Reasonable Price and Great haircuts. I go to a guy named Dee, but everyone one in there is good.

My barber is soooo good I had to show him(Jonathan IG: @FlossyJ) some and share him with the . He keeps me fresh every 2 weeks. He is detailed oriented, professional, maintains clean clippers, and he takes direction well. I've been his client for about 6 months and I've never had any complaints about his work. This barbershop absolutely ruined my hair. I came in for a second cut (after having a previous history of maintaining cut hair). I came in after seeing Jonathan's (flossyj) positive reviews and "incorrectly" believed he was skilled so made an appointment. I arrived and explained to him exactly what I was looking for and showed him this inspiration photo. I emphasized that I didn't want any of my skin showing through, did not want any taper, and did not want my hairline manipulated. (Basically even all around with a #4 guard which should have been ridiculously easy). I overly emphasized that I did not want a masculine cut, and referenced some of his previously posted cuts on women that had the appeal I was looking for. During the cut, I told him it was wayyy shorter than I requested and his response was "I know, but it'll grow into the style you were asking for" What?! I initially was going to comment that although the style was completely wrong, the skill was okay but even that was wrong. I asked for no taper in the back but to round out those little "v's" on the back of my neck...he shifted the back of my hairline up almost an inch. My hair is uneven in some sections and I thought my hair had some bald spots but after a few days realized that was part of his scissor work. And I cannot 100% confirm but since I've gotten my hair cut here, my scalp has been itchy and tender. I cannot stress enough how much I regret going here and paying. So I'm the first one to write a review about this establishment, eh?? Great!!! Well, I got my hair cut today by Ajene. He was awesome and so nice. I think I prefer the barbershop rather than the salon. I prefer to get my haircut rather than getting a weave. The storytelling that these barbers tell is beyond hilarious. My haircut came out nice. I loved it. Ajene did a wonderful job to my hair. I loved it. I left feeling so liberated. I loved this barbershop. I am a fan. And I will come back. For $28 I expect my hair cut to be great, lineup to be done with a razor and bald fade to be cleaned up with a razor as well.. the barber I went to(Big dre) had plastic guards on his clippers.. the haircut I got was worth $15.. extremely disappointed. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have two boys that I've been taking to Platinum for years. Greg and John are amazing barbers. We have tried other barbers close to home and no one stands up to Platinum. The wait is pretty long though but I have found out that the wait is well worth it. read more

If your time is valuable and you count on barbers staying true to the appointments they make then this is most likely not the shop for you. I made an appointment with Dave and when I got to the shop, another barber told me "He won't be back for awhile, he had to step out." No phone call from Dave giving me a heads up or anything. so i called thee shop and spoke to someone on the phone. give them an eta of what time i will be arriving this was my 1st time at this barber.I show up there were 3 barbers and the 3 customers. one barber was just finishing up.. long story short.. i was just sitting there no even ask to give me a cut. i and people were coming and and out so i got up and left. they at least could've said i have someone before you while we were on the phone.
