TRIPLE AAA (4.5 stars)…read more Towing is not cheap, call around and find out!!! I've decided to get Triple A (Plus) membership for just roadside assistance. And let me tell you, WORTH the money. But you may ask why if you have full coverage with + roadside assistance thru insurance. Did you know using roadside assistance that you pay for with your insurance can boost up premiums because every call would be considered a claim. I don't want to take the chance there since I already pay an arm and leg to Progressive. Triple A offers (3) different plans. I went for the Plus Plan for roadside assistance + Motorcycle roadside assistance. After signing up I was able to start using the service on day one BUT even if you are on a higher plan (paid for and everything), for the first week grace period your services are on the lower plan - didn't like this but I get it, had to deduct half a star rating for that. Lowest plan only tows 7 miles free. Any mile after that you work with the contracted tow how much the charge... I was quoted $12 per additional mile. Not bad $48 to take me to my destination. It was either $48, use my roadside with insurance and get a ding with a claim, OR pay $350-400 for a normal tow... to tow 11 miles. SITUATION. BMW replaced my fuel pump couple months ago so this should no longer be a problem. Either there is a fault somewhere or a false-positive sensor read sending to my computer. I got my BMW towed from my home to BMW service for further diagnostics (do not drive if a fuel pump warning appears on your computer - risky). After scheduling a service I got quoted 1hr wait. That was fine because I was home and wasn't pressed for time. HOWEVER, triple a quickly sent someone and they were at my home in a short time. Ready to go in front of my garage! The person who helped me was named Ivan and he was super chill and we chopped it up a bit driving to BMW's Service dept. Afterwards, triple a called me to ask about my experience and all that good stuff. Overall excellent service and customer service. Did you know... you can use your tows not just on your cars, as long as you are present you can use your tows. So, let me tell you this... NOBODY should be using all their plan's tows within a year (if so that means you need a new mechanic or a new car). If you ever need a tow, see if your friends or family have a plan and use one of their tows. It will save you $400! My car is safely with BMW - thanks to Triple A. On a side note, I may need to tell BMW how to do their job - if it's not the HPFP (that was recently replaced), then might be the EKPS. If both are good and warning still comes up and car shuts off, the ln it's a heat-related component failure. Test the LPFP and connection, test the psi or the voltage. While at it, test the Crankshaft Position Sensor for any faults. Do your job so Triple A doesn't have to do theirs!

Overall…read moreI'm pleased with their services NOT including a VERY VERY messy towing response about 2 years ago. But I'm reviewing now just to compliment the front facing employees (including security) who are always pleasant, helpful and professional. I especially want to compliment Marisa who helped me over several weeks as I tried to establish a new service with them and experienced we, ISSUES, and it just didn't go as expected. Marisa gave me her direct number, was NEVER irritated when I called or came by, experienced another issue and grumbled maybe more than necessary. She stayed with me on this and eventually it was solved. She did all she could and was always available and helpful. And just so so nice. So 5 stars for her. Thank you, Marisa.

Jonathan responded to my email inquiry immediately, and I was speaking with him by phone within two hours. We were pleased that he had extensive experience booking clients on Brand g tours, and was very familiar with hotels and tours in Paris. Within a day he had us booked on the Brand g tour and found flights that included a discount on our hotel stay in Paris after the tour. He also help select and book day tours in and around Paris. On the morning we were to fly out of Palm Springs and connect to Paris, we found that our first flight was six hours late! The result was that we would miss our connecting flight to Paris. I contacted Jonathan early in the morning and he coordinated with the airline to rebook on flights that still got us to Paris the same day and only six hours later than we originally planned. His help saved our trip and we still made our boat cruise departure on time. Throughout the planning and during our trip, Jonathan was always available by text or email. He consistently sent us reminders and updates about our tours and flights. With his help our trip was a great success, and it eliminated a lot of stress and work on our part. We definitely intend to us him again to plan future trips.

This company is posing as San Diego Charter. I called trying to get in touch with SAN DIEGO…read moreCHARTER, and instead got "San Diego Charter Bus". This company provides unreliable, negligent service. I have spoken with several people about their poor experiences with this company. When you call for a bus they will claim to be San Diego Charter but they are NOT! If you would like wonderful service, a clean and punctual party/charter bus, and an excellent service all around I advise you to look for San Diego Charter and avoid "San Diego Charter Bus".

I rented an executive 30 passengers bus to transport wedding guest from San Diego to LA. Bus…read moredriver was very nice and this is not about him as quality and care of the bus (I hope) not his responsibility. When this bus was last time fixed? Because according to my guest it was the worst ride in their lives! The filling was that it is not a luxury bus as I was promised , but a tractor: as soon as bus will hit a small rock/rack or just a uneven surface on the road, all passengers will send flying and hitting roof of the bus. One of the male guest suggested that all springs were removed and all parts were welded together forever. If in the beginning of the ride people was laughing, but by the end some was getting sick from turbulence( on the bus!). Very bad experience for my guest and very humiliating experience for me as I organized and provided this service for them.

I had great hopes for getting our JR Rail pass. There is no local phone number to get ahold of this…read morelocal location. Calling the 212 phone number was limited since they are back east and you can barely understand them when you do finally get I touch. You need an appointment to visit and they charge $50 to go visit. That means an additional $50 to get the rail pass ( don't know if that was for each pass or however many you bought during your $50 visit). Needless to say we will not be visiting.

Great service!…read more Firstly, one of the ONLY places in San Diego where you could purchase a JR pass. Secondly, great and cheap pocket WiFi! I researched everywhere for pocket Wifi, and this was the cheapest one! If you decide to rent their devices, you will need to make reservations for your trip! I went around two months in advance to place a reservation (I was already there with the purpose of buying a JR pass), you may be able to do so on the phone but I'm not to sure about that. Their WiFi also allows multiple people to connect! If you are traveling to Japan, this place is a must. In Japan, WiFi and data usage is not good at all, so it is highly recommended that travelers rent a pocket WiFi device, buy a pre-paid data card, or set up a travel plan with their cell phone carrier. I rented a pocket WiFi device through IACE travel and it was THE BEST thing I did in preparation for my trip. If you do not have WiFi, it is very hard to use your phone. If you plan on using the public transportation, it is helpful to have the Google Maps app because it provides a detailed list of the lines to take and the stations to stop at for your destination. Also while you're sitting down in the train cars, you'll be able to use your phone for entertainment if you don't want to enjoy the scenes from the windows. I have an iPhone, so with WiFi I was able to make calls through FaceTime and send texts through iMessage with my family or friends who have iPhones as well. I did not need to set up a cellular service plan with my carrier because having WiFi allowed me to stay in touch with other iPhone users. If you have an Android, you can message and call through apps such as Facebook or Snapchat. If you need to stay in touch with family or friends, be sure to go over the medium of communication that will be available to you. Message apps that use WiFi will allow you to stay in touch without using cellular data. With all that being said, I highly recommend this place for their pocket WiFi and for the JR pass!
