I wish you could give 10 stars. This is hands down the best pharmacy I've ever been to. Frustrated with the larger pharmacy's in the area my mom suggested I switch to Plaza which she had been using for years. I did and it was the best decision. The customer service here is incredible. They answer their phones, know people by name, and go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Being it was a smaller pharmacy I expected to pay more for such good service but I was wrong. My prescriptions were actually cheaper. If they don't have something in they order it for the very next day. They even deliver! I am so so grateful to have found such a wonderful pharmacy with amazing prices. They truly care about their customers which is so different from other places. They have super cute and unique gifts inside and they even gave away a free n95 mask and hand sanitizer. If you can appreciate a neighborhood pharmacy where they know you by name, then this is your place! Jackie, Jason, and John are the most professional, kind, knowledgeable people you will ever meet. When I lived in Camarillo I would drive all the way to Thousand Oaks just to fill my prescriptions with them. I don't go in that often (usually just for antibiotics when I get an infection) but they know me by first name. They really care about their customers. Someone recommended that I go to Plaza Pharmacy because I was having issues getting an affordable epi-pen for my daughter. Well I ended up sorting that out with insurance prior to needing help from a pharmacist. But later on in the year I decided to give them a try. And now I refuse to go anywhere else. The pharmacist and the staff are SO professional and SO friendly. They greet you like they know you personally and are happy to see your face. They give you straight and courteous answers in regards to how long you'll have to wait for something. And for the most part, unless they are obviously slammed, they are quick. I was hunting for a thyroid medicine that all other pharmacies had on back order or just couldn't fill and came across Burt's Pharmacy (Plaza Pharmacy at this location). Not only did they carry it, but the Manager called my other Pharmacy, got my prescription, filled it right away and texted me to let me know it was done. THEN I went to pick it up at the Plaza Pharmacy location and realized I had requested it of the other location which is further from me. I called from the car at the Plaza Pharmacy location and they immediately shifted it to them, Jacqueline the Pharmacy Dir. filled it and I didn't have to wait at all. I was blown away by the friendly fast service AND it was less expensive than my previous Pharmacy. Confusing I know, but suffice it to say I'm sold. This review is long overdue! Plaza pharmacy is absolutely the best and last pharmacy I will ever go to! Such a fun, loving staff- which means a lot when you have a sick kid (or husband) and are functioning on little sleep. I have never left without the pharmacist wishing us a "feel better" or some type of well wishes. They also keep a cute little store, which is warm and friendly. My son loves it in there. I transfered all my RX's over to Plaza. They are so kind and treat you better then any other pharmacy I've ever been too. They have cute clothes too.:-) Really cute stuff in their gift shop as well. You can buy a holiday present or birthday present, cards and over the counter medicine I've transferred all of my family of 7, prescriptions over. They even deliver for a $5 fee. Jacqueline and John are the best. Not just great at what they do, but they really care. It's like the TV show Cheers. When I walk in, they know my name and always have a nice word to say to me with a smile. Case in point, yesterday I had to pick up a prescription for my son. I called them 2 minutes before they closed and I was told the prescription was not received yet. I said no worries and I'll pick it up tomorrow. Less than a minute later I received a call from John saying that it just came in and that they would stay open for me. When I arrive, both John and the Pharmacist, Jacqueline were both there waiting for me with smiles on and genuinely happy to help my kid get the medication. Everyone at plaza pharmacy was extremely welcoming. I was expecting to not get my prescription approved for a few weeks, but they fought for me to get my prescription approved immediately. The following day when I showed to pick up my prescription I was delighted to find out that I didn't have to pay out of pocket because they provided me with a coupon. I first found Plaza when my Dad lived in an assisted living facility nearby. I had complained about the cost of medications and terrible billing from the mega-pharmacy contracted with the facility. A nurse told me about Plaza, that they did the required bubble packaging and even delivered. As if it couldn't get any better, they even billed me once a month. I hardly ever had to set foot in the shop. When I started using them for my own medications I realized the place is misnamed. As an 11 year customer I can safely say they are the best and most professional, friendly, caring pharmacy I have ever done business with. They always fill every request with a smile. Prescriptions are filled quickly as an immediate walk in, and are always ready on time when called in too. When you have questions, or need suggestions and substitutions, they always go the extra mile with an amazing attitude. When the need arises, special and more obscure treatments and medications for rare diseases are ordered and available the next day- very rare in the pharmacy world. They also have a very efficient delivery service if you are too ill to travel to the location.
