I discovered Brad's Pit BBQ yesterday and found my new BBQ go to!! Ordered a half rack of baby back ribs (meal) and they were delicious! The ribs were meaty, tender, juicy, and NOT overcooked. They had an aromatic smoky flavor too! There were at least 5 BBQ sauces to choose from, I liked the Sweet and Spicey myself. If you want Texas style BBQ Ribs you can't go wrong at Brad's Pit BBQ. Of course, they offer brisket, sausages, pulled pork and more. I had two sides w/my meal, the BBQ beans were delicious, coleslaw was okay. BTW Brad's is next door to Locavore Beer Works so if you don't want to take your BBQ home you can go next door, order any of a multitude of craft beers and they will deliver your food to your table. I liked the Mexican Lager. Great service, great staff and great food and drink! One can't go wrong at either of these businesses. read more

First the pros: the 'cue and brisket were excellent, as was the fried okra and cole slaw sides. They even had vinegar based (i.e. correct) sauce - the first I've found in the Denver Metro. As a relocated Tarheel that's a solid plus. The cons: our order took over an hour to deliver - it was a Friday and they were short-staffed, but 'cue and brisket shouldn't take nearly that long. My biggest complaint is the over 1" long chunk of bone in my pulled pork. That should never happen. Will defnitely give them another chance - maybe on a less busy day. read more

While visiting Denver last week, we developed a craving for a good barbecue. My wife suggested we try Brad's pit. Because of course. Thanks so much, Brad. Anyway, long story short. I was not at all impressed with the pulled pork. I have my favorite barbecue places around St. Louis and pulled pork is often my go to. I prefer juicy and saucy and tender. This was dry with little sauce and kind of tough. Sorry Brad. On the other hand, she said her brisket was outstanding. And since she's smarter than I am, better looking than I am, And has much better taste than I do, I gave Brad's pit a four instead of the three it would've gotten. Thank my wife. read more

Probably some of the best BBQ we've had. Brisket was juicy and thick slices. Pulled pork was delicious. Ribs were very meaty! Potato salad was great. Everything was excellent. Get the beans, made there and smoked!!!Not your same cookie cutter BBQ. A really great difference. Staff and the owner were very nice and gave great suggestions. Honestly, I know it's a side dish, but I crave their fried okra every time I pass by. It's crispy, with BBQ seasoning, and dipped in their spicy BBQ sauce, it's delightful. We have enjoyed their actual BBQ as well. We just wish the brisket was juicier. Brad is certainly working hard and providing excellent service. I'm glad to support his brick and mortar. I ordered the Cubano with baked beans. It was delicious. The pork was tender and ham smoked perfectly. We also ordered a side of fried okra. It's one of my favorites that I grew up with. The amount of extra seasonings they add makes it wayyyy too salty. I wish the seasoning was an added option when ordering online. Overall it was good and would order again. If in person I would ask for no seasoning on the okra. read more

Their Reuben sandwich is so good! I had it yesterday for the first time. It is so good! House smoked pastrami and a really good marble rye bread. The onion rings weren't my favorite, but still good. Food was very good. Loved the green chili, fried okra, brisket, and potato salad. I like Cole slaw with juice from the sauce in it but it was a dry slaw. Very tasty barbecue for a reasonable price (by today's standards) tucked into a really great brewpub. My wife and I very much enjoy going to Locavore Beer Works and sitting on the patio with our dogs when the weather is pleasant, maybe 2-3 times a year. We've ordered lunch or an early supper from Brad's Pit three or four times, and quite enjoyed the food. While I wouldn't make a special trip just for the BBQ, it's very easy to wander in and order their food while enjoying a pint in the sunshine. read more

It wouldn't be fair to not disclose that 1) it was takeout and it took awhile to drive home so it wasn't hot and fresh, which likely impacted my experience and 2) BBQ is not my first choice when grabbing dinner, I usually go for the sides at BBQ places, which I did not get to try. As a HTX girl you never know in the Midwest of going to a Bbq spot is going to compare to home... well we def got a good spot here y'all! Tom brought out food out which we conveniently ordered while at Craft Brewery next door. Scanned the QR code and my food was here in less than 15 min. I got a 2 meat 2 side combo with a brioche bun (.50¢) and extra BBQ (because ... TX). Split this with my son who turned his portion into a sandwich. (More than enough food, God Bless). Apparently Brad is from Conroe, TX... which probably explains why it's so good. I let Tom know the coleslaw wasn't necessarily a fan fave of mine so he brought me another side of potatoes salad (because it's that's good) at my request. This is a place that's interested in one thing: making a great meal for its patrons. We finally tried Brad's after hearing about it for a while. I'd seen their food truck during my work commute, but by the time I get to the truck, they are out of most things. So today we decided to do carry out at the store. The store is very simple. A lighted signed and some picnic tables in a fenced area out front. Inside it's just a desk, menu, cash register, two wooden chairs for waiting and a bell to summon someone from the kitchen so you can get food. There is a door to the left of the front desk for future expansion of an eat-in area whose construction took a nap once COVID hit. But the nice thing is, next door to Brad's is a great big Craft Brewery. And guess who supplies their meals? Brads! So if you'd like a dining experience different than opening Styrofoam containers and eating at your kitchen table, you can sit and order a beer at the brewery and enjoy Brad's food, fresh and hot, right there. And what food it is. We got the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. For sides we got fries, baked beans, and coleslaw. I don't like ribs because I don't like fat. Most of the ribs I eat that 'fall off the bone' are that way because they are fatty. No thank you! Brad's ribs are different. The bones are surrounded by thick, tender, dry-rubbed meat you have to chew off the bone. YUM! But let me warn you, if you normally eat a full rack of most ribs, you won't be finishing a full-rack of these! Half a rack is a meal with how meaty these are. I'm also picky about brisket. I haven't eaten it a lot because every time I've gotten brisket it's way too fatty. I discovered tonight that I've never eaten properly smoked brisket. Brad's brisket was tender and flavorful. If I wanted to find fat, I'd have needed a magnifying glass. The pulled pork wasn't the best I've ever had, It was marbled with a little, tiny, bit of fat, but super tender and delicious. If the best pulled pork I've ever had was a 10, Brads was a 9. These meats come with 3 different types of barbecue sauce, but honestly, all the meats were so delicious, I kept forgetting to use it. The sides were a good complement to the meat. The coleslaw was your typical creamy type. The fries were huge and seasoned well. The baked beans were delicious and had shredded pork baked in with them. All in all this first experience with Brad's makes me want to go back as soon as my stomach tells me I can fit in some more food! read more

Brad's (Jimmi) coached me to not purchase a whole brisket but to let them slice it for me so that they could trim out any big pieces of fat and I'd have a more predictable quantity and better value. We both ordered sandwiches (Pork & Brisket) which came with fresh cut onions & pickles. You get to pick a BBQ sauce which was on the side. paid for a 3 meat 2 side plate and told i have to goto the brewery to eat it because there is no place to sit, no table area. walk up ordering counter only in a dark, dirty and dingy vestibule. The order was packaged in a white wedding Styrofoam to go box, with no plates, no plasticware, no napkins. spend all that money to have it shoved in a box. If i am supposed to eat it at the brewery, is it that hard to put it on a tray? like EVERY BBQ JOINT in the area. the 3 meats stacked on top of each other, i swear the pulled pork was left over turkey from thanksgiving. Kind of meh and kind of okay, but missing the care it needs to be good, at least on our visit. We got nachos with pulled pork. The nachos were good but the pork was not. It was dry, not flavorful and large hunks that were really firm and chewy. Further, there was a pretty scant smattering of it added. We got a brisket sandwich. It was kind of tasty minus one huge issue...... 1/3 of the filling was huge lumps of fat. I feel bad taking a picture to show, but I cleaned a ton of fat off the sandwich. Once that fat was gone, the sandwich was much smaller, naturally. Notably the bun was half burned. I just don't think the kitchen should have sent this sandwich out. Over all, some bites were flavorful but it was inconsistent. We also got one side, it was beans. These were quite spectacular. If I'd had a warm piece of cheesy jalapeño corn bread with it , this could have been a meal for me and I'd have been delighted. We got no drinks or other sides as this is just a counter type thing..... so our meal was $50 with a little tip. This was too expensive for the quality or portions of edible meat. I probably won't be back to try this again and can't recommend it over all. I'd say; brisket had a good flavor and the beans were good. Everything else was disappointing. read more

Best BBQ Beans I flew in from Texas to visit my brother who is in Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO, for Father's Day weekend. He's over the hospital food so I searched for the best BBQ places in the area and one of the nurses recommended BRAD PITT BBQ. I ordered the ribs which fed an army, some sausage (my favorite) the fried okra. After I placed my order, I sat outside regretted not ordering the BBQ Beans. I didn't tell anyone nor did I go back and add them. When they finally brought out my order, they told me that they had put BBQ Beans in my bag.....OH WOW! This was definitely a GODWINK!!! How they know?!?! And they were AMAZING!!!! Full of prime meat and flavor. My brother has lived there for 20+ years and he never even been to this place.
