Camps/conferences: Located in Donnelly, ID on Lake Cascade, this venue offers a stunning view of Tamarack ski resort across the way. The campground is well-kept, clean, and offers lodging for both large and small groups alike. In the summer, they have paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks that you can take out on the water, and in the winter, cozy up in the fireside room next to the fireplace. Wedding Venue: I have had 3 friends get married here, and all have had gorgeous ceremonies/receptions. When nature gives you a remarkable backdrop, it sure does help bring down the cost of decorating. I've seen two ceremonies near the water area, and one out in an open field. Most recently, my best friend got married here and opted to have her ceremony and reception in the open field. Her father-in-law constructed poles to hang lights from over the whole reception area and dance floor, giving this fall wedding a dreamy and whimsical feel to it. Additionally, they allowed the caterers to use the kitchen to prepare the food for this event. The bride and groom also paid a little bit extra so that the wedding party could stay the night in Faith Height's cabins/lodge the night of the wedding, as Faith Heights is about a 2-hour drive from Boise. Overall: Gorgeous and dreamy. A great canvas for event planners or wedding planners to work with!

The smell in the air of the pine and forest are worth every penny. Each room has a private deck with table and chairs overlooking the forest behind the lodge. Inside the main lodge is beautiful and clean, with a pool table and games upstairs. They also have cabins for rent and an entire house for larger groups. The cost is better than the hotels in town, and for the privacy and quiet, this is the only experience worth paying for. But if you need something, town is only a couple minutes drive. My sweety and I spent our evenings during by the pond, listening to the fountain and looking at the stars. The people here have been incredibly polite, friendly, and as helpful as you could ask for. I understand that ownership has changed hands in recent months, so don't give any heed or negative reviews. These people are not the same. Fantastic place! We HIGHLY recommend staying here. Columns of quaint dining dishes allowed us to take advantage of using as many we needed for a multi-course meal sustainably. Three deep sinks made prep and cleanup a breeze. Simply appointed cozy rooms were lovely to retire to at the end of the day. (I presume these were Sunday School rooms once-upon a time). We didn't use the church part actively, but it served those who needed a quiet, serene place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of a family gathering. We arrived right after opening, for a late lunch pizza. They were set up for pizza that day with a special four item menu. The space was about 1/10 full or less. The person at the ordering desk was not unfriendly but certainly not welcoming. No one was. Disinterested may be the best term. We ordered one pizza for two people. And waited a full hour. The server never checked on us. It was like we and everyone else were Invisible. I suppose the pizza was good, but after that wait and feeling starved by them and really irritated, it wasn't enjoyable. When the experience is that negative, it doesn't matter how good the food is. The proprietors should take note of that fact. No apologies from the staff for having such an extraordinarily long time for an order. Certainly, the strong impression was one's presence wasn't important at all. We had thought about going to their every-so- often pre fixe dinner. But now won't go back. One would have to pack pajamas with the anticipation of having to spend the night before you got your food. PS: Laughably, there is a note on the utensil bin that you should only stay 90 minutes when the restaurant is full. Again, an example of the disinterest of the proprietors.
