I have signed up with this location since 10/28/2019. Upto today they are billing has never been correct, even after multi calls and talk to two people in person. When I 1st signed up, they suggested to put me under my friend's account so I can get some discount each month. I specifically asked if we will get separate bills and the lady confirmed with a big "yes". She took down my credit card information and I sign the contract. Moving forward in Jan, we realized they have been double charge on my friend's account since Oct.2019. I called in to the lady who signed me up, to confirmed my CC information. She wasn't sure why my bill got charged on my friend's but she will fix it. One month later, still the same issue. I called again, they told me that they don't have my CC information I need to go in to the gym to update my information!!!! I was disturb already at that point. I originally set for auto pay just to save the time to be convenient. But it's totally the opposite. I went into the gym I gave them my CC again, they promised in Feb everything will be corrected. I asked if they could refund my friend and charge everything on my card instead, the gentleman who helped me says he will try. Moving forward, it's March now gym get close down: but my friend still got double charged. At this point my friend has gone in the gym 2times about this issue as well. As a consumer, I really don't understand, with all the confusion charge the last thing you can do maybe not apologize to me but the other person who y'all continuously faulty charged. But no I called again, asked to talk to the manager directly, he told me my information never get put down right. But it's not my fault isn't it? Im not asking for discount or anything. All I asked was refund the money back to my friend's card and charge on my credit card instead. But he denied, he isn't willing to do anything to help. With all the inconvenience, No apology no anything, but an attitude!!! The feeling I got from this place/ manager was...... no matter what we do wrong, nothing you can do.... or don't be a member with us. WE DONT CARE! Love the gym and equipment - this gym (Rockville location) has everything you need to include several pieces of cardio equipment (but not too many because it's definitely a strength gym). The vibes are pretty good - I like the lighting, the posing room, the music, the chill staff, and that it's well maintained. My ONLY complaint about this gym is that on MANY occasions, they would just remove/change/move/add equipment with no warning. So for example, they had a nice, standard MTS row machine (plate loaded), and it was great. One day, I walked into the gym to do a pull day and it was GONE. Some other very clunky, very awkward machine in its place. Same with the plate loaded low row machine they had - loved it, walked in one day and GONE. Replaced with another back machine that was not even close to the same. I don't know, I just found this incredibly irritating! Anyway, the locker/restrooms are well maintained, there are saunas in each one, and plenty of lockers (although that was a new upgrade earlier this year, and none of the lockers have handles, so it's awkward), but whatever. The time of day I work out is awesome (around 2 am) because the gym is virtually empty, but I know during some other times of the day (bro hours, if you will), the crowd gets kind of douchey lol. Either way, I enjoyed this gym and would go back in a heartbeat. They also had a very easy cancellation system and I had no issues cancelling my membership (in advance) before I moved out of the area. *Lastly, they also offer several different plans, so make sure you find the one that meets your requirements.

As soon as I entered the parking lot, I was surprised (in a good) way with the magnitude of this location. Also, I was very happy that I did not have to pay for parking. I thought this location was very well-maintained compared to the other two PFs that I have visited in the area. For instance, I did not see a whole bunch of dust bunnies "hopping", rolling, and floating around the gym. Everything looked shiny and new. Also, the bathroom/locker room did not remind me of a restroom in an airport or a dive bar. I was very pleased that this PF has large free weights, stretching, and cardio areas with plenty of FUNCTIONING cardio equipment. Also, the majority of the machines looked pretty new. While this is not my home PF, I hope the visit more often when I have to work in the office. I hope my pleasant experience was not beginner's luck since I visited on a Saturday morning.

That said, I wasn't thrilled with the 6 week program at the Rockville location. Usually, 6 week programs help you lose 20 lbs (or a percentage of body fat if you're under 200 lbs) in that timeframe. It was a few hundred more then the cost of just sessions, but I saw results pictures from other people and I was promised nutrition sessions, so I thought it would be worth it. At the beginning of my program, I didn't get any before pictures or starting weight check at the gym. All that I had to do on my own. The nutrition session wasn't super helpful. I already watch a lot of videos on the topic and I aim for 100g of protein a day, so when I said what I was currently doing, they said to just keep it up and we never talked more about it. My other complaint is that not all the trainers use the app correctly. I came to the gym at a few different times depending on my schedule that week. The morning trainers never entered the weights I was lifting into the app log, so when I went to the afternoon trainer he wouldn't know if I progressed at all since I last saw him. That was kinda annoying because I'm paying over $1000 for a trainer and they don't keep track of my weights for me, I had to track that myself. The afternoon guy was good at using the app though. Hopefully they fix that. Overall, love the workouts, form critique, and direction in the gym. Accountability was good too since you scheduled sessions in advance. I wouldn't recommend the 6 week program. I started at 176.8 lbs and ended the program at 176.7 lbs, but I can see a little more muscle definition on my arms and I started thinking 30 lb weights were so heavy and only good for farmers walks, but now I use them in dumbbell overhead presses. I just feel like I didn't get anything extra out of it. Gym was worth it but 6 week program was not.

The floors in the men's locker and bathrooms were littered with snack bar wrappers and assorted debris, even a discarded jock strap. Most of the lockers showed some sort of damage. It looked as if these rooms had not been swept or vacuumed in weeks. The bathroom had several sinks, but only one wall bracket for a hair dryer -- just the bracket, the hair dryer was missing. Overall, this is a facility that is about as welcoming as an abandoned warehouse.

The AC during this summer is non-existent. The workout rooms will have air flowing but it is nowhere near strong enough to heat the space. We've seen roaches crawling around the staircase. Equipment is worn down and the general cleanliness of the gym leaves much to be desired. The one pro of this gym that is leaving it as a 2 star review instead of 1 is that it's relatively empty in the mornings. I can reliably claim a squat rack or a bench setup, something not many other places can provide consistently. If you are ok with working out somewhere like this, the deal can't be beat, but I find it hard to enjoy my time here.
