A woman was enthusiastically explaining how great they were, and when I asked the gentleman operating the machine how much they cost, he said they were free. After we waited in line, an employee made a beeline for us and announced that my daughter couldn't participate without a $20 purchase. She then spoke to the gentleman in Korean, and he looked over at us apologetically. When I pointed out that we'd been told they were free--and that another woman participating hadn't purchased anything--she insisted everyone had bought something. The $20 was NEVER the issue. Being singled out, given conflicting information, and then treated rudely for questioning it was. I even agreed to buy something, but she continued repeating that we had to make a purchase until my daughter became so uncomfortable she no longer wanted the nails. Finally, frustrated, I said, "You seem desperate for the $20, so just give her something for $20 and let her make the nails." Her response? "Well, just do them for free since you're complaining." Seriously? We left. I own an absurd amount of K-beauty and will be in this neighborhood regularly. I would absolutely have become a repeat customer. Instead, one needlessly hostile interaction guaranteed I will never spend a dollar here. A $20 minimum wouldn't have bothered me. Treating my daughter and me like we were unwelcome did. There are too many great K-beauty stores to ever set foot in this one again.

Of course there were multiple line cutters & other people joining their friends in line at every pop up/event. Yeah, it was no surprise. Went from number 60+ something to #93 when it was finally my turn after one hour of waiting. Apparently, it was limited quantities for the perfume in Soho (100 bottles) while there were much more (maybe 100-200?) at West Village because space was bigger. However, no exact amount was announced by staff for either location prior to being lined up. Nothing was mentioned on social media the day before as well. No security in presence to keep the line in order. Don't expect staff to do anything about it. They would only shrug in reply. Person in front of me asked the staff if the fragrance was still available. She said only a few left. My heart had sank. Started wondering about how many exactly was a few left? Luckily towards the end after thirty people had skipped, I was the 93rd to enter. Right at that moment, the staff should've made an immediate announcement informing everyone else the countdown of the last 6 bottles before everything running out. So, everyone could make their way over to the Charles Street/West Village location. Apparently, the WV location had way less crowd traffic like only 20-30 people in line an hour before the event had begun. Thin branded tote was also given out as a bonus for posting on IG Story in West Village. Anyway, the Iced Milk Caramel Latte didn't taste that bad as others had stated. It was just like a regular Iced Caramel Latte, nothing special. Okay maybe except for the dulce de leche & a cold whip of milky foam. Wishing they'd spoons to scoop up the foam with before it ended up melting into the coffee. Flavor wise was pretty decent imo. Huge block of ice filled half the cup, so it was a bit diluted as intended. Drink rang up to be $10.34 in total. Would I regularly pay $10 for iced caramel latte? Probably not. For the fragrance? You can't control the weather but you can still please your customers. This venue failed miserably…read more The weather was rainy & nasty, so the platform was basically in a cloud. No view. I purchased expensive VIP tickets to avoid the lines to get to the top. But there were no lines because there were no people. They offered us a voucher good for one year to return on another date, but I live 3,000 miles away and had no plans to return so what good is that. So, we went up anyway. They offered a coupon for 20% off vastly overpriced drinks. Whoop-whoop! Not even a free drink!!! They closed the restaurant too so only junk food at the service bar. At the very least, they could have offered an "open, transferrable voucher" for another time. I cannot recommend this venue for the lack of management's poor customer consideration. I'm not blaming them for the weather, I'm just disturbed that I felt they couldn't care less about our disappointment.

I didn't even go ask her questions or wasn't bothering anyone at all. Why is it even necessary to come up to me emphasizing that statement again? But then, I saw that same particular staff going to the backroom getting more black caps and passing them to her colleague. If you plan on lying to people by being a jerk, then just stick to your story all the way. It's not that "there're no more for the day." But rather, she's stingy and just doesn't want to give it out lol. Even saw her whispering to other staff and eyeing at me. You want the public to know more about the coffee machine brand Flavia. But then, you don't want to give out promotional merch by turning people away with the lying. Makes me feel unwelcoming. I left shortly afterwards. Wouldn't go out of my way for this imo. I was just so happened to be in the area.
