As soon as I walked in the lady at the front desk told me they cannot help me in my opinion this is a racist business. I had a broken nail and I wanted to get my nails filled in. They told me they do not do acrylic, nor can they fill in my nails with gel. This business needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau and they need to be shut down because they don't do nails. This is false advertisement. I drove over an hour to get here. Just to be turned away. Instead of them telling me what they could do they immediately told me what they couldn't do. They didn't even ask me if I wanted a pedicure. read more

So I went back since they changed owners and the owner did my nails because her husband did my nails but it only lasted a week. Her Uv gel mani was the same. Lasted 5 days. Paid 60$ for no reason. This is my go to nail salon in the hood! And I think the girls are pretty great!! Yes the owner is loud but friendly...My favorite girls are Maria, Teresa, Carmen, Sara...helpful if you speak Spanish. They do a good manicure& pedicure...a lot of the girls are fast..and f you go mon-thur, u can get a mani& pedi for $19...price is great!!! Weekends its $24 for both....definitely worth it for great nails... Be prepared to wait if you don't have appointment. I occasionally come here because I live right by the area, but it just isn't up to par for what I want. For pedicures, they don't really cut the excess skin very well on my big toes and the polish isn't perfect. I have done SNS here too and the owner does it but comes out chunky & thick. It cracked two days in and later on throughout the day, it just broke on a corner of my thumb. I went back to repair the nail and a crack on a ring finger. The owner then told me (kinda in a scolding manner) that it's my own fault. I made the nails crack. I was too rough on it or whatever. I work in an admin setting. The roughest I have is when I fix a stuck stapler or changing toner in a printer. Prices are okay in the winter time though. read more

Very unprofessional. I went in with two of my friends and wanted a pedicure and manicure and the lady asked how she can help us. When we told her, she just rudely responded that they have no time to do it. But what's most confusing was that they still had the Open sign on at the door that still allowed customers to walk in. She also raised her voice and repeated that they are too busy. Super unprofessional. No customer service at all. It was the first time going there and it will be the last. read more

I went to this salon as I had an hour to burn before a doctor's appointment in the neighborhood. I won't return. The girl who did my nails was very pleasant but not patient. I had to soak off SNS and then wanted a manicure. All of the SNS was not removed from one of my fingers and the paint job was not the best (see photos). My pet peeve is nail polish on the skin. All the nails are not filed evenly. I also have never been charged to soak unless I wasnt having another service done. This salon charged $5 to soak off in addition to the charge for the manicure. read more

What a horrible experience I had today at the Lees nail salon in East Elmhurst on 75th Street and 31st Avenue. I was given a gift certificate which I used today but it was given to me in October and the owner refused to redeem it because she stated that it had an expiration of 6 months. As a result, I was out this money and forced to pay for a manicure and pedicure eventhought the gift certificate had sufficient funds. She was not open to any agreement and was very disrespectful towards me. Her tone and manner to communicate to customers and her employees is totally out of line. read more

This place has been a great place since i was a child but always felt some type of way with the way the owner treated her workers. My last straw was one if the asian workers looked miserable and was so rough with my hands like if she was mad at me. I get the environment is toxic and if you work it's bad but to bring it to a customer it also kills the customer vibe. Its a bittersweet goodbye for me for this place even though it was so convenient since i live nearby. Hopefully management gets better and wish all the ladies best of luck working there. I have been coming to this nail salon for a long time when it was owned by Okie. However, with the new owners I feel as though my experience can benefit those looking to take their business where it's valued. I normally get my gel manicure and pedicure every two weeks, however, this time the nail tech Lisa I assume had an off day and did a sloppy job on my manicure. I came back the next day asking if I can change the color because the color was too light and had needed too many coats. I was told if I wanted it re done I would need to pay again or the most they could do is take $5 off. Why would I pay again for something that should've been done right the first time? OR have the nail tech at the time of application tell me the color will be too light and it will need too many coats and it would not come out good. Regardless, as a valued customer I should not have to pay at all, but said the most I would do is pay half. They said no. Moral of the story-- they just want your money and do not care how loyal of a customer you have been. They take your money and don't care if they messed up. Went there to get my mani and pedi. And the owner did my mani. I got the gel mani with four extensions. The extensions were four dollar per nail. And she used the silk nail? Extension. And. I was asking her is it strong and she said yeah super strong. (Because I normally get the UV gel. )That same night. One of the nail chipped then I went back to fix it the next day. She did it with no problem and touched up my other nails. That's why I'm giving it a two stars. And then a couple of hours after the touch up. My other extensions broke. I am super upset. And it's a waste of my time and money. I have to travel there to get my nails fixed what a waste of time and money. I am super upset. Never going back again.... read more

To start the owner is very rude. Her workers are "okay." I wanted to do gel on my nails. Two of the 7 workers were taught how to do gel. So I asked the hispanic lady Carmen. She said no because she was "busy." I was told the lady named Jenny does them really good, So I told her I would wait for her until she was done with her client. She seemed fine. However, the owner came out and she began to talk in Chinese. Complaining about how I wanted her to do and that she was too busy. That was very unprofessional. So I had to get up and leave.
