The location was super convenient, with plenty of nearby restaurants (Chick-fil-A, Olive Garden, Red Robin, Tully's, and more) plus Target, Walmart, and other shopping just minutes away. What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were genuinely some of the friendliest hotel employees I've come across. They happily shared local dinner and ice cream recommendations and somehow kept smiling while cleaning up waffle batter explosions left behind by a swarm of hungry lacrosse kids in the morning. The fitness center was on the smaller side, but it had everything I needed for a solid workout. Overall, this was a comfortable, convenient stay with exceptional customer service. I'd stay here again if back in the area.

We arrived Thursday, November around 5:00 p.m. and we were supposed to meet a group for dinner. They had no record of our Expedia reservation and said that our reservation had been cancelled. This was not the case as my husband just changed it to add one day at the beginning and taking off one day at the end. After sitting in the lobby for about thirty minutes they let us check in until everything got ironed out with Expedia. The room was nice and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel also offers Starbucks coffee on each floor every morning! The breakfast on the patio was good, but the service was a little slow. We also enjoyed happy hour on the patio one night though --the crab dip was delicious, and the espresso martini was excellent. A couple of things to know before your stay: there aren't complimentary bottled waters in the room, but the front desk is happy to provide them if you ask. The hotel also doesn't have a late-night market or convenience area for drinks and snacks, which would have been nice. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend The Harbour Hotel for anyone visiting Clayton.

JoAnna is a gem. She is very accommodating and knows the area well. If you need information about anything at all, she will be able to help. Breakfast is always delicious and plentiful. We always stay in the white house , which is next door to the main house. We like this one because we have a full kitchen to make our sons' favorite foods while we are in town. We just spent the weekend before Christmas here since our son won't be home for the holidays. We made turkey, stuffing and all of the trimmings. We baked cookies. We put up a small tree and opened Christmas presents. This property is spacious and comfortable. It feels like our second home. The rates here are very reasonable and they can accommodate a pretty sizable group. The entire house can be rented. If you like ice cream, Stewart's convenience store on the corner has delicious flavors! Grand View is very close to Ft. Drum so anyone visiting their soldier should give this B&B a try. They do short-term and long-term rentals, and are military friendly.
