The nail tech assigned to my 7 year old daughter should not be working with kids. She slapped my daughter's hand twice, yanked her arm when she could not stay still long enough and nicked the polish. I had to ask her to please not do that to my daughter's arm and to be kind to a child. Another nail tech heard what was occurring and tried to assist in a kind tone. If you are going to allow services for children, then the staff should be prepared for a young child who may have a hard time staying still for so long. Otherwise, don't offer the service. Unhappy with the treatment and lack of professionalism. read more

****Update: Below you see a "this is your fault" response. I have a texted response from PLT that doesn't state we talked but couldn't hear each other and offering a discount to come back. BECAUSE WE DIDN'T. There were no phone calls or missed calls or bad connection calls. Don't fall for this place, like I did. Great first impression but then you just become just another butt in a seat to pay the bills. My first visit here, 4 months ago, was fan-freaking-tastic. I have been returning every 3 weeks. Since then, the appointments have been rushed and unorganized. The dipped nails were lumpy and the pedicures were inconsistent. The pricing was never consistent either. I kept thinking they would get back to the initial quality. It did not. I decided to try making an appt for my last one with 1 person so it wouldn't be rushed. When I walked in, I was told that they had tried to contact me several times (no missed calls btw) and didn't leave a message saying they needed to move my appt back later because they were busy. I won't go back and I don't recommend them. One star for the first visit. read more

Most nail salons are very calm and quiet places to receive pedicure, manicure, and custom nail services. During today's visit to PLT Nail Salon, I thought I was in a Sports bar or backyard Bar-B-Q. Two techs were seated next to each other and conversed at a VERY LOUD volume allowing the entire shop to hear their personal conversations. Their clients were just as loud and chatty. In the many years of accompanying women to various nail salons (and sometimes enjoying a pedicure myself), this is the first (and, hopefully, last) time that I have experience this type of inappropriate, overly dramatic, and excessively LOUD environment The salon management needs to do a better job at hiring techs, as well as, setting, and enforcing behavioral expectations. We will be going to the Anthony Vincent salon in the future. The atmosphere deserves ONE star. The second star was given because I feel the entire rest of the salon techs and customers also had to suffer through these four rude people's lack of situational awareness and appropriateness of their actions. read more

Ann always does my acrylic full sets and fills, I was in desperate need of acrylic toes (I've never had them before) but Jimmy John did a great job and even after I asked him to fix it for me(my fault I didn't look) he had zero problem and fixed it and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all, and for my pedicure I got the milk and honey pedi and Tracy did an amazing job as well and I felt like a queen! When the tech asked me what color I told him the colors and he brought me a book to select from and i picked the color. Later, I found out that it was gel. There was NO communication about gel. I am not one to spend the extra for the damage to my nails. When checking out, I was explaining to the cashier and all she did was say, "Ill let him know for next time. I told him on MULTIPLE accounts i wasn't happy with the shape/ thickness of my nails, he noticed i kept looking at my nails responded to me "stop looking at your nails they're fine" He was rough during the process and changed the price on me multiple times the first time i asked he said $52 and then went to $57 asked to do Oval and he went up to $72! I've gone to tons of salons and never paid that much for a dip on regular nails with a shape. And as you can see he didn't even do my nails the same length i came with with mid length nails and he completely cut my middle finger EXTREMELY SHORT and i didn't ask for a cut! read more

I had high hopes for this spot, since they're fairly new, and were very helpful and accommodating upon our arrival. They offered us beverages, which was nice considering other nail salons wait for you to ask. I got a shellac mani, while my niece, sister, mother, and sister-in-law all got pedis. My niece's $25 pedi came off of 8 toenails the FOLLOWING day, and not even a week later, my shellac mani chipped off on three of my nails. My mother brought my niece back to get it fixed the next day, and they still came off a day later. My shellac nails shouldn't have chipped so soon, other places I have gone to don't start chipping until week 3, so that was very disappointing. read more

I went to this salon for the first time today as a walk in and was taken right away. I wish I would have gotten the name of my nail tech, but he did absolutely amazing! I showed him a reference photo and he knew exactly what to do. Since I went later in the evening, it was nice and quiet, extremely relaxing. I came here for a acrylic set with a very basic French tip, some black stars, and gems. It was recommended by a friend, I had high hopes because they had a large drink menu and their instagram looked good! was sat fast however then it started to go down hill. The man doing my nails would sit there on his phone checking something in between filing my natural nails down and filling in the acrylic. Additionally a few times he got up to go do something in the back and would leave me sitting there with no explanation. He did not size the tips to my nails before gluing them down, and some were clearly too good for my nail beds. My nails came out looking fine, but I already have some lifting after a week. They do offer a 10 day warranty if anything is wrong but unfortunately I am out of the country. They gave good discounts and I paid a low price for it, however I spent a hour and half there getting a basic acrylic set with just a white French tip with star stickers because the nail artist would be checking his phone or walking around. I do give them the benefit of the doubt that they just opened and are probably getting their groundings, and I would be willing to go back again maybe in a few months when they're more grounded. read more

The staff here is very welcoming. My only concern was the lack of attention to detail when Kathy did my nails. I told her my nail on my index finger was cracked and she said she would take care of it, but did not. A week later my whole nail cracked. I went back to get it fixed. She did a refill on all of my nails which was nice, but the top coat on all of my nails had air bubbles and tiny specs. Overall the place is okay. I don't think I would return. read more
