They came out to do exposed aggregate concrete work at my home, and somehow managed to match my existing 20-year-old concrete almost perfectly. The finished work blends in beautifully, which I honestly didn't think would be possible given the age of the original concrete. What impressed me even more was their commitment to making sure I was completely satisfied. After part of the work had already been completed, I requested a change. Even though it meant additional work, David was incredibly accommodating. He came back, tore out a portion of the newly poured concrete and redid it for me -- at no additional charge. That level of customer service and commitment to making a customer happy is extremely rare these days. David was an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end. It looks great, and his team were professional and friendly. Everything was on time and early. The work and materials are high quality to last a long time, worth the value. They didn't try to cut corners. He gave me instructions to water the concrete to prevent cracks and included a stabilizer, which is something previous contractors did not do (one of our other concrete pads cracked all over pretty soon after). We used a Sierra base color with a Desert Tan release color and a sealer that gave it the brown / tan finish I was looking for. I will definitely be using their services again!

Ease of quoting process Before coming out in person, they were able to give us a ballpark price based on dimensions, fence type, and site images. This allowed me to decide whether to move forward and I thought this was really respectful of my time. Then, Dago, the owner, came for the site visit and to discuss details. 2. No bait and switch In ironing out the details, there was some miscommunication about whether staining was included. Dago was able to meet us halfway with the price increase. This honest business style continued throughout the project and no change orders or unexpected price increases happened. 3. Detail oriented Throughout the project, we discussed details such as fence posts placement relative to tree roots, post height, etc. Dago was both available in person and by email via his assistant Maria. It was also nice to have responses confirmed in writing so that things were clear and there would be no bait and switch. 4. Personality Dago is a really nice person and I enjoy speaking with his about his geriatric dogs, etc. This also helped me not feel anxious about the project, because I felt that I could trust him. After the pavers were installed, I noticed something not to my preference with the paver layout. I contacted Nick, our site manager from NAB, and he was very responsive, and arranged for Nate (the company president) to come out right away and discuss the matter, which was resolved that same day to my complete satisfaction. Nick also was happy to arrange for a few other small tasks related to bricks and concrete on our property to be taken care of, and they were - at no added cost. NAB construction was not the lowest bid we got for this work, but I have learned the hard way that going with the lowest price is not always a great idea, and I am glad I went with NAB for this project.
