Definitely spent hours in here, as there are so many levels, room, activities, etc. Really loved the activities that were super engaging, both for kids and adults. The spots area on the bottom ground floor was super fun and not crowded at all. The price is well worth the visit! perfect place for families, and even just adults (i saw some adult friend groups who were visiting and they looked like they were having so much fun!) Parking is across the street under the highway. it's $15, which is not the best but at least it's a short walk. It was pretty easy finding a spot too.

We started at the near the top floor, by seeing the dinosaur skeletons and learning about fossils. And then we went to the bird area. My kids liked getting to go to the different kiosks to make their dream bird, as well as the bird flight simulator. I very much enjoyed the gem and minerals hall. Every 80s kid had a rock collection when they were growing up -- right??? Well, if you're part of that group, this area is for you. I loved seeing the different gems as well as the giant amethyst geode. This museum has a lot to explore. A lot of it is reading and screen based, though there were enough interactive exhibits mixed in to keep my kids entertained and learning. We would definitely come back!

There's plenty of room to explore without feeling crowded, and the overall atmosphere is calm and welcoming. That said, the museum does feel a bit dated in places. Several of the hands-on exhibits designed for kids -- especially the ones with buttons and interactive elements -- weren't working, which was a little disappointing since that's often what kids are most excited about. On the positive side, it's still better than the science museum in Houston, in our experience. The planetarium is one of the better ones around, and the absolute standout is the Omni Theater helicopter ride -- you simply cannot beat it. That alone is worth the visit and completely captivated our child. Overall, while some updates and maintenance would go a long way, this is still a strong family-friendly museum and a great outing for young kids.

If you're a member, depending on your membership, you're able to have 2 or more people go in with you for free. Which I feel is definitely worth it, especially if you have kiddos. I love that it's an interactive museum with many exhibits. You can take your kiddo/s here, and they can be entertained for hours. It's perfect for rainy days, or unfavorable weather days instead of just bring at home with your little one/s. This is a great spot to take them, and they will definitely let all their energy out. My little one enjoyed the Marvel section, especially since he got to wear a cape, the grocery store they have for the kiddos, as well as other interactive play areas within the museum. They have a café inside, and I'll have pictures of their menu. Oh, and you have to pay for parking, but if you're a member you're able to get a discount. My son had a good night's sleep after all the walking around. I highly recommend it to anyone who had little ones. They can run around or crawl for hours here.

Either we got lucky or the timing was right since we did not have anyone in line in front of us. They gathered us in a group with a guide to help everyone navigate through the experience. My son had a great time running around. I love how they kept it engaging for the kids, but some of the activities were too advanced for my toddler to follow. For example, he could not figure out how to find the blue styrofoam roll and place that on the puzzle board to unlock the village. There were also too many kids in the cage area, so it was hard to get him up there to throw the ball at Gargamel. At the end, he did not want to put on the VR goggles, so we went straight to the gift shop. Our favorite activity was the obstacle course. The kids had loads of fun climbing and running to and fro. I personally like the Smurf village, which was absolutely adorable with vibrant colors. You can also meet the Smurf characters for photo-op. It was definitely a fun experience that was not too congested with others. Entrance fee definitely on the pricey side though.

There are so many glowing reviews. So mine isn't needed because they're all true!…read more I've been wanting to haul the boys out here for some time but it's quite a trek from the north Dallas area. We finally made it and to say it was worth the trip is an understatement. It's not just that there's so many pristine vintage and modern vehicles to appreciate, but every single person that we encountered who was working there was kind and welcoming. Yes, there's no admission. And most important above all else, yes you can bring your dog(s) here. It's so difficult to find places that are truly dog friendly (allow dogs indoors). Which is understandable, so when we find a place that does, we take full advantage to patronize. The front desk attendants even made our pup feel welcome. He walked around but also took turns with the human little one in the stroller. We didn't end up staying too long but everyone had a good time. My husband, the car fanatic and connoisseur, said that the monthly fee to store a car was really good. And he had plenty of cars and cycles to admire. But even as someone who isn't a car person, myself, it's a great outing for the entire family. Thank you to Ron and his entire team for creating and opening up such a family, and canine, friendly treasure for this whole DFW metroplex!

From the moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into a time capsule of nostalgia and craftsmanship -- row after row of beautifully preserved classic cars paired with an incredible collection of vintage toys that instantly transport you back to childhood. The car collection is stunning -- everything from rare classics to iconic models you grew up seeing -- all meticulously maintained and displayed. And the toy exhibits? Equally impressive. It's not just a few shelves... it's a thoughtfully curated experience that sparks memories for every generation. What makes this museum special is how personal and passionate it feels. You can tell it was built by people who truly love automotive history and the joy of toys, and that energy comes through in every detail. Perfect for families, date days, or anyone who appreciates design, history, and a little nostalgia. Plan to spend more time than you expect -- there's so much to take in. Highly recommend adding this to your must-visit list in North Texas.
