Perfect place for a toddlers party. We held our first birthday celebration at the Naperville location. Beautiful room, spacious for a large group. Their menu selection has healthy choices, the food was excellent the day of the event. The reason for the 3 stars was due to short time given to set up before the party start time. If you're a mom like me who like to personalize the decor. 15 minute set up time isn't enough. When I came in the room was clean with no one occupying the space. I asked for a 5 min grace period to start set-up & the staff refused. I can understand if they were still cleaning, disinfecting or setting up. Keep in mind, if you have vendors you'd like to bring in, that isn't allowed. Flexibility and choice on decor should be explored.

Came here on a summer Saturday at 10am. It was busy but enough space for all the kids to play. It really died down at noon. Tons of fun toys for the kids to play with and playground sets. My son was very entertained. The cafe had good food options for both kids and adults. Kids meals were $10. It came with juice, carrots and celery, sweet potato fries, orange slice and a Turkey and cheese sandwich. Very well balanced. I had a latte it was very strong, they put in more flavoring to sweeten it up when I requested it. They also serve smoothies! Tons of comfortable seating for adults. Will definitely come back!

Playroom cafe two is an amazing indoor okay cafe for kids with healthy food options!

When we arrived on a Friday morning, there were already a fair amount of children. As the day progressed, more people started arriving and it eventually got pretty busy. After three hours and a simple lunch, our 3 year old and 20 month old daughters still did not want to leave. Needless to say, they had a blast. There are several playsets at this location: grocery store, bakery stand, kitchen, playground, ball pit, etc. There is bound to be at least one playset that would cater to a child. Our girls particularly enjoyed the jeep with a slide that leads into a huge ball pit, up-and-down coaster ride-on, grocery toy set, and ice cream toy set. Generally speaking, the venue is clean and most customers obliged by the rules to wear socks and/or tend to their children. Our coffee was surprisingly good and strong, not the usual watered down iced coffee. Food was average with nothing to bring home about. Our girls particularly enjoyed the turkey and cheese panini and was eager to back to play after finishing their lunch.

Play kitchen has lots of quality toys to pretend with.

Amazing place for little ones and their adults! Clean, organized and set up with so many nice activities for little ones. The cafe offers a nice selection of coffees, beverages and food. Place an order and find your spot to camp out for the visit. Enjoy your food and beverage while the kids play in a clean and safe environment!

    Birthday celebration

If you're looking for somewhere to have a private or semi private party-look no further. We have had two kid parties here and they always knock it out of the park. They have someone help to do setup/takedown so you can just enjoy your guests. Everything is so thoughtful and the space is a one-of-a kind setup for kids. My guests said "wow-we can see the kids anywhere they play" so we got to relax more than anywhere else would have afforded us. They've thought of a nursing mothers room, the bathrooms are spot less, and the place is so clean! We chose to do our own decorations this time, but they also will do a professional setup if you choose.

I love this place from the staff to the food. This is the best cafe in the world for my child! While he plays, I enjoy coffee. And what is very important there are always clean toys. Very good Nursing room. You have to come here and you will love this place as much as we do. And here is the most beautiful place for a birthday party.

They have a decently sized seating area, and in the warmer months, there's a patio to sit outside. It can get a bit loud inside during the weekends and peak hours, so not ideal if you prefer quieter environments to do work. I absolutely love their brownies, especially their blackberry brownie, but they were out the day I went so I got the red velvet cupcake instead and it was perfectly moist and soft. You truly can't go wrong with any of their bakery items. I also got the pesto pasta salad, which I highly recommend.

I had the pick two, which was a half a sandwich (grilled cheese) with a half salad (kale Caesar). The salad was so good! Fresh, crisp and lightly dressed. However, the grilled cheese was pretty sad. I opened it up and there was hardly any cheese. It was just like eating two pieces of grilled bread. They need to improve on that for sure. I also had their 12oz wildflower latte which was very tasty, but served lukewarm and not hot. If the milk is not steamed, it will bring down the temperature of the coffee. I like my specialty coffees served hot. I do have to say every staff member we came in contact with was friendly. They seemed happy and were there to help and answer questions. You place your order at the counter, and you receive a number which you display at your table. There are two dining areas with tables and a few booths to dine at next to where you place your order. Members of the staff bring your order to the table. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. Even with the sad grilled cheese sandwich which was disappointing and the lukewarm latte, I would definitely go back to Blackberry Market again to try other items on their menu. I'll pass on the grilled cheese, though.

Arcedium Coffeehouse is a good place to come at breakfast. Lunch is pretty good too as there's also options. The prices are kind of high, which is the only bad thing. A popular place in the mornings because it's always busy. It's got a lot of places to sit inside including the bar in the middle. This is a bar with coffee though. Coffee is the main item of course. It's about $6 for one of the specialty coffees including the Maple French Toast Latte. This has a cinnamon and maple flavor so it's like the real thing. Also there's food. Breakfast options include quiche and yogurt parfaits. It's about $6 for a sandwich. Has a few at lunch but most are meaty like the Ham And Cheese. One vegetarian option is the Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwich. A pretty standard one to be honest. There's also things like salads at lunch. For sure it's a popular place at breakfast. I didn't spend much time there, but the ambiance was nice and service was good. I got a cappuccino to go. The milk foam was excellent, but the coffee flavor was kind of weak. Not bad overall, though. Pricing was on the higher side, as I've gotten a comparable size of cappuccino elsewhere for a dollar less.

Out here in deepest Suburbia, sometimes things present a vaguely Disneyesque artifice, where, if…read morethe fantasy world was more advanced, "Quotation Marks" would appear magically in the air around buildings (and, alas, people) indicating irony should be applied as a mitigating factor. This is not to imply in any way those places (or people) are therefore any less in quality or to be avoided. But I digress... I've driven past the "Paris Bistro" here, since it was established, and, unfairly thought "yeah, right". Why? Route 59 is a 1000% American Commerce Zone, rife with every franchise on the docket, and conformity is securely on the menu. And rightly so. Folks out here may have had their success, but they were raised in front of American TV, and their consumer habits developed accordingly, especially with regard to cuisine and eating habits. There are, of course, bona fide Ethnics in the general area, but those are germane to the Communities in residence. (Some FAB Chinese, Indian and Mexican places-q.v.) I am not aware of a burgeoning French settlement anywhere nearby. Around here "Cooper's Hawk" passes for "fine dining", and if you've ever fine-dined, you'll know Cooper's Hawk may parlay a decent feed, but it ain't Alinea, Bubba. In the far Western and Southwestern Chicago 'burbs, folks' Culinary tastes are as conservative as their politics. So whither "Paris Bistro"? It's a handsome suburban building with inviting signage. When you walk in, you pass a bar having an impressive array of boozes. Keep going west past the bar and you're in a room mimicking a rural setting, if a rural setting had curved leather banquettes. There's a more traditional dining room on the other side of the bar, but I didn't go in there. It was daytime, and bright, but when daylight ebbs, I'll bet both rooms are romantic. The service is reserved and accommodating-you're not going to find a wisecracking "Alice" on the staff. The menu actually is pretty accurate as a French Bistro in the USA. Lots of Français on it (in the titles), but the descriptions are all clear English. You don't have translation to fear. The menu is extensive, and features many traditional "Bistro" faves, along with select "American" choices. I was in for Brunch. Disregarding conformity, I ordered the Escargot for Hors D'oeuvre, not that I wanted to, but because I am pathologically incapable of NOT ordering Escargot if they are on the menu before me. They were yum, but I wish there was a softer bread available for sopping the buttery-garlic goodness remaining after the morsels are consumed. As "they" say, a French Chef is judged by their prowess in cooking a simple Omelette, so that's where I went. "Jambon et Gruyere" to be exact. It wasn't a large beast, but it was tasty, light, and properly prepared. No sign of the Rugby-Ball pancake-batter-enhanced behemoth omelettes you'll find in common Coffee shops. Accompanying was a (very) small salad of nice composition, with just enough fruity vinaigrette to satisfy. Also on the plate were tasty and ultra-crispy "shoestring fries". I'm not a slave to potatoes with breakfast. but these were damned good. The problem at hand (so to speak) was the transport from plate to mouth, as they were very thin and very crisp. Both fork and spoon were inefficient. I thought of using the spoon to crush them, thus rendering spoon a contender to preserve my dining decorum. In the end, I bit the bullet and just picked them up in hand, decorum be damned. I wish I had a bucket of these for movie-watching snacks at home. The coffee was a conundrum. It arrived with a strongish smell, like it was burnt and past its prime, but lacked the acrid flavor such as found in a forlorn brew. It was actually a fine, bold, cup of VERY dark roast. It's a nice, sophisticated (but not snooty) resto, dignified but not stuffy. If you need to have a business breakfast/brunch, this is a perfect place. Also, if you're not in the mood for the hustle and bustle of a noisy coffee shoppe. Prices a bit higher than you might expect, but... I quite enjoyed both the bread and circuses here, and while I never mistook myself from being anywhere else than in Naperville (not Paris), I caught the vibe, and it was nice. I am officially pissed at myself for not stopping here sooner. No "quotation marks" for this place. Throwing 4 stars (for now), and I'll be back here very soon for dinner.

That room is usually where they sit families. It was not our choice and we voiced our opinion to sit in the dining room. The staff immediately switched everything to the warm and inviting dining room. The food provided was tasty from the mini sandwiches to the tartines to the sweet treats. I have to say there was an inconsistency with sizing. Some were generous and some were lacking. They could've done a better job with consistency so we all got the same sizes. The tea service was very cute but you were only able to choose a couple teas. I've been to other teas at Suzette's and Pinecone Cottage where the tea is unlimited, as well as they ask if you would like another tasting of something that you really liked. I felt for the money this tea service was limited as well as not consistent. It was a great way to spend time with my Pilates friends, though. I could see myself doing this again if there were improvements made and they were more generous by offering an additional taste.
