What a joke this place is! I called and he said it was free to come and workout to try the…read morefacility. I make the 15 minute walk there, sign the waiver and proceed to warm up. I am then stopped by a 125lb trainer, saying I cannot workout without one of the staff trainers, even advanced lifters cannot. He asked for me to stop warming up and wait 5 mins and he will "guide me through my workout" lol I was dumb founded...I have trained at numerous gyms all around the country and never ran into this before. I end up waiting close to 15 mins...I pack up and leave. This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard. Now I respect how their business is run...but would have been nice to have known on the phone...or when I signed the waiver.... what is the point of the waiver now? If I get hurt under his supervision, I should be able to hold him accountable..... Many lifters do not need guidance through workouts...let alone being "trained" by someone who does not even look like they lift...I would not take advice from any of the trainers there....look the part at least. Need to get a workout in??? Go elsewhere sad thing is, this "gym" is very well equipped...all goes to waste

PowerTrain is like OrangeTheory Fitness but PowerTrain offers more! You arrive for a 1 hour workout…read morethat is designed by the trainers at PowerTrain. It is a different workout each time, making sure you don't plateau. It's what all the fitness articles tell you to do but sometimes you need the push from elsewhere to make it happen...and Jenna and the other trainers at PowerTrain do just that! The difference from OT is that PowerTrain has a weight room that you can go to at a convenient time for you and do your own thing..or sign up for personal training classes. This is a bit costly but if you're regularly attending, you're getting what you pay for. GIve it a try!! A heart rate monitor is given to you on arrival and you watch your HR throughout class...making sure to stay in the green, orange or red zones to maximize your workout. Go! Have a great time!! Embrace the soreness...it feels so good :)

The instructors are full of energy, know what their doing, and were dedicated to helping me improve. The work out started with an active warm up, followed by strength training, then ended with a high intensity, hard hitting, as many reps as possible grind which was the perfect to quench that thirst to burn and let loose. 100% recommend it and will be back. Due to Covid and quarantining, we rejoined so our teenagers have an option for some physical activity since it's Rochester and it's too dang cold outside. They are doing health screenings and limiting the cardio equipment. Masks are required. The weight area was somewhat crowded and not as much social distancing there. But they have added more equipment from a few years ago.

Jenny is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING teacher, and a warm funny person! She clearly knows her craft and is an exceptional teacher. Her guidance is precise, encouraging, and easy to follow. Taking her class felt less like a formal workout and more like learning from a knowledgeable friend who genuinely wants you to succeed. I highly recommend this studio and especially her classes, and her as a person 1:1 teacher/instructor.

Extremely Disappointed - Poor Treatment from Instructors…read more I joined Club Pilates excited to continue my fitness journey with an additional workout option, but unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating and disheartening. Several instructors made rude, snide comments during classes, including things like "there's always one who can't catch on" or suggesting I should be in a lower-level class--before class even started. I'm still learning, but I expected to be supported, not shamed. I don't look like the stereotypical Pilates student, but I follow directions and show up ready to improve. I deserve respect--something I never had to question at places like Breathe Yoga or the YMCA. On top of that, my name has been consistently misspelled on my account despite repeated requests to fix it, which creates issues with my wellness reimbursements. I've tried to stick with it, even going out of my way to avoid certain instructors, but enough is enough. I've never felt so uncomfortable or disrespected at a fitness studio. I've asked to cancel my membership and request a refund for the last month. I'll be continuing my practice at places that value and uplift their members--not tear them down.
