A semi hidden but convenient Planet Smoothie over near Howell Branch. I've driven by more times than I can count but never associated this corner with smoothies. Stopped by and got the bubble trouble where they put mango boba in the drink. This was my second Bubble Trouble recently and had more strawberries which I liked, but the overall mango flavor was stronger in the first. Yummmmyyyyyyyy! Definitely a summer time treat! I do wish the ingredients were more fresh/organic/local. Even the light smoothies have a LOT of calories, carbs and sugar. The only problem is that I can't tell if the sugar is coming purely from the fruits (which I am ok with) or if there's additional unnecessary sugar. Never a bad smoothie though! It feels weird writing a review for a smoothie place. I'm not sure why. It's legit, right? I mean, I once wrote a review for a friggin' Taco Bell. Because, well, damnit, we need more reviews out there so people KNOW! Sometimes on my way to work, I pass this location. It only happens if I have to take our son to child care (my wife normally does it). It's super out of the way of my normal route. However, the good thing is, if I was rushing out of the house and didn't get a chance to scarf down my homemade smoothie, I can hop in here! The place is small - duh, you probably knew that. It's always really clean. Usually I'm the only one there. Sometimes there will be one other person. I like it because I can get in and get out. I always get the same damn thing though: Planet Pro Lite, Medium, with strawberries and peanut butter. It tastes - at least to me - like a liquid PB&J and I LOVE that! But, I recognize that I may need to mix it up. They have some new offerings that sound pretty yummy. But, to be fair, I'll probably only get something that has PB in it. That's just my jam. Or, maybe coffee. Yeah, I'd get a coffee smoothie. Two birds one stone. Anyhoo, the staff is always young. Usually a teenage/early 20s male. And while the cynic in me WANTS to hate them and their terrible taste in music, I can't! They are always so genuinely nice/friendly and polite! And their music choices aren't that bad really. OK, they are,but I let it slide because they are so nice! Anyway, if you happen to be in the area, shoot them some love/business. It's a chain. I know. Boo! but they do a good job! read more

I'm saddened to see them change the policy of bringing your own protein powder in- I understand if it's similar to something they can sell, but I have severe allergies to dairy so I can't have their whey protein powder. This Planet Smoothie is on my way to work and I was hoping to make it a daily stop for a smoothie after the gym but I guess I'll just be making them at home now. Boo. I like this PS. I just don't see how it survives tucked in the corner behind the Starbucks ‍. The (only) girl in the shop seemed pretty blah (probably bored out of her mind) but she knew what she was doing. The service was fast the smoothie was delicious. I will sacrifice an overly friendly clerk for fast, accurate service. All in all I was pleased and will be back soon read more

This planet smoothie is tucked away behind the Starbucks at the corner or howell branch and SR 436. It's clean and the lady that helped me today was friendly, she spoke a little strange but I could understand her. At this store they do not keep the straws and napkins out, you have to ask for them. But they do have a HUGE tip jar with a neon sign on it. LOL My smoothie was great and now I know if I want a smoothie and I'm around here I will stop on by. read more

Love the smoothies but the two blonde girls at the front are so rude. Y'all ask for tips but the associates don't even speak to the customers? Every single time I have gone in which is pretty often both girls just look at me and wait for me to order. Not two words spoken to me. I'll keep coming in and continue not tipping y'all. You'd think that most people are able to gauge what is/isn't an appropriate container & method for carrying 3 giant smoothies. Went there & was given some tiny, ghetto, flimsy tray to hold 3 "medium" sized smoothies. It's not that hard to guess what happened as I walked them out. Plop. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars rather than 1, is because someone at least came out to help clean off the mess that was made. But other than that, no offer to make a new one. This could have been avoided had a bag been given to hold those towers. A $22 order & a third of it went straight towards the concrete. Do better. read more

Every time I visit, the staff is pleasant and very fast at what they do. My favorite is the Strawberry Aphrodite, simple and delicious. The portion sizes and prices are fair, and they've got a good rewards program. They sell a lot of snacks too, in case a smoothie isn't enough to fill you up. read more

Horrible customer service. Came to this location on a Monday, 11/14/16 at 9:09pm & they store employee had locked the door amd waved me off when I tried to enter. Two other people arrived at the same time as me and were also turned away. The store hours on google as well as on their front door list the closing time as 10pm. This was an extreme inconvenience and I will not be returning here. read more
