I haven't even had a haircut here, but I need to post this so y'all know: this place is always closed. Their hours say 9am to 7pm. I'm here at 11am, and it's closed. While sitting in my car and trying to call for an appointment, I see some lady unlock the door and go in, then come out ten seconds later and lock the door. It's like they're not even trying. I've tried to come here about three times during their posted business hours; they're always closed, no matter the time. So when I call to try to make an appointment, there's never an answer; just goes to voicemail, I leave a message, no callback. Unprofessional. Avoid. read more

I've been getting a haircut from Cynthia for the last 13 years ever since my brother introduced me to her. I even take my two boys when they need haircuts! It's best to call and make an appointment to avoid waiting. Since taking over the barber shop, Cynthia has remolded it with new chairs, cabinets, glass mirrors, new paint and even updated the bathroom! The ambiance changes as they play music throughout the shop or movies on the many TV's. I'm extremely grateful to have call her my barber! I can't see myself going anywhere else. read more

Cool atmosphere but new guy just can't cut a straight line to save his life... Now i have to cut off my beard and regrow... I just moved right around the corner from this place , so I decided to check it out. I have no idea what the first guy reviewing this place was talking about. I have been here on two separate occasions & both times the barbers couldn't be nicer. One of the barbers even has this old-school neck massage machine he uses when he's done. Their prices are competitive with neighboring shops & the place is tiny but kept clean. I even took my brother-in-law from out of town & he left with a huge smile. Do yourself a favor & drop in. Bad experience can't follow simple directions or they don't know how to cut hair, regret going wouldn't recommend anyone to go.

Got a bad vibe from the moment i walked in. No one looked up or acknowledge me for like 20 minutes. The dude at the front kept dogging me like i owed him money or something. I think i would have walked out without a haircut if it wasn't for dude who walked in for his shift. I think his name was George, dude was pretty cool and asked if i wanted a haircut as soon as he walked in. i told him how i wanted my hair cut but ended up with something completely different. This is a bad barbershop. The service is bad and the cuts are bad. If you're waiting there and one of the barbers friends come in they will cut their friends hair first. I got my hair cut by Kevin or Kev. He gave me a line up on the sides even though I didn't ask for it and he did a shitty job. Talk about not knowing how to line up. Overall this is a bad shop and it's expensive. There's one on inglewood and Manhattan beach for $12 and they cut better. I just went to hookitup because it was closer but never again!! read more

Used to be one of my favorite places to get my haircut. Recently came in for my usual haircut, I waited a little over an hour for a lady that cuts my hair. Normally that isn't a problem, but she let a guy who came way after me get their hair cut first. she also had the nerve to send me off to someone else who was already with a customer which upset me because she knows I have been going to her for years. They also do whatever they want. They blasted music so loud you couldn't even hear the clippers. And she randomly left a costumer to dance with the guy that went before me. Horrific experience... My barber had a bad attitude and was literally pushing, pulling and hitting my head with the clippers. He would brush my hair and continue the comb scratching my forehead and eyes. I asked for a razor fade, which I now regret because he literally cut the back up my head in fours places in which the bleeding wouldn't stop. He then looked me in my eyes and then told me he was "heavy handed". Everyone else in the barbershop was looking at the back of my bleeding head in disbelief. I couldn't get the barbers name but he was African American, 5'8", 170 pds with short black hair. Avoid this place at all costs. I hope I don't get an infection from all the dirty clippers/blades that made contact with my bloody head. I hardly ever write reviews too but people need to be aware of this place. read more

Horrendous service. I asked for a faux hawk (mind you, I repeatedly said 'YOU'RE NOT GOING TO CUT IT TOO SHORT RIGHT?') and he insisted that he wasn't going to cut it short. Next thing you know, I'm highly disappointed and was just ready to pay. When I asked how much did the hair cut cost, he said $20 for a faux hawk!!! Absolutely never again will I come to this shop, and never the less would ever recommend it to anyone! read more

took my son for a hair cut loved the fact that they are VERY CLEAN! Didn't have an appointment and didn't have to wait long. They had plenty of barbers and all work in a professional manner. Highly recommend this shop. read more
