    Edit- it's now 12/24 and I still haven't heard back- this is the worst customer service I have ever had, if they break something DO NOT EXPECT IT TO BE COMPENSATED. Instead, expect to be told you're lying. Remember this going in- while they probably won't break something on your car, they might, and if they do you will be screwed over like me- go somewhere else to avoid the risk. Merry Christmas from me, but definitely not from planet Kia.) I brought my Kia Rio 2018 in yesterday, 10/29, for recall service. While I was happy to find the job completed and my car cleaned, they broke my passenger side rear view mirror. Brandon informed me that they do not understand how it would've happened considered they "only worked on drivers side", but alas my mirror is still broken now after having my car serviced here. I was able to find a picture of my car with my mirror in tact this past Friday- it was a screenshot from a video. I was told by Brandon to email him the picture and video and explain what happened which I completed yesterday evening, as it would have to go through "higher ups". I haven't heard back yet. If I end up compensated or with a replaced mirror I will adjust this review, but until then they left me with the impression that they believe I am lying. They broke my mirror- it was in tact when I arrived. Pictures of both the broken mirror and the still from the video taken on Friday showing it in tact.

    Stay away from these morons. They botched my alignment (which I only had it done because they recommended it but now i'm doubting it) and are refusing to refund because I didn't return the day of the service. This is the last straw but let me list some of my experiences here: - They put wheel locks on my car after a tire rotation without telling me. I couldn't get a tire replaced at another shop when I had a nail it until I got my hands on a key. - Refused the carwash after noticing scratches after the first few times that I accepted. They did it anyways and destroyed my paint. - Went for the same recall/bulletin servicing twice (related to a specific noise) and both times it was not fixed. - After doing an inspection they left the battery cover on my engine instead of putting it back on... Can only imagine how negligent they are when they work inside of the cars. - To my point above, my car has developed weird sounds from the area of the car they have worked on previously. Like they forgot to put everything together before closing it back up. Going to find a new shop to verify this. I may be the bigger moron for keep coming back here so warranty would cover some services but I'd rather have a few apes work on my car or pay for all services without warranty than return here. Update: went to another shop in Charlotte and they confirmed the alignment was absolutely botched plus they left my rear camber ecentric so loose that they could undo it with their fingers... Michelle or whatever the name of the service manager was that immediately blamed me, go fuck yourself.

    I don't even want to give this Planet Kia a one-star rating. I have concluded that the management team at Planet Kia of Charlotte is morally bankrupt and incapable of running a reputable dealership. Helmi Felfel, President at Planet Automotive Group, must make money hand over fist to overlook the shady shenanigans under the roof of this worn and torn battleground-looking dealership. The management team will lie and manipulate to no end, behaving like bullies when called out for their unethical behavior. I grew up in a family that worked for some of the best names in the car business here in Charlotte, and I know what should be expected of a reputable dealership. In all my years of buying and leasing cars, this experience was, bar none, the absolute worst! Imagine having to call CMPD because the situation became so volatile with the general manager. Yes, that's precisely what I did. I also referred a friend before my experience imploded, and yes, you guessed it, that deal followed suit and blew up into another unethical, incompetent three-ring circus. Heed my warning and run as fast as you possibly can from this dealership. This city has too many other options to purchase or lease a vehicle. Customer retention is no longer the priority. I was told they could do some minor work, but would not budge an inch on the price because, "We price our cars to market and this is the lowest possible price we can sell the car at." Keep in mind, this is car has been on the lot for nearly 3 months as of today and over two months at the time I looked at it. Price when I went in was $15,750. Didn't buy the car. Two weeks later, price on website was $15,000. So apparently they could go down and did not want to. Now, as of today, the same car that has been on their lot for nearly three months is listed for $16,500. Where does this pricing come from? This car lot does not negotiate, treats their used cars like liquid gold without wanting to do repairs, and fluctuates their pricing like the stock market in a panic. Also, what car dealer tacks on $1,500 to the price of a car after it has been sitting on the lot for three months?? Solimar was very nice and pleasant. Great person! Business model is shady. Usually wasting a day on mind numbing exercises in futility. Enterprise was not any of these things. Paris was amazingly. We told him what we were looking for and he found a near perfect match in minutes. The next day (his day off) he drove to another Enterprise lot to clean, gas up and bring us the auto of our dreams. It took about an hour from start to finish and not once did I want too kill anyone. The manager and sale people were great and the experience as painless as such an endeavor could be. I then received a call on Friday 7/3 around 11:30am, and lost service as I answered the call but was able to hear the salesman state his name as Donovan. I received a disturbing text message as follows " I think we could have handled that a little more professionally. Hanging up on someone is not ok ". I'm not sure what would prompt a salesperson to reach out to a potential customer personally in that fashion, but it was quite rude, weird honestly and made me very uncomfortable. It was an extremely disheartening experience because I was truly interested in the vehicle.
