I also am not a vegan and usually don't enjoy vegan foods but their burger was so good. I think it might've even been better than most real hamburgers I've had. I absolutely love this place. I do not eat here all the time but it is a good place to eat junk food for vegans. This particular location is located in Wholefoods. It is set up in a bar like fashion. It is very clean in the store most of the time and it is a pretty comfortable place to eat. The menu isn't terribly big but it is still very good food. I am able to get a good amount of food for a decent price as well. I would encourage anyone to just try it because it is genuinely good food. They are also a part of door dash so you can get it anywhere in the vicinity. read more

As a vegetarian who has struggled to find foods from back in the 90s as a kid, to now having options such as PLNT burgers, it is really a dream come true. I expat lot from the chain and they haven't disappointed me yet. I have tried their mushroom steak burger, double cheeseburger, and the fillet sandwiches. For the steak burger, I found it to be saltier for sure. It need some sweet and acidity to balance the saltiness. But the double cheeseburger was on point. Really juicy plant burger with a cheese that you can't tell isn't made from milk, warm and melting was a pleasant surprise. The flavors had depth and meaning to the burger. I've had plant burgers before but never plant based fillet so I wasn't sure what I was expecting but the taste was not bad for the first time. I was hoping to have the tartar sauce to make a big impact but it was slightly mute. In all, happy that this chain exists but there are opportunities to make increase the flavors for sure. read more

I have mixed feeling about this place. We ordered two burgers (the spicy chicken funguy and the mushroom bbq bacon burger) and a bowl of chili. The chicken burger didn't quite taste like chicken, but it was still tasty. The mushroom bbq bacon burger actually tasted quite good and it was tough to tell it wasn't meat (the patty and the bacon). THe BBQ sauce might have masked things quite well, but either way, it wasn't obvious to me i was eating a vegetarian burger. The chili was really small ... for $7.50, i was expecting a larger portion, but it was a small cup with a huge chunk of sour cream that took up a bit of the space in there. That said, the taste was actually pretty good ... a good balance of smoky and sweet. The food is fairly pricey, but I can understand the higher price due to the ingredients in there. I do wish the burgers were better put together ... ours seemed to be slapped together and not very presentable. Well first of all these new wings on your menu are the bomb!My wife and I were both impressed with the size portions of the 4 pc wings! We used our reward BOGO 50% off! The wings were hot fresh out of the grease, golden brown and delicious, the Garlic Parmesan coated was spot on with it's taste, the plant based wings tasted like the ones you would buy at BUFFALO WILD WINGS ! Even there Cauliflower Wings don't taste as good as these, no lie! I think one of the things that separates your food from other places that serve Plant Based foods, is that you don't cross contaminate the foods, your diner is set for plant based cooking, your Flat Top Grill has never have any real meat like beef cooked on it, your fryers only fry items that are plant based also, like if I goto some other place to eat they fry French Fries, Chicken Tenders, Fish Fillets in the same fryer or they will cook a burger on the same grill where beef has been on! The customer service is always on point, whenever I go to any of the PLNT BURGER locations! Also, you kitchen is always clean and polished! That makes me feel good to know that your employees take pride in the way your open kitchen appears to the public! Please keep the WINGS on the menu, I think this would be an excellent choice added to your men! I had the PLNT cheeseburger meal no pickles, crispy herd fries with maple mustard and strawberry rhubarb drink, when I signed up for the app I got a $5 coupon. Ima try to go in before the of this month to use the promo they currently have. It honestly tastes like the in and out burger or the burger joint, the fries were really good but a little cold when delivered to me. I gotta thank Mike B. for this. If it weren't for his review on my Yelp feed, I wouldn't have known PLNT Burger was at Whole Foods in Columbia. I knew about the Silver Spring location prior to its opening and I mentally had it on my to-try list. But now that there's a location in Columbia, the game has totally changed since I now reside in Howard County and am much closer to the Columbia location. PLNT Burger has replaced the previous food stand that was inside this Whole Foods. I don't recall if it had a name but I did grab breakfast and a smoothie from there before. PLNT burger is set up counter style. You place your order at the register and then they will give you your food over near the counter seating. Currently, due to COVID, they are not allowing indoor seating at this establishment which is understandable as it's in the midst of a busy grocery store. I ended up ordering the PLNTy Meal which consisted of a PLNT burger or cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. I ended up enjoying my food in my car and made sure to park where I would have a nice view of the fountain. Tip: If it's a nice day, bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy your meal outside. This Whole Foods is located off a nice lake with a fountain. Nice views and perfect for people watching. Onto the food...my burger was delicious and I didn't miss the meat at all. Sometimes I found myself in disbelief that it didn't contain meat. The cheese, although vegan, was nice and melty as it should be on any cheeseburger. They topped it off with the greenest piece of lettuce, a slice of tomato, a pickle, and their special sauce. Perfection! The herbed fries remind me of a thick cut potato chip...they were crispy in some spots and soft in others. I loved the flavor of them. And yall! They even give you dipping sauce for your fries. They have 4 different flavors to choose from. I don't remember the exact flavor that I got but it had herbs in it...I think it was lemon herb but don't hold me to that. Nevertheless, it was tasty! I ended up getting the orange cardamom drink which reminded me of orange Hi-C with a little extra flavor. Overall, I loved my experience and I can definitely see myself coming here more often. Wow Chicken FUNGI Sandwich was delicious - it was so good and to boot I had a Kale cesar salad on the side and it was incredible. The dips and sauces were so delicious. I had ordered online and picked up in the store (inside Whole Foods). The employees of PLNT were standing there behind teh counter when I arrived and I know wearing masks makes it difficult but I had to wait for them to finish their conversation before I was asked if I needed something. But the food was amazing, it was well packed. I didn't grab a fork and there wasn't one in my bag, but the kale was big enough and it was easy to eat with my hand (save a plastic fork anyways). I recently visited this location to pick up a fast food vegan meal on the go. I ordered the Plnt Burger, fries, and the vanilla cherry drink. The cashier was polite and helped me narrow down my drink choice. Indecisive people usually appreciate decisive people for that reason alone :-) I was quoted 10 minutes for the food to be ready, so I shopped while I waited. Picking up was easy and relatively quick. When I ate the food, it was simply not good. The only thing good was the drink. The fries were over cooked and were more like potato chips, and the burger didn't taste good either. It was a little on the burnt side. This was my 2nd time visiting this place, but the experience between the first time and this time is a drastic difference! Next time, I'll pass. read more

The staff is friendly and accommodating, the service is quick, and the food is amazing. The sweet potato fries with their maple dipping sauce or the spicy aioli sauce are the highlight of the menu. Crispy, yet soft because of the sweet potato, and very flavorful and filling. I appreciate all of the plant-based, vegan, and gluten-free options they have here. The bloomies were warm but the sweet potato fries were stone cold. I ended up throwing the fries and bloomies away. This is a tale of two orders. The first time I ordered from PLNT Burger I got a Cheeseburger, Fries, Bloomies, and Chocolate chip cookie. The Beyond Meat burger was delicious as was all the side items. No meat, no problem. My second order was an exercise in pain. I got the Spicy Chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun. The gluten free bun was as hard as a hockey puck. So hard you might break a tooth. I had to just throw away the bun. The faux chicken is made out of mushrooms. It basically tasted like rubberized mushrooms. I couldn't even chew it. The sides were all really good. I will definitely order from PLNT Burger again. Just stick to the burgers. read more
