The kids do really basic gymnastics moves and run around like crazy people for about an hour - then they got to have refreshments and take a breather during presents. My daughter had a great time, and was so exhausted in a way that cake-and-soda sugar-rush couldn't touch. EXCELLENT. I am totally ecstatic because I've been wracking mah branes trying to come up with a good birthday party idea for my youngest two combined - turning 9 and 5. Zoo ? Okay, but it closes early and what if it's rainy or cold? Rock climbing? The little ones need extra help from parents who sometimes they just want to escape kid-free for a few hours! Ditto ice skating, especially for the 5-year-old contingent. Alley Cats is cool, but spendy for a combo-party quantity of kids, and the little ones will be pissed that they can't laser tag. There's a Pump It Up party just two weekends before, and copy-catting is lame. See what I mean? I'm so glad I remembered these guys! 14 kids for 1.5 hours of exhausting, coma-inducing fun starts at just $160; extras are $10 each. My 9-yr-old especially will be very happy to add horseback riding for just $50!! Crazy good bargain. They have a few other add-ons available - zipline, archery, swimming (weather permitting, obviously), indoor rock wall... dood. I SO scored. They even provide all the cups, plates, cutlery, balloons and even soda! I'm bringing Cici's (Taskmaster Aaron even suggested asking Cici's to cut it in 16 pieces instead of 8. Man's got serious experience!) from up the street and a big-ass cake from Costco. Done. Either we got lucky or the timing was right since we did not have anyone in line in front of us. They gathered us in a group with a guide to help everyone navigate through the experience. My son had a great time running around. I love how they kept it engaging for the kids, but some of the activities were too advanced for my toddler to follow. For example, he could not figure out how to find the blue styrofoam roll and place that on the puzzle board to unlock the village. There were also too many kids in the cage area, so it was hard to get him up there to throw the ball at Gargamel. At the end, he did not want to put on the VR goggles, so we went straight to the gift shop. Our favorite activity was the obstacle course. The kids had loads of fun climbing and running to and fro. I personally like the Smurf village, which was absolutely adorable with vibrant colors. You can also meet the Smurf characters for photo-op. It was definitely a fun experience that was not too congested with others. Entrance fee definitely on the pricey side though.

There's an older kid side as well as a younger kid side and we've explored both while here. The couple of times we've visited during the daytime, it's never too crowded, which I like. We came for an evening play date once and there were certainly a lot more people, but my son still got to get on what he wanted without a wait. The park also has nice sand volleyball courts, basketball courts a small running trail and a nice sized little fishing pond. One of the best things is that the bathrooms are located in the center of everything so there's easy access and they are typically pretty clean as far as park bathrooms go. Definitely one of my favorites !

There are multiple pavilllions with BBQ grills scattered all throughout the park. In the park, they have a small skatepark where you can practice your latest tricks on your skateboard or roller blades. There is also a splash pad here too that is open to the public during the summer months. They provide a parking lot here with ample parking, so parking should never be an issue. This is a great park to get outside and get some vitamin D, whether you're taking a walk or just letting the kids get loose. When planning a birthday party here, reservations are not required, but is a first come, first serve basis. They have a bulletin board here where you can check out the latest events the city has planned for upcoming events and any questions or concerns you may have with Mansfield City Parks.

Most ppl here had lights and music and even inflatables in their cars. That part was a little entertaining to see the passing cars how they go all out, I mean all out!! Okay now to what this is. This is basically a campsite park. And the people that are staying there decorate their sites. But this isn't just some twinkly lights and spider web, nooooooo. These people are creative. Some even come up to scare the people in the cars oh it is so fun. I love to see their individual styles come together in such a fun way. The drive through the displays doesn't take very long. Actually it's pretty quick. The majority of your time there will be in line waiting to get to the campsite areas. So gas up, take plenty of things to entertain your kids in the car.. take snacks maybe a meal. I'd take wipes bc there's mostly port- a potties . Once you get in, there is a restroom but I heard that's way more scary than the Halloween stuff.. yikes! This park also connects to the Walnut Creek Linear trail that goes all throughout the city of Mansfield City Parks. There are also many of Texas's state flowers, the beautiful blubonnet, as well as the state tree, the pecan tree all throughout the park. Over this is such a great park to spend your precious off time whether you're looking to let the kids loose and play on the playground or maybe get a nice run/ walk on the trails or even maybe ride your bike. They don't take cash so plan ahead (they do have e a machine that will convert your cash to a card if you need). We got the basic package (blue) for my ten year old and 13 of his friends for a birthday. We only stayed about 2 hours and for the blue pass that seemed like plenty. The kids got to do bumper cars, the battle area (like laser tag but with foam balls), the slides, the ball pit, the jumping area, and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting. All in all the spot is clean, staffed well and a fun kids entertainment spot. We didn't do the zip lining or ropes courses but we didn't feel like we missed out on anything either.
