Sopitas with chicken, beans and cotija cheese. Comes with a side of rice and beans

I discovered Plaza Garcia when they were parked outside Ravenna Brewing. They have a great menu with lots of different options! During the summer I made it a point to visit Ravenna Brewing on Wednesdays so I could eat at the truck! It is easily one of the best taco trucks in Seattle! My favorite dishes: Sopitas (thick corn tortillas) filled with choice of meat, as well as beans, cheese, radish, tomatoes and lettuce. They even come with rice and beans! It's a lot of food for a great price! Taquitos Dorados (thicker rolled tacos, look a lot like flautas). These are good if you're looking for fried, crunchy fare! I've gotta make it a point to get over to Kirkland to try out the brick and mortar restaurant! I anticipate greatness, because their truck is top notch!

It was just one guy working a Saturday evening, so a little slow, but still really good. We ended up with three different meats in our food, and each was delicious.

Friendly service, yummy food. Easy drive up parking and ordering process. To go containers are recyclable. Big portions of rice inside, you won't be hungry after eating this.

Regular burrito with carnitas. Grilled jalapeño

Went here in a whim while dog sitting in the area. I got a regular burrito with carnitas. Also asked for a grilled jalapeño (which isn't on the menu) and they totally grilled one for me! The burrito was incredibly flavorful and a decent size. Salsas we're super good too! I favored the green one.

Yum!! Heard about this truck from a friend, great suggestion!! The hubby tried the Tripas tacos and I myself had the Lengua, yum! They were hefty portions and salsa was on the side try the green is was good not spicy, onion, cilantro, radishes & lime for garnish. Very satisfying we will be back to try other items on the menu. Located on the side of Shell, no drinks are sold on the truck I'm guess they have a arrangement with shell. Food is not pricey

Hands down the best street tacos I've had in Washington. Asada is perfectly crispy yet tender, super fresh ingredients, and amazing salsas. As a San Diego native,I have been searching for good tacos for the past 6 years of living in Seattle. I wish I would have known of this place sooner! Our new favorite spot!!!

The "Express" refers to Plaza Garcia's food truck that travels around the Seattle area. I came by as a part of my Eastlake Escapade (see Other section for description of what this is). The food was decent and I would come again during my lunch break. Food There are only 4 types of meat options here: adobada, carne asada, carnitas, and chicken. I was going to get a quesadilla but bounced between what kind of meat. Two people ahead of me ordered the carne asada quesadilla so I decided to give it a try since it seemed to popular. I don't regret it. There was a lot of cheese flavor to the quesadilla and it wasn't dripping in oil. There was a good layer of meat consistently throughout the quesadilla. It also comes with guacamole. I wanted to also try at least one taco since they were so cheap compared to other places that sell tacos around seattle. The adobada meat was great. I actually liked the adobada more than the carne asada. The entire taco shell is covered with meat and there's a pinch of some vegetables on top and on the side. If I were to come back or recommend this spot to my coworkers, I would say just get tacos all the way. Atmosphere You wait outside the Adaptive and Bloodworks building (1551 Eastlake) for your food. There is limited covered space in case you come when it is raining. You cannot go inside the building without a key card. Eastlake is a beautiful area right by the water and docks and feels safe. There are no places to sit around. Pricing Prices were fair for the quesadilla. Tacos at $2.50 though were cheap compared to other places in Seattle that service tacos (like $5 per taco??!?!!). Service Staff was friendly. Its a food truck so its all self serve. I had to ask for sauce and utensils. I came around 12:30pm and there were quite a few people ahead of me. About 8 orders in front of me, and it took about 15 minutes for me to get my food. Other My Eastlake Escapade refers to my food adventures that I go on during my lunch break since I work in the area. One of the common spots I go to is the Adaptive & Bloodworks parking lot at 1551 Eastlake where they host a daily rotating food truck.

This place is a fast-casual gem that holds its own against my all-time faves, Plaza Santa Fe and Tres Hermanos, but with a vibe that is more of a small family divey restaurant in a strip mall with exquisite food but beer rather than a full bar. It also serves extremely authentic clean Mexican food similar to what my grandma used to take. This place has been slinging tacos for 33 years as of tomorrow, which had I known, I would have definitely made it here before now. The only reason I hadn't graced their doorstep sooner is their early closing time--apparently, they don't cater to my midnight taco cravings. The crowd I met while waiting included loyal regulars who've been eating here since the dawn of time and Mexican-American workers who know great Mexican when they taste it. The food isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for-a place where the tacos are stuffed, and the black beans, rice, and churros are the best I have ever had. Just don't show up late--they're not kidding about that early closing time.

My son and his friends eat here a lot and they rave about it continually so it seemed we were due to go back. I got a steak burrito, hold the sour cream, add green salsa. Nothing else, I didn't feel very hungry. Thank goodness, because this thing filled me up and I ate the whole thing. It was big...not one of those 'baby-sized, burritos, but big enough. The steak was amazing, a little smoke to the flavor, and it fit in nicely with the rest of the ingredients. I'm not sure what they did differently that night but it was magical and now I'm looking forward to going back.

The tacos benefited from some lime juice and salsa to break up all the greasy bits. Overall, a great bite of food! The wet burrito was not as flavorful but very filling. The salsa also added to the overall taste and next time might try a different vegetarian burrito. There was a long line ahead of us since we came at dinner time, so the food took a little while to be prepared which was expected. There were some nice covered outdoor tables by the stand to wait and eat. Would recommend and we will come again to try some of the other items on the menu!
