It's okay, overall good room with several things for the kids to do but I don't like the building. It's a maze to get to the bathroom and the bathroom is a gas station bathroom. It's dirty, smells terrible, sinks look terrible. Washing your hands here are pointless. The baby gates don't work. I would pick to go somewhere else next time. Took my kids in to this play place and it was just so adorable run by a nice husband and wife couple. All of the birthday decor they had set up was right out of an instagram post. Super cute. It was $16 per child and they have a variety of things from a jump house, slides, swings, play house, play kitchen, XL Legos, and more. I have a 1 year old son whom I wanted to socialize with other kids. I googled an indoor play place a day this place popped up on Google so my husband and I decided to give this place a try. Immediately showing up, it felt very clean and organized. We asked the woman up front if there were any other children inside bc we wanted our son to socialize with other children. She said no bc 1 it was early and 2, every day is a hit or miss. She said we can sign the waiver, pay for our sons entry and have him check it out/get used to the place then we can come back later that same day with hopes that they'll be more children inside. We did that and our son was excited lol. He didn't know where to start or end lol. We let him get used to the place for about 20 mins and decided to leave for nap time and come back later. A few hours later, maybe around 330? We came back and there were 2 kids inside. Which was fine. Our son started playing and got to see a dancing character. I was happy that my son wasn't scared lol. Overall he did good and he loved the place. B4 departure, we got to chat with the owner who was super cool. He was telling us how they've been at that location for 6 years! Super crazy bc we had NO idea! I love that this place has bins all around for soiled toys for them to disinfect once a child put it in their mouths. They have a jumper, slides, play ice shop, play grocery store, an area just for under 2 years od age, party rooms, just about EVERYTHING! They have snacks for the kids! It's crazy. The only thing i can't comment on is the bathroom but I was told, they offer crocs to walk in once you enter the restrooms! Since our first time here, I've been back a second time a few days ago to have my son see Minions bc he loves them. I brought my sister and my father and they both agreed that's this place is BOMB! I would post pictures but they are of me and my son and I refuse lol. Took our baby for her 11 month bday ( yes, I'm extra and celebrate every month). It was just her mom and I. She was smiling and playing the whole time! She has so much energy and was super interested in all the toys and play structures. There is a little snack area with tables and chairs to take a snack break. Price is good $9 for little ones and 2 Guardians free. The areas and toys seem very clean, and there are baskets to put toys that she put in her mouth. The girls at the desk were super nice and so was the manager. We drove 40 minutes to get here, and it was well worth the drive. Our little one slept great after the visit. The facility was clean and organized. The party started on time and was well prepped. All the party details were exactly what I was wanting/expecting. We recently moved to the area after living in the Bay Area for a few years. We had a goto play spot in Fremont called Kidstopia. We were looking for something similar and were so happy when we came across Play Modesto. I was a bit disappointed with their hours because close pretty early and aren't really open during convenient times. At any rate, I found some time to take my family last Sunday. I was shocked at how packed it was for a such a small space. I was literally stepping over children trying to find some room for my family to settle and catch our bearings. Our child had a somewhat good time for the next 20mins (time we had until they closed). We left thinking we wouldn't mind coming back here if the space was bigger so that the kids had more room. What sealed the deal for us from probable ever coming back here again is that 2 days later, our child showed symptoms of coughing, stuffy and runny nose, and wheezing. Thankfully no flu. But we all got sick after a few more days, including our no new born daughter who can barely breathe at night and we are 100% certain that Play Modesto was the source. How can we be so certain? Play Modesto was the first time we left our house in 8 days. My wife was 39 weeks pregnant and we didn't even goto the doctor appointment for her that week because we just wanted to stay home. Play Modesto, please do a better job at vetting who you let into your facility. And please put a limit as to how many people can be in the play area. Other parents, if you know your child is sick or was around sick people. Please don't harm other children and families by exposing them. RESPONSE TO BUSINESS OWNER: Thanks Natalie. We love play Modesto! Awesome place to bring my little ones. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Great alternative for play dates when it's too hot outside especially out here in Central Valley. The place is deceiving pretty big, it doesn't look like it form the outside. Plenty of space for the kids to run around in a confined and safe area. Some tips: make to bring socks for the whole family, bring snacks or buy from them (there's a designated area for eating and drinking), and buy the play pass because you'll probably be back for more. Look out for their events posted on Facebook and Instagram. We recently had my daughters party here and they did everything the could to accommodate our unique theme. We just celebrated pur sons 4rth super mario birthday here and absolutely loved it! The kids played nonstop and the staff (ivan and kim) were amazing. They were respectful, attentive, and understanding. They checked on us throughout the event to make sure we were ok. Character visit by Mario was the cherry on top. We paid and it's only $16 super cheep very affordable! Our daughter had the best time ever it's very very clean and they also do character meet up our daughter whose 18 months got to see her first character and it was bingo! Sadly have to write this review - Overall it was a nice event, we drove over 2 hours to attend the Halloween theme party back in 2024. It was very dragged in between activities and that lead to more germ exposures. We are a very clean, organized and sanitary family, with that we would have love to see the play space more cleaner in respects to the toys and climbing area. It was not sanitized in between the first morning party and the afternoon one properly that we all got sick. It knocked out adults and young children for a couple of days, which made us feel iffy on supporting again and trying them for the Christmas events. We ultimately decided not to, as we limit our exposure of public places we attend with the kids and know that was the only place that the children went to and got extremely sick. The characters look legit (Minnie + Mickey) but that's pretty much the only good thing about it. It didn't live up to the hype! read more

We love Play Modesto! It's the perfect place for parents with younger kids. We went there on a Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't too crowded, tons of stuff for the kids to do. They recently added a little grocery store and ice cream shop, so cute! The owner makes an effort to come out and get to know his customers, asking how they like new additions etc. He was also periodically vacuuming and wiping down toys which I appreciated.
