I wish there was a 0 star option! We moved away from a planet fitness so we drove back to our old town to cancel after paying 6 additional months with no service. They let me cancel but kept the 39$ yearly charge (that was charged yesterday for this coming year!!) I am livid that they are doing that. Pure corporate greed. This is a really nice gym and location to visit. The gym itself is highly clean - there are sanitizing stations , sprays, wipes , etc., literally all throughout the facility. Hygiene practices, surpassed by far, any other fitness center I've been to. Each encounter with a staff member was pleasant. They are very attentive and genuine in caring about the needs of their members. Special kudos to the young lady (blonde) at the desk during my initial visit & to employee, Ty Reynolds(?), - both exemplified true quality w/ their customer service and demeanor. Very impressed! The other gym goers are lovely. I didn't feel uncomfortable or judged while exercising. This is a huge factor for me - I would encourage anyone to try this gym out if this is essential for your physical well-being and care. I enjoyed the massage chair and water massage bed? A nice add-on to the membership price, for minimal fee. They also have tanning booths!!! I didn't have the chance to try them out, but I've heard from others how stoked they like this feature. Go Ty! Planet fitness is open 24/7 and has all the machines you need for a great workout! You can upgrade to their black card to bring a guest with you when you come. Black card holders can utilize the hydromassage bed and the tanning beds. I knocked off one star because they don't have a sauna, mist room, pool, or jacuzzi. I wouldn't mind paying more monthly to have these added amenities. Another reason I knocked off another star was because I didn't love that there are many cardio machines however only one machine each for leg/arm/ab machines. The many cardio machines stay empty so I wish they would have cut down on those and added at least 2 sets of each workout machine (which is what I am used to seeing at other gyms). However planet fitness has all the machines you need so it gets the job done at a super inexpensive price! read more

Wasn't able to cancel my Membership on the app. When I canceled today in person I was told I would be billed again on 1/17 because I canceled after the 10th. It's kinda hard to cancel when you have to do it in person and I live 1.5 hours away. Definitely won't ever be returning. read more

They had closed down in March due to Covid but reopened in July I do believe. I started going back in August and have been going ever since. Masks are required unless you are actively working out. On the app they have a crowd meter that you can check before you visit so that you can decide whether or not you want to go during that time. This has been a HUGE help. I almost always go when the crowd meter is at its lowest and it hasn't let me down yet. A few times it's been nearly empty and those have been the best workouts. For some of the machines (treadmills, ellipticals, etc.), they have it to where you can only use every other machine to promote distancing. Hand sanitizing stations are all throughout the gym and of course cleaning solution to clean off machines before and after use (nothing new there). They have modified hours instead of being open 24/7 now. Saturday's and Sunday's they're open 7a-7p and Monday-Friday they're open 5a-10p! read more

Great convenient location. Newly opened. All the equipment is modern and new. We usually go to the other locations but this if fresh and new. It's right near Academy Sports. They trainers at Planet Fitness are very helpful and focused on building a better body. You have your basic equipment to walk, bike, climb stairs and elliptical. Just no. Went in today to join and they were so rude and lackluster I just left. The boy at the front desk was so slow and slurred his words so badly that it took 15 minutes to even understand the packages. After I told him I wanted to join he said "ok download the app on your phone and join there" and then walked away. As I was standing at the counter trying to ask questions as I filled this out on my phone, a female employee told me to "go sit down or something". Seriously this place and the awful employees that make you feel like your bothering them is a complete joke. Went to ATC Fitness and joined. 100% Better. read more

Worst customer service. I've been going to planet for a few years and have always loved it. However, the employees have just gone downhill. The attitudes suck and they are very rude. Went in today to tan and i scanned my card and sat at the counter waiting to be helped (while two employees sat there eating popcorn and just staring at me). Finally one girl said in a very rude manner "you need help?" Uh, yea i need to tan. Had just drove 35 min to come here and forgot my eyewear for the tanning bed (that i don't use anyway). She tried to make me buy some for $60. I told her i wasn't paying $60 for something I'm not going to wear and explained that i didn't have mine this one time. She rolled her eyes at me and just stared at me without even saying a word. So i asked, "can i just go tan this one time? i just drove 35 min to come tan but I'm not spending $60 dollars for more goggles." Once again she just stared at me for 10-15 seconds before saying "you're not tanning without them, idc if you wear them or not." I said "you are very rude, where is the paper i fill out to cancel my membership?" And she got all smart-assy "oh here i can do it right here on my computer" with a smirk on her face.
