There is a self-service drink and condiment bar that has sauces like ketchup, honey mustard, and ranch or, as it is humorously labeled here, "fat girl ketchup." Lol. I've visited Plant Bae a few times years ago after their initial opening. I was excited to try their brunch special today. While the restaurant is compact, they offer both indoor and limited outdoor seating. The two young ladies behind the register were friendly during my visit. I opted for the Big Malc, Fries, French Toast Sticks, Plant Bae Burger, and a lemonade. However, I was disappointed to find that the fries, priced at $4 and not included with the burger, were of a lower quality brand (Great Value). This visit was notably different from my previous experiences, with the food quality falling short. Typically, vegan food leaves me feeling energized, light, and content, but this time was the opposite. The Big Malc Burger had numerous issues: the consistency was off causing the black bean patty fall apart, it lacked proper shaping, and was extremely thin. The fries were dry and lacked seasoning, and the French toast was mediocre. The Plant Bae Burger was missing the pickle and the burger was dry! This disappointing meal, especially after traveling out of my way, was a regrettable waste of $45. read more

Unbelievably good, I came to Montgomery as a visitor not expecting to find any vegan options, but found Plant Bae and was blown away! I have eaten at some of the best plant based restaurants in the country, and am a vegan home cook, and was extremely impressed with Plant Bae's offerings, it is on par with the best of the best. All the food is nutritious, and there is an educational component to the restaurant that offers customers both vegan and not information on living a plant based lifestyle and the benefits of this lifestyle. We had a sweet potato smoothie with sea moss, sweet potato fries, superfood salad, and a burger, holy cow! Left feeling light and energized. So glad that this place exists here for the community of Montgomery! Will absolutely be stopping back here next time I am in town, I would love to see them open restaurants around the state! read more
