World gym has different pricing plans which makes adding a second gym affordable if I keep both. This one is inside the Greeceridge Mall. It's bigger than I thought it would be as well. It's a bit dark and dingy on the inside but it's a gym so.... Staff was friendly enough giving me my key tag as I'd registered online. No tour was offered and I had to ask where the locker rooms were. I could have asked for a tour but just figured it out on my own. It's a large locker room area with locker room stuff. There is a sauna, showers, etc. Bring your own lock! Note: the carpets throughout the facility need replacing. They are in a sad state! There is ample equipment. Lots of cardio machines, free weight area, and weight machines. Bring your headphones and get to work. If you are new to weight training, I suggest working with a trainer until comfortable. The weight area needs more safety clips as I had to really search for some when lifting. A few of the cardio machines were in need of repair and none of them have their own TVs which should just be the standard at this point. But, it gets the job done!

The gym moved to a new location and I was unable to reach them by phone because they were open but didn't have any working phone lines established at the new location. Also, they had no internet or computer access to members information. I had to drive to the location to talk to someone about my membership. Also, The gym opened their new location without a dedicated woman's locker room or restrooms for women. They had created makeshift changing areas for women with a curtain type situation without lockers or showers available. Restrooms are in a different location as well. This means that you have to change in one area, use a bathroom in another area and have nowhere to secure your belongings as well as no shower. All the while male members had access to a complete locker room with showers and lockers. I talked to Jim the other day regarding women not having equal access to amenities that male members have. Female members are paying the same membership fees as male members while not having equal access to amenities that male members have. I inquired as to when a women's locker room and showers would be available. Jim told me that they don't have the funds for this construction to be done at this time. He could not give me a time frame as to when this construction would take place. Needless to say, I have canceled my membership. I also had to pay for two months that were left on my contract. Poor customer service and unequal access for female members.
