Still upset about my experience, but now even more upset that my dip powder manicure has turned yellow somewhat. I've never had this happen before.

Have hesitated to give glowing recommendations because I don't want to share this place with others, but they deserve all the stars! You need an appointment, however, it doesn't matter which technician since Alex & Lucy ensure that everyone working does an immaculate job. They try to accommodate walk-ins, but they are honest when they do not have time & don't make you wait around for a rushed job. I'm so glad they're conveniently located near me! Also, they have a really nice selection of colors in both regular Zoya/Opi, long wear CND, various LED/UV gel & powder dip!

Save your time and your money and go to a nail salon that is worth the price you pay for. I recently moved into the neighborhood, it was raining, and I wanted to fix up my crusty old nails from 3 weeks ago and make them all the same length by fixing a broken pinky nail. I got a gel manicure which costs $38 but they also charged me a "custom amount" of $11 for a supposed separate fee for cuticle removal (which I thought would be included in the regular pricing as it always has been for any of the other nail salons in the city and queens that I've been to) and a nail extension on my pinky. (Granted the nail tech that did my nails told me it would be an additional $6 for the one extension which I was aware of- but when she showed me the POS screen i had to question what the "custom amount" fee was.) My total for gel nails (on my natural nails+1 extension on the pinky came out to be $51.20 (after tax and "other fees") I really tried to be patient and understanding during the whole process but as soon as I entered it wasn't a welcoming experience. From sitting down in the chair to getting my nails done, I was nothing but nice to my tech and thanking them for squeezing me in as a walk in. However, it wasn't a great experience for me personally. I had long nails expect for my left broken pinky nail (visually a huge length difference from my other nails) while my nail tech was filing and cutting off my cuticles (which hurt by the way.. there was also a customer next to me verbally saying "ow" from how harsh they were with this) She also cut and shaved down my nails so much- i did not expect my nails to become this short... haha When my nail tech was about to put on the gel for the final process, I had to remind her again I needed an extension for my left pinky... which was the only reason as to why I wanted to get my nails fixed in the first place. She gave me a hostile look like she was frustrated at this request. Long story short, my left pinky hurts from the over filing.. she filed off my skin haha.. and the cuticle cutting caused even more cuts on my fingers, the UV curing lamp, alcohol spray downs, and hot hand towel ended up being a painful experience because of these new cuts. She would occasionally mutter "sorry" whenever I said "ow" but she didn't even seem remorseful nor did she try to compensate. I will say I did tip my nail tech $5 (I withdrew $20 from the atm on my way thefor tip but I left with a unpleasant experience here)

My new favorite nail spa. First off the spa is just lovely inside. Nicely decorated, clean, a huge assortment of nail polish options. I appreciate all the owner has done to keep customers safe because who doesn't like to pamper themselves. I was seen 10 minutes before my appt. Went in for a pedicure and my nail tech, Alex (yes a woman) was kind enough to lower the shades on both sides of me to separate me from the two customers on my right and left. I asked for the "Tea Tree Pedicure", it's $65.00 and was worth every single penny. Alex asked how I like my nails shaped (you don't get that question often) and asked if the water temperature was to my liking. Chairs have the massage feature which is always a wonderful added perk. Alex opened up my little pedicure kit (it was clear all items were new and others were sanitized....the cuticle cutter). She meticulousness massaged, applied masks on legs, wrapped, cleaned, filed and polished my toes. She even gave me a mini shoulder massage as I sat under the dryer waiting for my toenails to be done. I hate when I feel rushed and she took her time and did such a superb job....I can't wait to go back. I will never go back to Woodside to get pedicure again. I have now found a perfect nail spa close to home. Great staff.

It's oddly difficult to find a clean, available, and understanding nail shop in Queens. When I walked in, they were fairly busy though they were able to fit me in with in a minute which was great. The nail tech did a great job with listening to the things I did and didn't want. My nails look great got a Mani and Pedi that were both gel. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone else. They seem really kind and have regulars which is always a good sign.

Definitely recommend this place! Location is very clean and has a beautiful set up. Due to covid they have placed plastic walls in between pedi stations and in between client and staff in the mani stations. All staff kept cleaning often and had masks on. The service here is always great! The staff is super friendly and are always willing to give you the best experience. I am always satisfied when I leave :)

I found my place! Have recently moved to Sunnyside and was looking for my nail salon. I tried another local nail place which was nice but I wasn't sold. A friend recommend Pink Nails Spa and I am so happy she did. There were shades between the pedi chairs , salon was spotless clean, the nail artists all washed their hands frequently and wore face shields. I wanted a fun design with my gel nails for vacation and she executed it perfectly. I should have asked for her name! Definitely will be back.

0 stars if that was an option. I walked in to this salon thinking I would be given an amazing service and I received the total opposite. All I asked for was a simple pedicure. I started by mentioning that I had an in grown nail and would like simply more attention to it. The work that was given was so sloppy not only was I cut in multiple areas. But I was also wincing in pain and bleeding in different areas in multiple toes. She then rubbed the alcohol on it which made it a lot worst. And didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was bleeding. It honestly sucks to give a bad review but this pedicure was so poorly done I needed to let everyone know that is concerning to visit this salon. I did point out to the technician many times that the pedicure had issues but at a certain point I just gave up. It was a complete waste of my travel time and money. And I honestly I'm giving this review to encourage them to improve the "QUALITY OF THEIR SERVICES". I'm a big supporter of local community/ neighborhood locations. But what needs to be done is to paid a lot more attention to their craft. However this doesn't excuse the sometimes lack of service they provide. Which left my toes tremendously injured and uncomfortable to walk afterwards. #rushedjob attached is a photo to reference the poorly job.

Just discovered this new, Latina run nail salon and so glad I came across it! The decor is minimalistic and very cozy. Martha was my manicurist, she was very thorough and helped me pick out my color. My nails looked so clean cut and well polished, no jagged edges or uneven color layers that I've experienced at other salons. Pink Nails stands out in that they use Zoya brand nail polishes which are non toxic, they have the 7day polish and also offer gel manicures. A standard mani pedi was $35 with tax.

Best nail salon in Sunnyside! I have tried almost every nail salon in sunnyside/woodside area. I always go to Alex!! Please note I am probably the pickiest person when it comes to mani/pedis, and I highly recommend this place. This place is clean, beautiful space, and uses higher end products. An extensive selection of colors to choose from for both gel and regular manicure. Very reasonable prices. Side note- they include a free paraffin wax if you get a pedicure. Who else does that? They really take their time to do a good job. A+++++++

I used to like this place but after the actitud of the owners I don't like it anymore. Owners have a long face to the point that you don't feel welcome.

Loveeeeee this place. My favorite nail store around Sunnyside, very clean and professional!!! Keep coming back every1-2 weeks.

Been coming here for the past 2 years, great neighborhood spot! The ladies are always open to my design requests and try their best.

Nails were not colored nicely on almost all of my nails. Even after I mentioned it, she brushed it off

Absolutely not. A regular pedicure is $48 and a gel pedicure increases to $78. There is absolutely nothing about the pedicure I received that warrants a $30 increase. They are transparent about their pricing. Not a justification for it, though. I called before I went, as I'm on the hunt for a new local salon. I asked if they do acrylic and was told yes with gel. It must've been a language barrier issue because they do not do acrylic- just UV gel for $188. I've never had this done before and i didn't feel adventurous for such a steep cost. The dry skin on my heels wasn't even fully removed during my pedicure. I told the nail tech and she didn't say or do anything. They also did not have matching dip powder colors to the gel polish, which is shocking. I had to settle for white on my feet even though I really wanted my hands and feet to match. Finally, during my $105 dip powder with extensions manicure, the nail technician repeatedly checked her phone and stepped away a few times. They also dip your fingers directly into the powder. I see the owner stated in a previous review that they've done this for 10+ years, but that doesn't make it sanitary. Finally, there is no AC on and the doors are wide open. It may be done for ventilation, however it's summer. There has to be alternative methods available that also allow AC. I do not mind paying when the service aligns with what I receive. This wasn't the case and there are other comparable nail salons out there. I likely wouldn't return.
