My technician is Sandy. She by far matches my request when I show her a picture. She fast and my nails stay on without lifting for about 5 weeks. Her artistry is great! It gets better each time she does my nails.

I usually go there for convenience (it's beside my house). But I regret every time! This is my nails the day after they did. I ALWAYS have to beg them to paint the corners and they clean it so poorly. I almost need to beg for them to clean it properly. Callus removal is also poor. Trust me, you don't want to go there.

How do I get checked out before even getting my feet done?! I literally just walked in, not even a greeting I hadn't even sat yet and still haven't. 16mins into my appointment I still haven't been sat, nobody is saying nothing to me, I had to keep asking how much longer when my I had an appointment. They say a lady that came after me when they could have been done that with me while I waited. Honestly I've given these my money for years but not anymore. I'm going to miss Alex and Timmy a lot but there's always better elsewhere. Planet nail bar... it was fun while it lasted but you guys need to work on your customer service skills! You're supposed to be all about hospitality if nobody told yall yet.

I have been a faithful customer seeing the same nail tech here.. no sooner than her going on maternity leave, it was down hill, this place is always packed and they will push you through like an assembly line, no regard to customer service, you will have a long wait and the service is poor. My experience was great at first but I think that has more to do with my tech vs the overall establishment. When the management changed so did the service.

Ive been here twice now. Pedicures... Both times they took that buffing tool and went too deep on the nail... and then ONTO MY ACTUAL TOE... cutting my skin. And then when i jerked back she got mad AT ME!! Manicure... i don't even know what i paid for. My nails look sick as in ILL

The staff was delightful and the facility was impeccable. They had ample seating- my sister and I went on a Thursday evening. Customer service was on point- ready with drinks and management circulating and being very attentive. The product of the services were okay, though- two shellac pedis and a shellac mani. They grinded down too far on the finger nails, making them Very fragile, but did her best for a clean finish. The pedicures needed a bit more time for callous removal- even after we both suggested it separately and never received. Color and shaping was rushed as well (Mine was still satisfactory- my sisters needed a little bit of touch-ups) Otherwise, the experience was good.

Terrible service!!! They don't like to do what you request. They will force their own way of how they want to do your nails and they take an EXTREMELY long time! It took over 3 hours for the nail tech to give me a basic polish. I asked for a ombré chrome tip and she didn't understand what I wanted and started doing whatever she wanted. I told her to just take the whole thing off and give me a basic polish, since that's all she knew how to do. They gave me a nail tech that didn't know how to designs when I had requested designs for my nails. Very unprofessional with service. This was my favorite place for years! However, I think this will be my last time going to them, because it's not worth gambling time or money just to not get what you paid for.

This nail shop is the most unorganized nail shop I have ever been to. When I came in I initially told them that I wanted to get my daughter who is seven and my nails done. I verified that they would do her nails as well and they said it was possible to do it. Then they kept passing her over to do other people's nails done that came way after me and my daughter. Keep in mind that they were doing my nails and we came at the same time. I literally had to pester them countless times about if they would do my daughter's nails and they kept saying yes we will. Honestly they are super unorganized and don't know how to communicate at all. I been before and had issues and only came back because my cousin asked me to. I'm definitely never coming back here again. The lady who did my nails was very nice and was very apologetic about this whole ordeal. Management here honestly is so horrible! End of story we both got our toes done but they did a mediocre job! read more

This was my first time trying this place. I decided to come here because it was close to my home. I came at 9am and had service immediately . Linda did my pedi and peter did a mani. He talked me into getting the dip powder and I absolutely love it on my natural nails!! Linda pays close attention to detail and my toes came out perfect. Facility was clean and well staffed . Service was great I'll be back! read more

OMG, I can't believe I waited to come here! I'm a bit of a nail snob when it comes to getting pedicures (I always like to make sure the facility and nail tools are well maintained and clean at all times). I was greeted immediately and treated like I was important. I had to wait for 15-20 mins, but I did not mind because I got to sit in their whole body massage chair and was given a Frappuccino while I waited. Frappe was delicious, just as good as Starbucks and the massage chair was so relaxing!!! I went from a sour mood to a very happy mood. Staff is so friendly and I received a awesome volcano pedicure. I can't wait to come back! Did I mention I got an egg roll and some snacks while I was getting my pedi?! Haha, that too was delicious! My technician, Lana, listened to what I wanted and was amazing. UPDATE... Came back again, made a appointment at 12pm with same lady, and they forgot about my appointment. Waited 40 mins and decided to walk out. Very nice people, but they need better organization. 2/27/20 This is the 3rd or 4th time I've requested a particular nail tech to do my nails, and each time management has lied about about my appointment time. I'm so sick of them making an appointment, just for me to wait 30+ mins. I walked out today AGAIN, and will never come back. Nail techs are great, management guy sucks. read more

Fabulous experience at this nail salon! I loved the staff here, they really seemed to care about their clients. Unfortunately, after just one day my dip manicure chipped... I do not do any hard labor or anything for this to be acceptable after just one day. $40 is too much for 1 day of a manicure that is supposed to last weeks. read more

I love this place I been going here for about a year in a half but when I went today there prices went up. I got a full set which used to be 36 dollars with powder it was 53 dollars today for a simple color . I don't mind paying but it's the fact that on there websites the prices are the same old one but now I know the prices now other than that they do a amazing job on nails. read more

My friends and I were looking for a place that would take 4 last minute pedicures and manicures. This place was able to get chairs ready for us in 30minutes. Everyone was so nice. The place is quite spacious and clean. The drinks are complimentary and they had a good variety. The massage chairs are spaced well apart from each other where you don't feel crowded but can still talk to your friends without screaming at each other. Nina did my pedicure and she was gentle removing all my dead skin and callouses. She was really sweet. Ken did my nails and he is super talented. His attention to detail is amazing. I showed him a complicated picture and he went above and beyond. He hand painted the designs free style. The design looks like a sticker or stencil. It's unbelievable and unreal how beautiful it looks. I found my new nail bar and my friends loved their techs too. Definitely will be coming back. read more

Great service! My mom and I were given complimentary drinks and food. I got a margarita and was able to get a little buzz. My mom's Frappuccino was also pretty good. This is the first nail salon I've been to where they offer complimentary egg rolls and pretzels and they were actually yummy. We were helped right away, only because I scheduled an appointment prior. I noticed a few people were waiting over 20-30 mins while I was there. I got a pedicure, but the nail technician cut my toe nails waaaay too short. I asked her to trim my nails and now they just look stubby. Wasn't a fan. Besides that, it's a beautiful nail salon and the prices are great!!! read more

Came here last week and the shellac was already coming off 6 days later...So I came today to get one nail fixed. I came in first and 2 ppl came in after me and got helped before me... I sat for a total of 40 min before they started. Then i had the lady rushing to do just one nail..This is the end result you can clearly see the streaks of shallac on my index finger bc of how careless & rushed she was.. this is very disappointing to get this type of service for a new customer read more

I decided to go to this nail bar because it was next door to the restaurant I go to for breakfast on Saturday mornings and I thought it would be a nice addition to my weekend routine. I generally get a dip and manicure every two to three weeks. On my first visit there, I asked for a dip and manicure. I was there for TWO HOURS, dip only, no manicure. The nail tech was heavy on the drill which I had to ask her to layoff (in a nice way) a few times. The end result was a subpar job with inconsistencies in thickness and shape. It would do, but it wasn't the quality of work I was used to. I always try to give businesses a second chance because everyone is entitled to a bad day. Within a few days, the dip overlay started separating from my nails. On my left hand, one nail completely broke and another the drop had chipped off. I found myself back at the nail shop in less than 10 days! Not cool! On my second visit, I made the same request, dip and manicure. I told the nail tech about the issues I was having with my nails; particularly with how they were breaking and chipping so soon. She blew me off saying it was because I used that hand (the left one) more than the other...I'm right handed. As we prepared for my new dip set, I noticed deep grooves in my nail beds. Damage from overusing the drill. I pointed that out to the nail tech and asked that she use the drill only if absolutley necessary because my nails would be too sensitive and I wanted to avoid any other damage. I had to continue to make this request over and over again. Again, two hours, no manicure, chopped up cuticles, and inconsistencies in the thickness of the dip. For they money they I spent, they could have at least offered me some lotion! Not even two weeks later,I have not one but three broken nails (on both hands!). The chrome overlay I got on two nails came off after three days. My nails started separating again and the top coat started peeling almost immediately. I will not be returning. read more

If you actually care about how your feet look and feel do not come here for a pedicure. They will rush you, clip too much skin, and have you leave with your feet more crusty and dusty than they were before you got there. This nail shop for older women that don't care not young bad b*tches that like their feet sucked on. read more

They baited me in with good service the first few times but the times after that--they have been rude or despondent. The main guy in the front acts clueless, the ladies that they have doing lashes are using hair bonding glue as adhesive. Plus they serve rott gut liquor in those so-called "drinks" they offer. They are nice to minority clientele until their clientele is built and then hasta la vista to friendly service for a minority client. Save your money and go anywhere else. Plus they use cheap powder for acrylic applications read more

I was excited to try out this place... But the lady that did my nails was in a rush! I had to tell her to slow down more than 5 times because she kept hurting my toe nails. The Shellac on my hands has bumps. Overall didnt enjoy my experience like I was looking forward to. read more

I was UNIMPRESSED. It is a super nice salon but the way the nails are done is not up to par. I am used to my nails being done pretty thin with a snatched shape. I went in yesterday for a refill/color change and my nails are just atrocious. They are so thick and when I asked for them to be made thinner I was told no because they were thin enough. The nail shape is so fat/wide I am already ready to have them off. My pinky nail is so much longer than the rest of my nails and I asked for them to be shaved down but she basically left it the same. I am going to have to reshape the nails on my own at home. I was charged $40 and by no means was it a $40 job. I have given this place quiet a few chances because I really really wanted to like it but I would not recommend. read more

I've been going to this nail salon for a year and lately they have been getting sloppy. I had an issue with my nails they were just too thick for powder and they were stuck on my cuticles. I went back and they got fixed. The next time I came the powder literally was falling off about 5 nails it was a week and a half. I went back to redo did I get a discount not at all. Then I got them done again so a pedicure. Never have I had my nails so ugly. My fingernails are just ridiculous. It's been 4 days and of course my nails are growing but the shape of how they ppl the powder on is just ugly it looks like a 5 year old did my nails. Mind you I had a manicure with my dip nails. My toes are not completely polished. They rushed my pedicure do to being busy. I'm so unhappy with this place now. read more

I get my eye lash extensions from Linda at planet nail bar and I honestly never would consider getting them done by anyone else!!! She is gentle when applying the lashes, creates a natural style and has AMAZING customer service. She definitely rolls out the red carpet for her customers and I would recommend getting your lashes done by Linda. Absolutely loved her, her services and my lashes !!! To say I'm disappointed is an understatement... this nail salon has gotten increasingly worse over the last year and I'm afraid I won't be going back. There's a nail salon on every corner on this side of town and even though I've gone to Planet Nail since they opened... they don't deserve my loyalty or recommendation any longer. The polish they offer is old and tired. The techs could use some ongoing education. I get the same thing every time I go and it's almost always a different price.... Not to mention, if you find a tech that does a good job - odds are that tech won't be there the next time you go and ask for them. The previous owner was MUCH MUCH BETTER and customers could tell he appreciated their patronage. Don't try to go on weekends either because the restaurant next door is always packed and there will be no parking available. I recommend looking elsewhere for a quality manicure/pedicure. read more

The service is nice and the interior is beautiful i paid $45 for my acrylic pedicure which honestly isn't bad considering it's a high class salon w a open bar but the nail tech didn't even bother scraping my dead skin off or anything she went straight to the the predictive and I was so confused on why they skip the most important step read more

I have used Planet Nail Bar for about 3 years. Their services have definitely gone downhill. I get a pedicure about every 2-3 months. The last 2 times my cuticles were cut back too much and bled. Today I had a male customer back over my foot, almost knocking me down, this destroyed the nail polish, ripped the rubber foot shoe and left a big bruise on my left foot. The gal fixed the nail polish, although not to my liking because she was rushing. It is still a bit smudged. I spoke to the gal and guy at the front desk and told them about my experience of getting hurt in their salon, and they did not care at all. I showed them the bruise, and they said since it was a customer they were not responsible. I asked for compensation and they both emphatically said NO!. To me this is very poor customer service. I will not be going back. read more

I went to this salon for a pedicure and refill 12/4/22. During my pedicure the nail tech cut one of my toes very deeply! I started to bleed she continued the service I told her multiple times that it still hurt and she instructed me to put my foot back in the water. When I got up I wanted to speak to the manager about what info I could be given since I was injured during my service I was told they wouldn't give me any information and that all they would be able to do is give me was $5 off. I said no that's not good enough as my toe continued to bleed. They proceeded to call the police on me! I was never given any information about insurance etc. I was treated horribly!! After about an hour and no police they took the pedicure off and still Made me pay for she shellac. They still refused to give me any info about insurance 3 days later it still hurts! I've been coming here for over 2 years and the new management is awful! Save yourself some time and go somewhere else!! The nail tech is Nicky. After reading the reviews I see she has cut other people as well!! read more

Standard prices, subpar quality, customer service could be better. Got the Deluxe spa pedi with shellac and dip nails for $83. Pedi was straight, but dip nails were horrible. I believe her name was Jenny that did the dip she was not focused and lacked concern about the quality of her work skipped over visible mistakes and tried to hide them with buffing and polish. Was my first time here won't be going back. read more

If not taken already, they will offer you to wait for your turn in an all body massage chair. I have been a loyal customer of Planet Nail Bar for over nine years, but I can no longer recommend this salon. They used to provide quality service, but lately their practices have changed for the worse. They now aggressively upsell add-ons without properly disclosing the costs to customers. I personally just love going to planet nail bar everyone is so friendly, they always treat you so nicely. One of my favorite person there is Linda she always does my lashes and I wouldn't have anyone else do it. She takes her time and is extremely detailed her end result is amazing. I decided to check this place for the first time, it's really close to me and I had not noticed it…read morebefore. Came in around 11 on Friday and there were more nail techs than customers (good sign). I was greeted warmly and asked what services I wanted; I needed a shellac manicure for my daughter, basic manicure and pedicure for myself. They promptly took me to the spa and sat my daughter at station and began working on us. While my pedicure was getting started a gentleman, whom i presume, is an owner/manager began my manicure. I appreciated that because I could finish up at the same time as my daughter. I did not get the gentleman's name but he was friendly and we had a great conversation about the area, he offered Vietnamese food options to try in the local vicinity, it was an altogether pleasant and organic conversation. Right before they began on my toes I had an emergency call and had to leave without getting my toes painted. They were so understanding and accommodating, and told me to come back when it was sorted. I came back the next morning about 30 mins after they opened, and they remembered and had me in and out within 20 minutes. I appreciated their customer service and was pleased with the results. I'll be returning definitely.

I needed a quick polish change and Genova happened to be next door from the wax salon. It used to…read morebe a Nails of America that was rebranded it seems. I was greeted warmly by the staff, who walked me over to a seat. The salon was very clean and spacious. The polish change took all of 15 minutes and cost around $12. I was glad it wasn't anything more as most places charge upwards of $15. I remember back in the day polish change was $8-$10. Ugh. I despise how expensive everything is nowadays, especially maintenance related.

Unfortunately, I received a nail bed infection from my mani here last week. This was the last straw…read morein an increasingly dissatisfied slip for me since becoming Genova. I've been coming here for several years off and on and usually leave happy, but as if the infection wasn't bad enough.... The customer service has really gone downhill. It appears a bit messy up at the front & crowded at the desk with girls just hanging out. Their technicians (never the same) seem unsure& timid, and there is usually a lack of communication between the front desk and the technician that I have to clarify repeatedly, even though the only thing I ever get is a simple, classic mani no polish, buff and go; and maybe a basic gel pedicure. The prices also went up by at least $10 a service overnight, once the name switched. Previously, I had a $100 gift card from NOA that they would not honor. Why not? I understand ownership changed, but to not honor past gift cards for longer doesn't bode well for established clients. Another time, back in May , I was told the wait would be over 45 minutes for a mani, even though that area appeared completely empty. Ok - so I walked back out and across the street to Blush Salon and got a lovely manicure right away. I don't expect I'll be returning to Genova any time soon.

The owner then proceeded to say that she is the new owner and doesnt have access to the app so because of that they wouldnt honor my appointment. I'm honestly thankful for that because I was already getting bad vibes and didnt want to get my nails done there but I didnt want to cancel on my end and be charged the cancellation fee. My appointment was set for 9am which is when they opened, and no one was there until 9:15am anyways. Overall bad experience.
