This fast food restaurant is housed within Whole Foods. Their plant based foods and drinks are expensive AND tasty. I ordered their new breakfast burger. Initially I was surprised with the taste of mustard, then began to enjoy it. I paired it with a cookies and cream shake. Yum! Because we had the dog with us, I used my phone to place the order. We enjoyed our food from the cozy car. Haha!

As a lifelong vegetarian, this was a very mediocre veggie burger experience. I ordered the PLNT Mushroom BBQ Bacon Burger with a side of Green Bean Fries. First, the value isn't great cost to portion wise, leaving me largely unsatisfied at the end of the meal. Second, my burger order was also incorrect, with no sauce on the side. The burger itself lacked character and was lost amidst unimpressive toppings. The gluten-free bun was dry and crusty. Overall, nothing tasted very fresh. The fries offered more flavor and uniqueness with the quinoa, corn, flax coating. I wish they'd come with more than a tablespoon of sauce though. Unfortunately, I will be hard pressed to give PLNT Burger another try.

5 stars for the food! 3 stars for the kitchen staff manners and cleanliness. Tried PLNT burgers for the first time and honestly it tastes GREAT. No meaty smell (duh) and their patty is just seasoned perfectly. Buns are not dry either! I've only tried their impossible burgers but perhaps I'll try fish / chicken burgers one day. If you are in the area and looking for a healthy meal, PLNT Burger is your spot!

I was in the Columbia Whole Foods and then right after checking out my groceries...hunger struck me like lightening. Instead of driving out of the parking lot, we turned around from the checkout and tried this place. What was meant to be a snack split between two people could easily have been double the order and then add some fries. Don't sleep on their mushroom bacon burger!!! If you've ever had a smash burger before, this plant -based alternative surpasses it!!! The sauce is fire, the bread has a nice ample mouth feel, and the mushrooms are marinated and cooked as a beautiful finish. Will be back to try some more!

Ordered from Colombia location, and noticed the chicken patty and lil dippers looked different and asked team members there about it who said they "squish" them now. Confused, we called the silver spring location and were told that the chicken patty has changed to Tindle chicken patties and was told it was gluten free however the Tindle website says otherwise about their products. The allergen info on the plnt burger website has not changed to reflect this new item and the menu still says Meati chicken patties when I ordered from the Colombia location. Very upsetting to be served a product I did not order and not have accurate allergen info. My spouse also ordered the lil dippers and noted how different they were compared to previous orders, likely another Tindle product and not the regular lil dippers. New products were very unappetizing compared to previous experiences, if these new items are permanent we do not plan to eat here in the future.

I've been to this PLNT Burger on multiple occasions and it's always been quality. I've had so many items from their menu and they do extremely well at recreating classic meals while putting a Vegan twist on it. On this day, I had the bbq mushroom burger, the spicy chik'n sandwich & the vegan chili and cheese fries. Everything was delicious and I got my food in about 8 minutes which was also a pleasant surprise. This location is inside of a Whole Foods grocery store so you won't get all of the bells and whistles of a regular restaurant, but what they lack in terms of seating, privacy, etc. they overcompensate for with pleasant service and yummy food. I think you will enjoy this Plnt burger location as much as I do. Their consistency is unmatched.

Ive come here twice this week the food is always fresh and the service is good. I came for strawberry milk shakes, they should have an option to add Oreos to the milk shake option. I love their food and the options they have. I also appreciated not seeing any crazy food handling concerns while there. They were busy and focused, you could tell. They had it where you could place your own order from their tablet, so it's contactless and they would just assist as needed, that was very different, but I can respect it.

I was pleasantly surprised this week after trying PLNT Burger for the 3rd time. The previous times I've gone, I tried their PLNT cheeseburger and chik'n sandwich, and I remember thinking they were fine but nothing I was excited to go back for. This time I tried the steakhouse burger (apparently new to the menu as of 1/25/2022) and I thought it was excellent. The portobello mushroom pieces really brought out a *natural* type of meatiness that the other sandwiches seemed to lack. The potatoes, caramelized onions, and steak sauce also contributed to an excellent combination of flavor and texture. The sweet potato fries were also very good. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, not greasy. The outer crisp seemed to have a thin layer of tempura or something which was nice. The large fries actually is quite a bit of potato to eat, even though it might not look like it from the package. We tried some sauces with the fries - the maple mustard was good. The chipotle (?) sauce was not bad but I think the sweetness of the maple paired better. The herb sauce was mild and hard to taste with the fries. The barbecue sauce was a little overpowering with its sweetness. And of course, ketchup went great with the fries. I didn't think the sandwich needed any additional sauce so I didn't try them on there. We also tried the blood orange soda which was refreshing and not too sweet. The food was a little pricey but I think I'd go back every so often to get this combination again or to try some of the other things on the menu.

Several months ago, a friend, ("L", if you happen to read this :-), treated a bunch of us to some super-fresh super-tasty ceviche Peruano, and I lost the info. Yesterday, hoping for a quiet lunch, we found Pipilinka Peruvian Charbroiled Chicken, and the moment we saw the authentic home-made foods on the menu, we knew this was the place! There's plenty of parking, and we walked across a patio with benches and tables shared among several restaurants, also used for occasional live music. Pipilinka is a cute colorful storefront towards the west end of the patio, with some specials on a sandwich board out front. Inside it's cozy and cute, brightly decorated with Peruvian art and crafts. It's family-run, and the owner helped several groups who arrived at the same time, 1:40pm on a Saturday (Nov 2025), sort out among the 25 or so indoor seats. Several could sit out front, on a nice day. The weather was a bit cool, and we loved sitting indoors near the little space-heater in the front area. The friendly owner helped us with several questions about the offerings, and we started with a $4.50 bean and cheese Salvadoran pupusa. The farina corn dough was hot, pan-fried to a slight sear on one side, filled with flavor, and came with a small cup of simple tangy fermented cabbage slaw, curtido. The side of clear golden-red tomato non-spicy flavorful salsa-rojo was perfect over the pupusa. They have two or three stand up coolers of canned and bottled beverages, many from Peru and Latin America, and also several that they make themselves. We had a bottled unsweetened lime sparkling-water, Topo Chico, and traditional home-made purple-corn drink, chicha morada, sweet, slightly-fruity, with a hint of clove or cinnamon. Both were very refreshing. As you might guess, the $12 broiled dark-meat quarter-chicken with two sides was our first choice, with Peruvian rice and a small fresh avocado salad. The chicken was just as we wanted it, falling-off-the-bone tender, moist, marinated and gently seasoned throughout, with crispy skin. It was nicely presented on a large pretty plate as a meal, much nicer than fast-food. The generous serving of Chaufa rice is a traditional Chinese-Peruvian recipe of wok-fried rice with shredded chicken, egg, and very-finely chopped veggies, such as bell peppers and scallions. The Inka salad is of fresh lettuce, thin-sliced ripe avocado and tomato and pink pickled onion slices. We chose a small cup of the tangy only-slightly-spicy yellow-color sauce, an Aji Pollero Amarillo, rather than the verde green sauce that the owner said would be spicier. Perfectly cooked and delicious. We also had $18 pan-fried Pescado a la Sarten, sweet white fish, lightly coated and fried, with some of the crunchy tangy picked onions. We added a side of yucca, lightly fried and lightly salted, and as tender as yucca can get :-), more textured than french fries. We used some of that slightly-spicy amarillo salsa as a very complimentary dip. We added steak fries, not an adventurous choice, and they were also lightly fried and lightly salted, and pillowy soft inside. That fish was especially nice, so tender and light and flavorful. We finished with a box of five daisy-shaped home-made Peruvian Alfajores pastries, a pair of thin delicate melt-in-your mouth shortbread-like cookies with a thin layer of purple Peruvian dulce-de-leche sweet jam between. Heavenly! The staff compete to heat the condensed milk just hot enough just long enough for the perfect pastry. The owner tells us that it's all about the timing. Today's recipe has our vote! Somehow, so satisfied from such a delicious meal, we managed to save a couple to take home :-) This is a lovely gentle cozy family-run place to enjoy delicious homemade traditional Peruvian and Salvadoran foods.

After parking my car, I found the premises to be clean, well maintained, and pleasant. As I approached the building, I could see that the drive-thru was busy, but it seemed to be operating efficiently. Shortly after entering, I could also see that there were several customers here inside enjoying their meal. It was clean and well maintained inside as well. I was immediately greeted by one of the Chick-fil-A employees while I entered. As I approached the counter, I was once again greeted by a different Chick-fil-A employee who was working the register. His name was Douglas. While I was placing my order, I noticed something neat that he was wearing and I complimented him on it. We then engaged in a little small talk, and we had a pleasant conversation. So, I don't know how other folks feel, but from my experience I've noticed that most of the employees at every Chick-fil-A have a higher level of professionalism and friendliness than is typical at most other fast food restaurants. I have also found that they provide good old-fashioned face-to-face customer service, instead of just adding a bunch of stupid (impersonal) kiosks like several other fast-food establishments have recently done. These are just two of the reasons that Chick-fil-A will continue to be a successful business. Several other fast food establishments have just not mastered customer service the way that Chick-fil-A has, in my opinion. Employees like Douglas are one of the main reasons I keep coming back. He was awesome. Finally, I've always enjoyed the food at Chick-fil-A, and this location was no different. Not only is the chicken really delicious, but I'm also happy that Chick-fil-A is willing to let me have a bunch of sauces to go along with my meal without being annoying by charging me extra for them (like McDonald's typically does). I highly recommend this business because they provide excellent food in a pleasant environment while having professional and friendly employees. That's a well-earned five-star rating from my perspective.

The service is consistently courteous and professional. When team members bring the food out to the car, they are respectful, approach the driver's side window cautiously and hand over the order carefully rather than rushing through the interaction. It's a small detail, but it makes a difference. Especially at night when it's uncomfortable to have people approaching your car in the dark. Most of the time we order takeout, but occasionly we go in and dine inside, the restaurant looks clean and organized. Decorations and ambience are nothing special - similar to other locations. The dining area and restrooms look clean, and there is clear signage directing customers to order and pickup areas. Staff members are also very helpful when it comes to guiding customers and answering questions. A detail about the location that we really enjoyed was having the Coffee News newsletter by the door - it was a thoughtful local touch and felt cozy. We usually place drive-up pickup orders, and the parking lot is generally decently organized. Nothing really different from other locations. My only complaint is during rush hours when traffic to get in and out becomes congested. Since the building sits on a corner, turning in from Executive Drive can be frustrating with so many vehicles trying to enter or pass by at once. Honestly, it can be easier to park in the nearby shopping center or next door bank and walk over. Occasionally, other customers park poorly and take up too many spaces, but that's more of a people problem than an issue for the business. Recently, we've been really disappointed by the food. We've heard that some menu items, such as the fries, have had recipe changes, and the difference is definitely noticeable. We typically order nuggets, chicken sandwiches, and fries, but they simply don't taste the same as they did years ago. On a recent trip, I tried the mac and cheese to switch it up because I haven't been enjoying the fries lately, and I couldn't finish it. I offered the rest to my partner to finish. Later, my partner and I felt that it didn't sit well with our stomachs. On the other hand, I still enjoy Chick-fil-A's breakfast menu. The Chicken Minis and chicken biscuit are our go-to for early mornings and road trips. We'll get coffee too but honestly we prefer to just get food here and then stop at a Dunkin or Starbucks because it's better. The only downside to breakfast is having to race over before morning breakfast service ends. It's just disappointing to have to default to having the typical entree when it's not as good as could've been with breakfast. Overall, we'll continue to visit for breakfast and maybe lunch or dinner. But this isn't anything special and definitely not my go-to fast food place.

As I approached this business, I found the outside to be clean and the landscaping was pleasant. After entering, I was immediately faced with a bunch of kiosks for customers to place their orders. I just don't like kiosks. To me, this just shows me a business that is trying to reduce their customer service by not hiring cashiers and making the customer perform the cashier's job with no cost benefit to the customer. After placing my order, I was then questioned with how much I would like to tip. I found this to be even more annoying. What am I tipping for? The quality of the food?...I haven't eaten it yet. The quality of the service?...I haven't received any yet. Tipping BEFORE any experience is ridiculous and presumptuous. To me, tipping is a way for the customer to show that they are satisfied (or highly satisfied) with the experience they have had AFTER they have had it. I ended up ordering the double SmokeShack Burger, which comes with two beef patties, cheese, bacon, cherry peppers, and ShackSauce. The burger was really delicious, but I was surprised by how small it was for being a double. I also ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries, which are crinkle cut French fries topped with cheese sauce and bacon. This was pretty good too, but not as good as I thought it would be. For my drink I was going to get a soda-pop, but then I decided to try their Shack-Made Lemonade. It tasted weird, and I regretted getting it. I was served at my table by a server who delivered my food without saying a word. While eating my meal, I noticed that the inside of the restaurant looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. In fact, I did not see anyone cleaning anything inside during my entire visit. Even more disturbing was the lack of friendliness of the employees. I kid you not, there were about a dozen people working here during my visit and I did not see a single employee crack a smile...not for anyone. While leaving, I decided to order their Chocolate Blackout Pudding Shake. After getting back to my hotel with this for dessert, I only had a few spoonfuls. Again, this tasted weird. I ended up throwing out 90% of it because it just wasn't very tasty. In total, I spent over $33, which is a ridiculously high cost for one fast food meal. In comparison with my favorite fast food restaurant, In-N-Out (primarily in the western U.S.), I can get a similar meal at In-N-Out for about HALF the cost. I don't know about you, but if I pay substantially more I expect a substantially better experience. I hope that the other Shake Shack businesses don't operate like this one; This was NOT a worthwhile experience, especially considering the cost.

The chicken tenders were the highlight of my meal. Hoping for a better experience on our next visit.

Continuing alphabet series representing 2025, R is for Raising Cane's. Sadly but not surprisingly…read morenothing to represent the letter Q. However, the prior P is for Playa Bowl in Baltimore County was in Q is for Quarry Lake, so the location coincidentally started with Q. I believe Raising Cane's in Columbia was the 3rd location in Maryland to open. First was Towson in early 2023 I think, then Gambrills in Sept. 2023 (went on their 2nd day; see my 5-star of them), and then Columbia in early 2024 I think. The first time I visited the Columbia location was in March 2024, where I redeemed a green leprechaun lemonade, but I had already eaten or had other dinner plans. My first visit to get food was in July 2024. This was my girlfriend's first time at Raising Cane's. She loved it as did I per the other times I had in the past including the first time trying them in AZ in mid 2010's. I visited Cane's Columbia a couple of other times in the past two years. Always great chicken strips, fries, & Texas toast. I'm not a big coleslaw person, but I like theirs ok. I normally get half sweet/half unsweet tea, which is delicious freshly brewed. It's often busy, but staff is cordial, and pretty organized and efficient.
