UPDATED: Playa Bowls responded rapidly to me to clear up the confusion I had around the online menu and what they actually offer. And they said they can accommodate dietary restrictions like nut-free. I was wrong, they do offer nut free milks and bases. So that's good. They also do carry juices in the refrigerated case, but when I was there I didn't see any juices and I didn't ask if there were any available. Props to Cory for reaching out to me. I appreciate that! What I wrote originally: After looking at the online menu & website, I went into this location for a Green Room juice. But was told they don't make juice anymore. That was disappointing because it was on the menu online. Update the website then? And all the smoothies have major allergens -- nut-based milks and coconut milk and coconut water and coco whip, whatever that is. Everything's promoted as "dairy-free" but nut milks are not allergen free. No alternatives like oat milk or the better tasting "flax seed milk." It's extremely difficult to find a juice/smoothie places that offer allergen-free juices/smoothies -- please start offering vegan AND allergen free aka nut free. This place is perfect for healthy smoothies or juice beverages on a hot day in September. I was strolling around downtown and decided to drop in for a mermaid juice blend. The lady that took my order was nice and got my drink made pretty quickly. My mermaid juice had mint, pineapple, and green apple which was very healthy sweet treat. This is one of my go-to spots for nourishing smoothie bowls. Yeah, it's a chain, but I've never met a smoothie bowl I didn't love here. I always devour them to the very last bite. Favorite: anything with a coconut base, but especially the CocoCraze. Fresh pineapple, mango, banana, coconut flakes, and honey? Yep! Add some Goji Berries and Cacao Nibs, and you're really speaking to my soul. If you're having a tough time deciding on a base, you can choose two different flavors! And they have toppings galore so you can really customize the bowl to your liking. And they pack it with toppings! The place is run by teenagers on the weekend and they're always so pleasant and efficient. If you go on a hot day, it gets pretty crowded, but there has always been room for us to sit and enjoy our bowls. I'm excited to have another smoothie/bowl option in the area. They're located in the heart of Old Town Littleton and have a fun surfer vibe going onside. The have a pretty extensive menu so you're bound to find something you like. They have the classic açaí bowls but also pitaya, coconut, banana, chai, and green bowl. You can pick from their list of creations or do a build your own. When we came we got the "Pura Vida" and the "Electric Mermaid". I agree with others that the servings are pretty large but I put mine in the fridge for a snack later. The fruit was extremely fresh and presentation was great. Is this my new favorite place? I certainly think so. I wandered into Playa Bowls after seeing friends posting photos on their stories and thinking it looked delicious. And in this case, looks were not deceiving. Playa bowls is a little pricey for what it is ($11 ish/bowl), but you get a tons of food and it's absolutely delicious. My two year old loved it, I loved it, and the baby in my stomach was doing backflips so I think she approved, too. Literally ridiculous how long we had to wait for our order. Between standing in line and waiting for our order---30 minutes. No thanks.

One of the worst service experiences I've had. I walked in to 3 young females working. Got my order taken by one of the young lady's and went to go sit down to wait. The second I look up to see the progress of my order to my surprise everyone was gone and no orders were being made. All of a sudden one of the young ladies came to help someone who had walked in that was picking up an order, she struggles to look for the order and proceeds to make it alone. Me and 4 other customers were still waiting on orders we had ordered in person. Another door dasher proceeds to walk in and asks for his order and before she could get the chance to begin making his I requested a refund as I had been waiting for 20 minutes for a single bowl. She FINALLY grabs the other 2 females who were seemingly just sitting in the back as yet a third person is coming in for a pickup. She tells me that she could make me the bowl in 2 minutes. Sure enough it comes out immediately. No reason I should've been waiting that long and there to be 2 workers doing nothing in the back during a pop.
