I've been to Planet Juice for many years even with owner changes, they stayed the same as I can remember. Next to Trader Joe's in San Rafael, they have a variety of smoothies, açaí bowls, and stuff to eat like hot dogs, bagel sandwiches, and others. The servers are nice and can make your order relatively fast. Their prices are fairly good and I'm happy that it's still around from my first time that I got a smoothie when I worked at Trader Joe's in 2001. read more

Got two drinks, the first smoothie came out fine. The second one wasn't right but the girl calling orders offered to reblend it for me real quick. The short portly gentleman that took my order then came over and started arguing that I had ordered my smoothies wrong and then proceeded to call me a b*tch in Spanish to his coworker clearly thinking I wouldn't understand, and then told her to reblend the smoothie anyway. He just made the whole exchange so hostile for no reason as his coworker had already offered to fix it. I've been going here for 2 years and can say it's the best smoothie place in Marin! The menu is wide from smoothies, bowls, juices, ice cream and bagels! (Im probably even missing something lol). It is a warm environment and great prices. As a local college student they offer a 10% discount! Nelson has helped me many times and is a hard worker along with the rest of the team. The reviews are not wrong. This place seriously has THE BEST smoothie's and I'm considered a smoothie snob, lol. The menu has something for everybody and trust me, it's hard to pick just one, with lots of interesting options. I myself, like to try the strange sounding concoctions, so I went with a Caramel Apple green smoothie. Organic apples, Ghirardelli Caramel, Organic spinach, frozen yogurt and ice. Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!!! I asked my hubby to try it. If I had told him there was spinach in it, there's no way he would have. He loved it more than his Peanut Butter Cup smoothie, which was good too, but I didn't think the banana went along with the flavors. It's probably a good thing Planet Juice is 45 minutes from home, or I'd be a regular. Next time I'm in San Rafael, I'll definitely stop by again. They started cutting the banana thinner than normal but I like it better. The incredibowl also should have blueberries but they might have run out but they always put a different fruit when that happens so i got blackberries instead which was still really good. Delicious options. First time here and was given great service from the lady with the "chingona" shirt. Loved the ambience in here. You can tell the employees are having fun while at work here. Passion smoothie was a bit tarte for my liking but its healthy so thats all that mattered to me. Love that they have breakfast sandwiches for the savory side if thats what you're looking for. Most of the were students from San Rafael high school kids. The line still moved pretty quickly. They have a great selection of smoothies, açaí bowls, fresh juices, snacks, ice cream and frozen yogurt. We ordered different types of frozen yogurt on a cone and it was delightful. When I finally got my hands on it I was excited to drink it, I was sucking up these non chewable things that were rock hard. It could have been a seed, not sure what it was. My husband got their new Storm Trooper smoothie and no joke - he said it might be the best smoothie he's ever had. It was certainly yummy!
