That's a plus. Also the concession stand is great. The last experience was great except for little mishaps. Not sure how it came about with it. We came for one of their classic movie night with The Birdcage showing. Everything is great and the theatre was full with lovely excited people waiting for the movie. Well, when it finally started half of the theatre light was still on. It was on for a good 10 minutes or so at the start of the showing. I don't know if that's an honest mistake or someone didn't turn it off when it started but that was the first incident. Second happened this morning showing for The Odyssey. First showing of the day which wasn't that busy which I do like. But throughout the whole preview section, there was no volume. So that's a good while just sitting there and watching the preview not hearing what it was about. It finally came on when the movie was about to start. Those were the two incidents that I've encountered here's. Besides that, I do like this theatre as it beautiful. Loads of theaters and they have the new releases. Also certain day, they cater to kids movies as well as classic movies. Morning showing is alway great as it's less crowded and very well priced. Small incidents like that could be an honestly mistake but hopefully it doesn't make it a habit every time I visit.

There are quite a few…read morestairs to get from street level down to the theater, but there is an elevator for those needing it. The staff assisting with check-in and seating were quite friendly and knowledgeable. The theater seating was comfortable and slightly offset to help with line of sight to the stage. The acoustics were good. There's a parking lot on site, as well as a free public parking structure right across the street. We would definitely return for another performance.

They have a polite and professional staff - but one of my favorite aspects is their welcoming volunteers and the mostly volunteer performers who donate so many hours to their art. Bravo! The venue's life began as one of Palm Springs' first school gymnasiums, so it's a bit dated, but in a good way. It's an intimate space with the first row starting immediately at the stage. It has a nostalgic and friendly feel. The steps to the seating are a bit steep, so if guests need a little more physical consideration - try to let the box office know, and they'll graciously try and accomodate them. They have a small but adequate concession area with fair prices. The adjacent parking lot fills up fast, but there's another lot a short block away. The parking was easy and accessible. This was a grand gala that we went to and it seemed well put together and seamless.. It was a sold out event. The seating is great. There is no bad seat in that theater. All in all we give the Palm Springs cultural arts center a five star Yelp review rating and our personal recommendation.

Every person on stage demonstrated multiple talents in a tight production. Such a delight. If we were drinking, we may have been disappointed with the beer and wine selection TBH, but the snacks hit the spot. Not a bad seat in the house, filled with appreciative theater goers. We attended a preview of One man, Two Guvnors, nicely priced at $60. The 208 seats were about 80% filled and the audience was delighted with the performance. Parking was no problem for the matinee and the volunteer greeters were ever so helpful. The stage is huge, as the facility was once home to an IMAX theater. The sound and lighting were great, and we were thrilled to have attended. Down the road, the next up is Guys and Dolls, followed by Ernest Shackleton Loves me. We will gladly see both.
