I thought that the variety in men's styles was much stronger (and there were lots of affordable options (brands mean nothing to me). There were a couple styles where my size wasn't available (I imagine my size is pretty common). That can be a little frustrating. The staff was super friendly and helped me use a coupon to score a discount on my purchases. I also really liked that this store had lots of places to sit down and try on your shoes. Sometimes, I've felt at DSW that there were so many people that it was hard to have some personal space while you shop. The clearance section here had a great selection, but the discounts didn't feel particularly strong. All in all, I had a good experience shopping here and would definitely come back.

Instead, she took almost an hour out of her day to ensure my daughter received the perfect cleats for her feet. The level of passion that she has for her job and for helping players find the exact tools they need reminded me of going shopping for camping gear with my dad as a kid, and the kind gentlemen that would gladly and enthusiastically talk to you for hours about every item on the shelf (and a few more that aren't). My dad used to take me there as a kid in the 90's, and I will gladly continue to drive past the big box store to get to Soccer Village precisely because you will never find this level of care and product knowledge anywhere else.
