    Waffle sundae on Main Street!
    Sophie T.

Soo clutch. Open late, right on Main Street so I get ice cream when I'm heading out of the park. ;) Picture perfecto too. Who wouldn't want a gorgeous sundae??? Also, they've got the line down to a science. I've never had to wait more like 2-3 minutes here. Super speedy and friendly customer service -- which is hard to do right on Main Street!

I love Plaza Ice Cream Parlor for a magical ice cream experience. They have all the Disney classics. The service is fast and friendly. I love the All American sundae which has tons of chocolate and peanut butter. It's a good value for the price and easy to share. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is cute and has that Main Street atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's an easy treat and a great way to start your day in the hot park.

Why have I not come here before? Now these are the only snacks I want. Our shakes were delicious! 19.04.2015

$8.49 Hand-dipped shakes. I had them do half vanilla and half strawberry. The lady running the register didn't know how to place father's order for me to get chocolate also added. I'll try again next time. The shake did take about 10-15 minutes to make. However, it was excellent. Also, the ice creams that came out with mickey ears also looked excellent. I need to try more stuff here.

You really can't beat a hot fudge sundae on an extremely hot day in Magic Kingdom. Is the ice cream anything special? No of course not haha. It's Edy's. However, that doesn't make it not delicious! It was just what we needed to refuel with a sugar rush. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is a quaint early 1900s ice cream parlor. Absolutely wonderful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you don't wanna go simple like we did, they do have some really cool creations, especially seasonally. Their s'mores milkshake looked really great. Skip the Mickey Ice Cream Bar and come here instead.

Looking for a classic ice cream shop, then look no further. Plaza Ice Cream is located inside Magic Kingdom, right on Main Street. It is the only hard scooped ice cream in the park. You will need a park ticket to come here and for some tickets a park reservation as well. This is a place we will always hit when we are wanting ice cream. The park itself has lots of ice cream all around, however it is all soft serve. If you are wanting scooped ice cream, then you need to head back to the front of the park and stop here. The shop is very small, and on busy days, you could be in line for quite some time. There are usually two sides to order from and then the counter to pick up your food. There are also no seats inside. The shop is that small. There are some tables outside but we usually can never get a seat. They share with the hot dog restaurant across the street. Most times we just sit on the curb and enjoy our sundaes. In the summer, when its hot, make sure to eat fast, because this ice cream melts quickly! You might get lucky if you go up the ramp to the right and sit in the Tomorrowland area. This is usually only used at night but there are plenty of tables. The options are small here. They have about 6-7 ice cream flavors and a handful of toppings. My favorite is the mint chocolate chip with hot fudge. They do not list sprinkles as a topping, but they have them, just ask. They also have a few different sundaes. These are usually larger in size and have more toppings. Recently some friends had the all American which had hot fudge and peanut butter. They both said they should have shared, because most of it went to waste, it was so large. One of their most popular and definitely good for the whole family is the Kitchen Sink. This comes in a very cute plastic Mickey sink dish. It is the largest sundae they offer. All in all, this is a really great place to get some ice cream. We don't go every visit but when we are craving a sweet, this is the place we go. The ice cream is always good, and the cast members are all friendly. I love to get ice cream right before fireworks and stand in the middle of main street, watching fireworks, eating ice cream. Perfect ending to the day! Check it out, next time you are at Magic Kingdom.

The only reason I'm not giving this a 5-star rating is because it's not their original ice cream, it's Edy's. The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor fits perfectly well on Main Street in Magic Kingdom as it has the old storybook Americana feel. You're greeted with the smell of ice cream and chocolate and the sense that everything is going to be alright. There are plenty of ice cream options for everyone as well as toppings to enjoy. Getting ice cream while at Magic Kingdom seems like a no-brainer, so yes I recommend!

One final indulgence After watching the great fireworks show, one final stop for ice cream. The bright Plaza Ice Cream Parlor was close to where we were standing, so we got in before too many others got in line. We all got spoons to help our granddaughter eat her Mickey's Kitchen Sink, an ice cream container designed like a kitchen sink but looked like a pair of Mickey's pants. It was all in fun as everyone dove in before I even had a chance to snap a photo. I believe it was two scoops of ice cream topped with whipped cream, cherries, and a fudge topping. A delicious final indulgence before heading to the exit.

I am loving all the plant based options available across the parks including soy based ice cream at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. I had a scoop of the chocolate soy based ice cream while my husband had a coke float with vanilla soy based ice cream. Both ice creams were creamy and delicious!

The ice cream saved this review. So Lets start there! The cookies and cream hot fudge sundae was a taste of childhood. Worth every calorie. Service was slow. We had a reservation and we got bumped and ended up waiting a hour. The green beans and mashed potatoes were cold but the meatloaf was good. The beef in the dip was chewy. Just not a great dinner. You know Disney meals are not cheap but for a sit down and what you spend, you want something decent. Big disappointment for us. Thankfully the ice cream turned it around. Get the dessert!

We decided to get a late snack on our way out of Magic Kingdom to enjoy on the boat ride back to the fort. They stay open while the park is closing so no worries about missing out. The line was long but gave us plenty of time to decide. The ice cream was just fair nothing super fantastic. We got the brownie sundae you can choose your flavors. The cookies and cream was better than the vanilla. I wouldn't recommend it if you are a foodie looking for something great. No place to sit down and eat afterwards unfortunately though

My wife and I have been saying for years that we would have the kitchen sink sundae and we finally did! It was the end of the night and it was the perfect time to have it. We ordered it with cookies & cream and mint chocolate chip with peanut butter sauce. It was the perfect combo of sweet & salty! Having that sundae we could view the castle was truly a great experience and one I wont forget.

Expensive, but you do get enough for 2 to share in 1 order. We ordered 3 brownie sundaes and couldn't finish them all.

Who doesn't love ice cream with a thick and creamy hot fudge and caramel sauce? (If that's you, I don't need to know!) There are a few "must-go" places when I am at my Saratoga Springs Disney "home" and this is one of them. Always sweet, always delicious and always worth the line-around-the-block wait! My favorite is a build-your-own sundae and my hubby loves the frozen hot chocolate. Both are 10/10 at the end of a hot, muggy Florida night walking and shop at the Springs. We were honestly in sticker shock. Spending around $20 for an ice cream dessert was more than we could justify. I understand you're paying Disney prices, but this felt excessive. I'm sure the ice cream is delicious, but for us, the value just wasn't there. We decided to spend our money elsewhere and found other dessert options that fit our budget much better. If price isn't a concern, this may be worth a visit. But if you're looking for a reasonably priced sweet treat, I'd recommend exploring some of the other choices around Disney Springs instead. I just couldn't stomach that price unfortunately so we had to leave.

Some of the standout frozen treats include the macaron ice cream sandwich and the croque glace (warm brioche bun pressed around a scoop of ice cream and topped with sauce). When I stopped inside the restaurant, the wait time wasn't too long. It was approximately 15 minutes. I've always wanted to try out the chocolate macaron ice cream sandwich. It was pretty small though, but the flavor was amazing! I did end up taking the macaron ice cream sandwich over to the single rider line for Remy's! Because this dessert shop is in the World Showcase at Epcot, this is a great spot to break while walking around the different pavilions. Seating is limited, but if you walk a little bit near the Disney's Beauty and the Beast Sing-A-Long, there are some more benches that you can sit at. This is one of the better sweet shops in Epcot!
