Grants Pass (30 miles)this morning to meet with my father and enjoy a workout only to find out that nobody showed up to open the place. Hours say they open at 7am on Sundays and we arrived at 830am and waited around for about 10 minutes. There were about 10-12 other disappointed members waiting around as well. I suggest hiring more reliable staff. read more

As someone who has not stepped foot inside a gym in many years, I have to say I am really impressed with Planet Fitness!! First off, it's big, tons of machines so I never have to wait. If someone is on one machine there are several others I can use. All the machines look to be in excellent brand new condition and work perfectly. They have many training classes I can sign up for daily to learn stuff, and I think the lady that does the training is very nice! So far I've managed to take several classes and even come in to work out several times since joining a couple weeks ago, and so hey, that says a lot about how much I liked it! The massage chairs are wonderful! The people that work at the front desk are always friendly and smiling. Seriously, I am really glad I joined so I can take my health and fitness to the next level! Super happy its so close to my home too. And price wise, I personally think its fantastic for all you get! read more

Oregon and ALL the planet fitness locations. What a terrible experience. This kid called me stupid because I should not have signed the contract without reading tiny print from 2 months ago saying they will charge me $39 two months later unless I cancel by the 25th of the previous month. I explained to the girl that I was speaking to, not the kid that walked up behind her, that I will take it up with corporate as it wasn't her fault and this kid comes up when he is not even in the conversation and calls me stupid for not reading the contract and signing it. Then he would not shut up and kept going on and on and neither of the women at the counter were telling him to stop. I was shaking and had to call my wife because I have never been so insulted by a public customer service employee. This is the first and only review I have ever left! read more

Great place to work out and the massage chairs are wonderful. Water massages are even better but kinda hard to get the settings just right for either. Then number 2 tv doesn't work, but hey free pizza on the first Monday? Or was it the second? I don't remember. Also free fruit. But they didn't say anything about the contract that said if I cancel my membership early I pay double the price to get out By the way, there are signs EVERYWHERE that say no contract. But that is literally a contract right there. Also there are commercials that say it is 24/7, and there is a sign or sticker on the front window that says 24/7. This is a lie, as they close on friday and saturday night until morning time of the next day But I do like working out whenever I can read more

Terrible Gym, Terrible customer service. After speaking to the manager John, getting absolutely no resolution after being charged for services Im not even using nor care to use, after sending a letter of cancellation months prior because that is their policy for cancellation. The manager had the audacity to threaten to not even cancel my policy, even though they had the contract under the WRONG name (Which took about an hour to even find), but somehow thats my fault? Needless to say I will be speaking to the regional manager or corporate if I have to, no manager in position should have that kind of customer service. read more

Gym is clean and the staff, especially Marcus, is friendly, helpful and he remembers my name when I enter! I was a member of 24 HR fitness for 11 years and this Planet Fitness is much better. Especially during Coronavirus, the cleanliness is appreciated. I just wish they had a sauna. read more

Super nice gym and extremely reasonable . I see people complaining about a 39.00 fee once a year but for 10 bucks a month ,or 20 I don't see any negatives. It's very clean and the machines are all new and kept up well. Staff is friendly and the massage chairs and beds are great. The hours are fantastic. read more

Original Review 08/18/2020: They talk social distancing and sanitizing, but they don't walk the walk. My wife (over 70) is so frustrated that talking to the manager has not helped, that she is very close to giving up her membership for the sake of our continued health. Update 08/26/2020: My wife emailed Customer Service of Planet Fitness as suggested in their response, only to receive a stereotype request for the same details that she had provided in her email. Really, did they read her email? Since responding and politely pointing that out, she has had no further contact from Customer Service. Yesterday, she experienced the same issues at the Grants Pass Planet Fitness at 1555 Williams Highway. After bringing up the issues once more with the desk staff, she was verbally attacked by one or more of the non-compliant members. Clearly, our health is not important to Planet Fitness. Today, she resigned her membership and won't be back. Thanks to PF this is the first time in over 40 years that she does not have a gym membership. read more
