I've put off writing this review since June mostly because I'm selfish and I didn't want this delicious secret to get out. But then I knew how wrong it was to hide something so good. I was searching social media for a mobile cold sweet treat vendor to come out to our office. Man! Wherrrrre has this been all of my life!?! Goodness, you are doing yourself a huge disservice if you've not indulged. We called him up, scheduled the set up date and time, etc. He arrived with his gear and within no time was up and running ready for his first customer. We had about 50-60 employees come through that day. He was an awesome one man operation! We had six flavors to choose from and lemme tell ya, it was not easy and you'll wanna go back for seconds, and sneak thirds but your secret is safe with him. Get the spicy!! Oh mah gahhh. I gotta get myself to a street market so I can get me some more Lobos Ice Cream!

Lobos Ice Cream is notorious for having the BEST Mangonada in the Bay Area and this picture proves it. It's officially fire.

Notoriously known for their Mangonada, their signature Lobonada: Mango +Watermelon +Tajin +Chamoy + Lime is just as good! They have plenty of delicious flavors to choose from like Strawberry, Chocolate and Avocado ice cream!

So creamy! Perfect consistency. Refreshing. Avocado flavor? Yes please. I tried Lobo's at Avocado Con in the SoMa StrEat food park. He really put on a show and was so happy while serving us ice cream. I want to have as much passion as that man! He made us an avocadonada (a mangonada with avocado ice cream on top)! If I see Lobo's again, I will for sure buy myself a nice, fresh, hand-crafted scoop of ice cream. It's some of the best ice cream I've had.

Elvio is an ice cream artisan who cares about his craft and his customers. The explorative menu is a joy to taste. Try the horchata!!!

It's right behind Villas at Hamilton and in front of the Bay Trail - between hangars 6 and 7. PRODUCE There were just a couple produce booths - one smaller and one bigger (neither was organic from what I could tell) with many samples of berries and stone fruits. I got cherries for $6.50 a basket and "cosmetically imperfect" plums and nectarines for $1.50/lb. My mom got red onions, lettuce, and broccoli (3 veggies for $10) and squash (yellow and zucchini plus a bonus kind given to her). SPECIALTY FOODS There were a handful of specialty food vendors, including Heather Stuckenbroker (Marin Foodies member) with her famous rum cakes (we bought one original and one chocolate - $4 each), as well as an assortment of sweet and savory spreads. From the Butterbars booth, I bought was a Dulce de Leche Butterbar ($4) to bring home to my husband. I also sampled the Ube Cheese and it was very tasty. They have a deal where you can six (one of each flavor) for $16. Auntie O's was there (delicious baked goods), The Juicery, and a few others with savory offerings (Mexican and Middle Eastern), all or most of whom are also at the main Novato farmer's market on Tuesdays. FOOD TRUCKS We got lunch from the two food trucks on site. The first was Lotus Grill Vietnamese Cuisine - run by a delightful local couple. The fresh spring rolls with shrimp and noodles (2 for $7 is a deal) with peanut dipping sauce hit the spot. Next time, I want to try their other menu item - bahn mi sandwich. The other truck was Sojuilla415 - Korean Mexican fusion, so I got two street tacos ($4 each) with bulgogi (steak), which was very flavorful and medium spicy. Their bulgogi fries also sounded tempting ($10 on the reverse side of the specials board) and I'd like to get the Super Burrito. The Roli Roti rotisserie chicken truck was there also. OTHER TIPS If you have CalFresh, there is a booth to exchange Snap benefits for dollars/tokens and they give a $10 bonus. There was also a face painting booth by Party Faces (artist friend who is a pro) and live music - a one man band. Miscellaneous other merchandise booths were there as well - like one with handmade (I think) boutique baby clothes. In one adjacent hangar, a new cafe - Kitchen - has breakfast, lunch, and bakery items. In front of the opposite hangar, there is a large open area with many tables and chairs (some shaded), as well as a lawn. My mom and I enjoyed our lunch there. I hope the market will attract more vendors to match the amount of interested customers - the front parking lot (where the library used to be) was almost full around 11:30.

Definitely a good farmers market to visit. The vibe was very joyful and all sellers were very nice…read more There were 2-4 farmers selling, and a couple of food booths, honey booth, cheese booth, and some clothing booths too.

I had been to the block before about a few years earlier and remember it being lively and fun filled with a handful of food options and a packed bar. This time, the establishment was almost completely empty with only two food options: the barbecue or the pizza. Both menus were extremely limited in terms of available options. I went with the barbecue platter and my boyfriend went with two slices of pepperoni pizza. While the pizza was decent, but nothing to write home about, I would never order that barbecue platter again. First of all, the mac & cheese that it came with was more like overcooked buttered noodles without seasoning. The pulled pork and the coleslaw tasted old as if it had been sitting out at room temp. I also thought it was weird that they gave me potato chips as another side, but to eat their own. The only thing I actually enjoyed were the side of pickles and who knows if those were even made or from a jar. It was cold outside, so we decided to sit under the enclosed portion of the building and flies swarmed us - they were everywhere and we were continuously swatting our hands around to try to get any relief. It was miserable experience and as soon as we were done eating, we just wanted to leave. I can see why people were not here after the disappointment my boyfriend and I felt.

This is a shared outdoor event space with restaurants, bars, and stage for live music. There was a good amount of people there, probably gets busier during events. I asked the bar about the brewery and was told there was currently only one selection from them on tap which was disappointing. It wasn't the most comfortable place to enjoy a beer either. Even if there had been more to experience, I probably wouldn't have bothered going back. One other note, the restrooms are singles and with so many people there was a long wait to use one. I'd imagine that'd be worse when busy.
