It started out well even with our concern about buying our first RV sight unseen. The agreement was to take care of certain items but most importantly we asked that it be checked out so we were able to get in it and go right away. Driving it home, it seemed as if the entire unit was going to rattle itself apart. Ended up paying to have a suspension piece added to stiffen the ride and put a lot of foam pieces everywhere to try to eliminate noise. Tires had been inflated incorrectly and when we went to check air pressure, couldn't check because there were no extensions on the valve stems, not even the inside tires that were impossible to check without and manager said they're not even installed on brand new $100,000 units. Isn't checking tire pressure RV ownership 101? So we paid for that. It took almost a month to get a title because the unit we bought was paid off by the previous owner through financing a new RV but Pleasureland did not take care of things in a timely manner. Had to tell them we'd be calling the state about a title infraction and possibly returning the unit and lo and behold clear title was miraculously overnight mailed to us. There were a series of minor issues but the most concerning was the check engine light that came on the first time we took it within 100 miles from home. We had it hooked up to a computer and it was suggested we replace the gas cap. Did that only to find out we had an evap leak. Gas tank needs to be emptied and dropped because we were advised fumes could be leaking into the unit. That will be another $1500 plus. During this visit we also found serpentine belt and tensioner need replacing. If this is road ready, I have safety concerns for the way these units hit the road. read more

Bought a 80k grand design fifth wheel from this place. It started out fine. We finally found the RV that fit our needs after looking at seems like hundreds of them. Got to a price point we were comfortable with. Had to have a fifth wheel installed in my truck and was speaking with the service manager. While speaking with the service manager (Jason) the sales guy was pushing my wife to get paper work done before we settled on the total package. This same salesman was rude and interrupting the service manager while he was explaining what was going to happen while installing my fifth wheel. We got into the finance office and we were talked into a extended warranty which is fine we like the protection because we have been camping for a few years now with a grey wolf we had purchased and camper stuff can get expensive. There was a few things in the camper that had to be repaired. One of the slides came off track or one motor was not working properly. A fold out bed was broke and they had to fix that. Some of the blinds did not work. We used the camper threw the summer. The fold out bed broke in the same spot. The welds they did hardly had any penetration. We did have one issue with water leaking in around slide seals while raining. It was all slides leaking. We also had our shower leak from the beginning getting the floor wet in the bathroom. The bathroom sink did not work very well either the faucet had poor water pressure. We did not think much of it because we got the extended warranty they said covers everything they said! No big deal. We brought it back to Pleasureland Brainerd in mid October . Explained some of the things that are going on with it to Angel. Angel explained the only thing covered was the faucet. (apparently the warranty only covers major stuff) Not the EVERYTHING they told us. The wife spoke with Nick about the fold out bed which was not covered by the EVERYTHING warranty! What a shocker! They don't make that bed anymore. Nick was very defensive and rude when talking with the wife about the bed. Luckily they had paperwork on the bed saying it was repaired before leaving the lot when we bought it. Then Nick was willing to help. You would think you would check into the problem before becoming rude and defensive? Angel suggested doing a slide seal maintenance. I agreed, for a few hundred bucks to save my seals vs replacement. Well its December now the 5th to be exact. Went to pick up my fifth wheel and found the batteries dead and probably frozen. I could not get the hydraulics to work with a dead battery. Found main disconnect in the on position......ugh.... Anyone with a camper knows they have a slow voltage draw when the power is left on. With the temps in the teens and below I'm pretty sure the batteries froze. Then I paid the bill some 700 dollars later. They are sending out someone with a booster to get the hydraulics to work. After reading the paperwork I found out they could not get one of the outdoor showers winterized when I paid for winterization. Guess I might be buying a new shower assembly in the spring! After getting it home after a hour and a half of driving, Hydraulics still not working but more power than I had on the lot. Found my generator tipped on its side when I got home. Generators are pretty heavy and I have a 3500 watt Generac which is pretty wide and heavy. I am missing some of my plastic blocks that go under the pads of the stabilizers. My shower hose assembly is missing. If you like headaches and arguing this is the place for you! read more

We were told that everything worked on our RV and to just call if we have any problems. The guy that we bought it from (Cody) wouldn't answer his phone or return one to us when we left him a message. So we took it took them to get it fixed and Cody didn't even acknowledge us. We had to negotiate the bill as they knew how to charge (for everything that was suppose to be working)! So I suggest for everyone to get your RV somewhere else if you want service or even to be told the truth about everything. read more

After using our brand new camper twice, a screw went through on our slide out and cut the floor, after them blaming us for scratching it it took 4 visits to the shop for them to believe us and pull the slide out out to check it. YEP you guessed it, indeed a screw cut through. A year later (including them having it for 7 months) and it's still not fixed the way it should be i.e. no seam and caulking all over the place, not to mention the caulking color doesn't even come close to matching plus it looks horrible. They have no pride in their work or customer service. WHAT A JOKE this company is! WORST-COMPANY-EVER! We won't spend another dime at PleasureLand! Per their request awhile back we kept our negative reviews to ourselves but now we want everyone to know! Please share this so others don't have to go through what we have!! Horrible service would not recommend purchasing from this location. All we have had are issues with our brand-new camper that we have had for four months. We have taken it In to get service for a brand new door frame, washer, oven issues, and multiple more. They have not followed through on their word when they say they will fix the problems or come back and say nothing wrong with it. My husband traveled from the cities to pick up the camper on his day off, and not only was the camper battery completely dead and unable to move, but he found multiple areas that needed fixing weren't even touched as well as they didn't even clean up the mess they had made. read more

I am a full-time RVer and needless to say I have had to have my Coachman RV repaired several times in the last five years. It is my house on wheels. In most cases since you did not buy the RV from that vendor, the service received is less than acceptable and very costly. However this was not the case at Pleasureland RV Center. I have had problems in the past with my 14 foot slide out and have had the rails replaced.I noticed that about 50% of the screws were coming out of the wall and I was worried that the slide out what I actually feel. I took a video of the problem and visited with Kevin Clarinet, Service Advisor, on 8/13/2018 in AM I was immediately given the standard response we are very busy and may not be able to do anything for several weeks. I explained to Kevin that I was a full timer and this is my home and also I was a member of the Priority RV Network and ask if he would please check further. He said I could bring the RV in for inspection only on 8/15 @ 8 AM. After approximately two hours Kevin told me that the RV was repaired, and the only thing that was required was replacing the broken screws with larger screws. This is the first time I have received this type of quality service. Traveling cross country sightseeing from California to the East Coast in our new RV. During our travels we ran into problems with our rig. Called 2 RV repair centers and were told they couldn't take us. Called PleasureLand and Kelly said they would squeeze us into their just-as-busy schedule. Parts were pre-ordered from the mfg, and coordinated between them and Kelly, so the repair could be done while we wait. Everything was done flawlessly & very professionally. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience. They put us back on the road quickly..... couldn't ask for more. read more

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I bought a new camper that needed 2 items replaced. 7 times I was promised a return call regarding this work, not once did I receive a call. I would then call them the following day and was meet with excuse after excuse. I have never even received a follow up call regarding buying a brand new camper from them. Attitudes towards their customers are horrible. I will never buy from here again. I do NOT recommend! read more
