This place has salsa that tastes like it just came straight out of a jar at local grocery store. Their tacos lacked flavor so I asked for the hot sauce which it never arrived. I would not recommend this place because you can buy ingredients at your local grocery store and it would taste much better than what this place is offering.

To begin, the inside of the restaurant is decorated nicely but seems a little small. Maybe because there's so much going on. Went for the first time on Cinco de Mayo with friends. For starters, we were seated and did not see a waiter/waitress for a good 10 minutes. A random waitress stopped by and asked if we had been helped and then brought us waters and chips before telling us that our waitress would be with us shortly. It took another waitress to see we only had waters and a low basket of chips before we finally seen our waitress. To be safe we ordered drinks and food all at once. I ordered the Arroz Con Pollo. I asked for them to hold the chicken and add shrimp. Received my meal and it was basically a salad. After being told by the waitress they only put veggies in the dish during "morning" we found that a little confusing. Manager came over, we first asked if he knew what the dish was .. he didn't at first. Once he figured it out he acted as if he didn't see what was wrong. We told him we didn't want the dish and instead of apologizing or offering something different, he snatched the plate and walked away. He then proceeded to come back and chastise our waitress for "substituting" the meal. Mind you, the menu shows that you are able to add shrimp to your dish so there as no substitutions. Aldo I believe was the managers name, was extremely rude to us and his employee. Instead of trying to tell his employee how to not do right in customer service, he should check his attitude before approaching a table.

I miss having this restaurant at my disposal! Living in the northeast we don't have this luxury so you best believe whenever I have the chance I get to indulge my white sauce!! Growing up in the 757 this was the place! The ambiance is always authentic and appealing !! The service is always on point and I can say I've never had bad service!!! Sooo good

Even heard the staff person who seated us say to a co-worker "don't forget about the table in the window." Asked for the wine list and ordered a bottle which sat sweating in plain sight on the bar while we ate our salads. My chicken dish was cold when it got to me. I sent it back and got a do-over plate of the same order. The re-do was better, but my judgement was clouded by that point. My fellow diners felt their entrees were decent, but that the bread was really the best part of the meal. I left wondering how and why this place survives. The whole operation feels like it just wants to nod off to sleep. Maybe a Thursday night is slow? Maybe outside of the school year there's a lull at this place? Those are the benefit of the doubt questions I want to ask in their defense. But ultimately I feel like this place seems to keep going out of some sort of "but we're a restaurant" obligation. Won't return; don't recommend.

Which is also why, unfortunately I don't have pictures. This place is so on point with service. Danny making the drinks and his oyster shucker getting it done quickly to the back of the house bringing out my lobster bisque. Oysters were spot on. But the bisque. One of the best flavors. To Danny's credit I asked about the clam chowder or the bisque. He said they were both great but very different. Off his description I chose the bisque. OMG! With my issues I need to be safe and this was so good. The food, the environment, but most importantly the service was great. If you are here, sit at the bar and hope that Danny's there and in charge. He gets it.

I got the clam chowder to start. I was not use to the sourness of the chowder. It was like someone squeezed too much lemon into the chowder. Not a lot of clams either. I would not say that is a New England Calm Chowder. For entrees, we got the Rockfish and fried oyster Po' Boy. The only miss on the Rockfish is the corn. They were not sweet at all so do not match well with the clams. The fried oysters Po' Boy has a generous portion of oyster and fries. The dipping sauce was really good with the fries. Only miss is the pickle onions is really sour. To end the night, we had the key lime pie. It is a good ending to the night. Interestingly, I had sour tasting in all my food.

First of all, I love the speakeasy style "alley" entrance of this restaurant. No signage and you'll walk right by the alley if you're not careful. Very cool. Second, once you're inside, the custom cocktails are amazing and the food is delicious. You order "tapa style" for the table to share and it all comes out as it may. I like that a lot, and it keeps dinner engaging and interesting. I enjoyed the chorizo and chickpea crostini, as well as mushroom crêpe and the beef tenderloin. My son's favorite dish was the pork belly. The simple salad had a tangy vinaigrette and was refreshing. Instead of cauliflower augratin, I was really envisioning a cauliflower scallop (potato) style dish, which I think Chef should consider. I feel if the cauliflower was scalloped and integrated with the cheese and cream in a way that would melt in your mouth, it would be more delectable. this was my second time here and I would come back again and again. I really love this place. Five star experience!
