I've been to four different shows now and can't explain how happy it makes me to be back in the theater where I grew up! They've done a fantastic restoration and the talent and variety of shows is pretty phenomenal. Don't miss experiencing this venue! There's something for everyone at the Plaza!

Came to see Matteo Lane for the second time (the first was in Los Angeles), and we absolutely loved this venue! There are truly no bad seats in the house. My fiancé and I had an amazing time -- Matteo was hilarious as always. I really hope he becomes a regular here because we'll definitely come back every time he's in town. Also, shoutout to Hector, the bartender -- the drinks were amazing: tasty, strong, and very well priced. Overall, such a great night!

Great small venue. Enjoyed the intimate size. Recommend. Beautifully restored. Drinks pricey.

Ok, I do love this theatre which is a plus. It's spacious and loads of theaters. The last experience was great except for little mishaps. Not sure how it came about with it. We came for one of their classic movie night with The Birdcage showing. Everything is great and the theatre was full with lovely excited people waiting for the movie. Well, when it finally started half of the theatre light was still on. It was on for a good 10 minutes or so at the start of the showing. I don't know if that's an honest mistake or someone didn't turn it off when it started but that was the first incident. Second happened this morning showing for The Odyssey. First showing of the day which wasn't that busy which I do like. But throughout the whole preview section, there was no volume. So that's a good while just sitting there and watching the preview not hearing what it was about. It finally came on when the movie was about to start. Those were the two incidents that I've encountered here's. Besides that, I do like this theatre as it beautiful. Loads of theaters and they have the new releases. Also certain day, they cater to kids movies as well as classic movies. Morning showing is alway great as it's less crowded and very well priced. Small incidents like that could be an honestly mistake but hopefully it doesn't make it a habit every time I visit.

I was able to purchase discount tickets on Groupon which we were able to use on this new release movie. You can reserve t Your seat online, but there is a $2 per ticket fee. I decided to just go to the theater to purchase the tickets to avoid paying the fees, but at the theater I was still charged $4.50 total for a Groupon fee. There is no one working the ticket booth in the front of the theater, so you have to go to the concession stand to purchase your ticket if you didn't do so already online. A large bucket of popcorn was $12.99. We chose to watch the movie in standard definition versus 3D or IMAX 3D (this theater offers it). The seats in this theater are pretty worn and are in desperate need of refurbishing. The seating is tight compared to the reclining seats at some newer theaters. Overall, this is a functioning theater and gets the job done.

They were meant to shine! And not just to be stars, but Superstars! I'm talking about my girl Taylor and her Life... The Life of a ShowGirl Yes, for 3 days only (October 3rd-5th 2025), Taylor Swift had a release party in theatres where she broke down all 12 songs from her latest album showing behind the scenes looks and giving fans an inside look of each song and their meanings. Of course, the best part was showing every aspect of the making of her music video for her hit song: The Fate of Ophelia. The amount of detail, creativity, passion, and the dedication for absolute perfection truly showed why Taylor is a master of her craft and why she is a true Icon in the music industry. ----------------------------------- And here is how it went down... I had seen that this special release party was going to be released in theatre's at the same time that we were going to be visiting Palm Springs for the weekend so I secretly purchased tickets in advance to surprise my wife and 3 daughters. The day of the show, we drove from P.S. to La Quinta and made our way to the Century Theatre's. Once inside, We grabbed our popcorn, our candy, our Icee's and at 12:00 sharp, it was Showtime! Not really knowing what to expect about what we were about to watch, I was excited to see my 3 daughter's faces light up and watch how their eyes were glued to the Big Screen with anticipation. Fast forward to the end of the film... Wow.... Wow. Wow. Wow!!! Talk about Epic! I was so glad we were able to experience this on the big screen, it really gave insight to her album and a better appreciation of her talents and why we are fans. The Century La Quinta Theatre is top notch and made the experience memorable. Clean, premiere seating, and a great concession area... How going to the movies should be! So.... So we show up get our popcorn all our snacks then head to scan our ticket and guess what! We are told our tickets are sold to someone who paid 8 dollars more for them. Like WTH is going on! I can't even tell you when was the last time I ever sat in seats where my neck starting hurting! I was so so upset so embarrassed and disappointed on how this was handled! Oh and thanks for the free tickets century.
