Did I mention they carry extended sizes through 4x, petites and more? That's super impressive! I've never consigned there, but I'm continually impressed with the quality of the clothes, designer options and incredible prices. I spoke to Lisa, the owner, on the phone and we scheduled an appointment to bring in my things for consignment. There is a limit of ten items on hangers (yes, you get your hangers back, lol), and up to five accessories like shoes and purses. My appointment was yesterday and I am impressed with how appealing and attractive the store is. The clothes are quality, in good condition, and in a wide variety of styles and sizes. Lisa was very friendly and helpful, even collecting my things from my car. She explained the contract and the online presence is very cool. The seller can check the status of items at any time! Nice! Parking is super convenient, with spaces right in front of the store and a huge parking lot beyond that. The store is located in the Albertson's center on the NE corner of Harrison and Broadway. My initial experience is worth five stars, and if my things sell, I'll bump up my overall rating.

Yes, a sales clerk kept close tabs on me and offered to put the first couple of things I picked up in a dressing room. I was happy to let her do that. Three hours--that's not a typo--later, I left with numerous items of clothing: long pants, t-shirts that beat any t-shirts I had bought elsewhere, a couple of other things--and a sales slip with a total that showed a little under $600. I almost gasped! But my wardrobe was sadly depleted, I was older with a body that was changing, I needed the clothes, and (thankfully) we could afford the haul. I was pleased with the quality of the clothes; mostly, I was exhausted! I had planned to drive clear across town to a different shopping mall. But I was about to pass the Crossroads Festival strip mall, saw the Eileen's name, and decided, "This time, I'm going in there!" I was so glad I had!

After about 5 minutes a blonde Caucasian student WITH A BLACK BACKPACK asked to try something on, the store associate kindly said yes and showed her to the dressing room. Seconds later my gf asked the same associate who took one look at her, said "yes but you have to leave your backpack here". I witnessed two people who both had backpacks get treated very differently. My girlfriends race was judged by the associate, because she decided right then she wasn't allowed to go into the dressing room with her school back pack, which was right next to the register. The associates demeanor towards us was NOT friendly, as her demeanor to the Caucasian blonde hair college girl was kind and welcoming. There was and is NO DOUBT we were judged due to my gf's skin color. Owner/Manager pull the camera on 2/28/23 at 2:30pm and you will see how we were stopped and the white customers were free to take their bags into the dressing room. I also want to mention the staff had NOOOO idea where to even place the backpack (which had her laptop in it). They were asking each other. As if they don't do this often. If this is store policy you would assume they have a designated area for bags. Not only will be never support this store again, we will let our friends and family know of this horrible treatment. Keep your eye open on how they treat those who look like white college students versus the black or dark skin college students. Sad we have this happening right on the University strip.
