I was immediately excited, as I thought the only one in Texas was in Dallas and I was NOT driving there. I booked tickets to see the Odyssey on what I THOUGHT was today, however I accidentally booked them for next Sunday. I was informed of this at the check in and was devastated at my own error. I asked if we could still get tickets for this showing and the attendant said it was full (understandably as this is a new movie and this viewing version is only available at certain theaters). They had tickets for a 10pm showing, but we were unable to stay in San Antonio that late as we had to be back in Houston this evening for appointments. I then asked if we could wait and see if someone didn't show up if we could buy tickets for their seats. I was told this was unlikely (understandably), but I could talk to the attendant at a different counter and see if it was possible to wait. I went there and spoke to Keely. I repeated the situation and asked again if we would be able to wait and see if someone didn't show up. She was very understanding and kind and reiterated she didn't think that would be possible but she would ask her manager. Doreen was the manager on duty and I repeated the situation. She said she would look and see if anyone had cancelled their tickets and if any more seating was available, but could not guarantee anything, and if seats were available they likely wouldn't be good seats (again, understandable). I told her I would be grateful for any seats. She looked, and there happened to be two handicapped seats available (my mother who was with me is handicapped). The seats were in an area she didn't have to worry about accessibility. And I am so grateful to the team there and wanted to reach out and let you know how well your team at the Rivercenter is taking care of customers. I am beyond grateful to have seen such a wonderful film as intended by the creators and it was only possible thanks to your wonderful team. I hope you take the time to recognize Keely and Doreen for going above and beyond what they had to in order to help a movie lover in a difficult situation that was my own mistake. TLDR: The theater staff and the theater itself is amazing and they all deserve a minimum $1.00/hr raise.

When I arrived I was greeted by an employee who verified my ticket and told me where I'd find the auditorium where the movie would be showing. I was happy to see how clean the theater was. The auditorium was also clean and the reclining seats were comfy. My friend got a beer at the bar and we were impressed with the size and price. I didn't order any concessions this visit but I'll be sure to come back for the full experience.

I've been to special screenings, quote alongs, and countless movies. And I'm done. Saw a movie tonight with their new ordering system, terrible recliners, and squeaky tables, and I realized the magic of that place is dead. The online ordering was awful. I paid for everything under 1 order but there was 15 minutes between 1 seat and the other getting items. When I finally got my food the water I ordered didn't arrive until I requested multiple refills through the online system which meant I had to keep my phone on the entire time. I would've felt better if I could've talked to a server but it was a bit chaotic. They were all running around looking a bit overwhelmed and lost. The only way to get help is to request a manager through the website, which felt like overkill. Final straw was realizing that despite paying via credit card when you order, they charge you another 5% (on top of the included 18% service fee) if you don't go back into the order system and close out after the movie ends. I don't want to be a slave to my phone. One of the greatest joys of the Alamo Drafthouse was their strictly enforced no phone policy, but those days are done. When Santikos or AMC tried to introduce fancier food I thought they were poor imitations of the Drafthouse, but now the Drafthouse feels like it dumbed itself down to be a poor imitation of them.

I was unable to order my tickets online. My gift cards showed a balance, but couldn't be used for checkout for unknown reasons. No worries, I'll just go with a less frequented movie that I don't wanna see as much, and wait in your lobby to order tickets for some random poor seats, like we used to do in the old-fashioned days. Once seated the gift cards can't be used to order food. For some reason, Drafthouse requires a credit card to do so within their app. But, you can leave your movie 20 minutes in, and order food from the lobby, and never see the waiter again for things such as refills on drinks or allegedly unlimited popcorn. I won't be buying Drafthouse gift cards from Costco again, because as far as I can tell, they're just some sort of Ponzi scheme to collect my credit card number, name, and other pertinent details. But, I don't think I'll be attending Drafthouse again at all, because gift cards aside their entire thing was providing you a waiter and getting your food during your movie, and they've managed to mess that up entirely.

Cheap concessions, cheap tickets, minimal ads, and a good display. I love a cute local theater and it's great to see them show the big movies in a small theater. I went tonight with my parents, who were given a box seat, to see Toy Story 5. Upon arrival, we were escorted to our seats in the box and given a menu. The usher got us our popcorn and drinks and was attentive. The popcorn is that classic popcorn I love, and it was a great price for the tub. Tickets typically are $9, and the concessions prices aren't too shabby either. For 3 drinks and the popcorn tub, it was $20, which is a steal compared to your majors. My mom wasn't sold on the theater before we went vs a chain, but after attending, she wants to go every weekend. It's a great addition to this small town. RIYL: big screens in the small town

The seats are very comfortable, a little tall so it's harder to see if you are on the shorter side. They do have bins that can be placed on the seats as a booster but I'd bring a pillow or something instead, it would be more comfortable. The movie experience was great!!…read more I went to Casa Blanca for a matinee showing of the 1999 cinematic masterpiece, The Mummy, with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz on its 26th anniversary and had a wonderful time. The cinema in its entirety was pretty slow when I went so I had the theater to myself for the showing. I'm sure the lack of a crowd was part of the reason the staff was in such a good mood! For the place itself, the theater's speakers were crisp and the seats, though not recliners, were comfy, the self serve drink refill and snack station was clean and fully stocked, and the restrooms were in excellent condition as well. Nothing new here but beware the snack prices. They keep getting pricier and pricier! I'd definitely like to return to see a few more movies and experience the arcade and bowling side of things. So I had tickets to a 130 show to see the Odyssey movie and we came in and the person in the front…read moretold us that it would be in an auditorium eight but on my ticket, it said six so we believed her we went straight into auditorium eight we noticed that we were late into the movie and no credits were being shown. We showed up at 1:34 so we were very confused. We sat down and just watched the movie cause we thought we were late. After the movie was over we felt like we missed half of the movie. Well, that's exactly what happened. We were redirected to the wrong auditorium and missed half the movie so we talked to a manager told him our situation and he definitely helped us out and gave us another showtime free of charge. He was understanding and very helpful and got us our tickets right away. I really enjoy this movie theater. I've been coming here forever, never had a problem until today, but it was fixed so thank you and I will still continue to be coming here because of the great service

They started up setting up their equipment at La Tuna, but also set up at the Pearl, Hemisfair, SAMA, and other places around town. The city has a deal with them this summer where you can see a bunch of free movies. They were putting on a James Bond film series, every week with a different movie. When you go check out their movies, generally you can take your own blankets, food, drinks, chairs, etc. There's no bad seat in the house, since the screen is so big! I love what these guys are doing to make new use of public spaces around SA to turn any park into a movie theater! SA has so many pleasant evenings, it's a great way to get outdoors and still catch up on a movie.

They look it up using the confirmation code and then print out tickets for you. Arrive early if you buy on Fandango. The guy at the concessions just stared at us when it was our turn to order and were waiting in line. It seemed as if he was ready to take our order. So we just walked up and told him what we want. Luckily he was ready to take the order since he gave u our food. It was an odd interaction to say the least. Maybe he was having a bad day? We won't return due to all this.
