The restaurant seems to want to be upscale and elevated, but it's simultaneously overrun with strollers, small children, and even a dog roaming around. At a $340 meal, I don't expect a scene that feels more fast-casual than fine dining. Unfortunately the food didn't make up for it. Dishes felt one-note, leaning too hard on acid and heat without much depth. The peaches were underripe and flavorless despite it being peak season, and the endive was undercooked. For a restaurant built around a farm-to-table, seasonal promise, it felt strangely disconnected from the season. Small thing, but $10 valet at this price point should just be complimentary. If you're considering this spot for a celebration or special occasion, I'd look elsewhere. It's not bad, but it doesn't deliver on what it promises to be.

Food was very good, menu changes often so if you want to try something - do it! We tried, ricotta gnudi (pasta), burrata, burger (from bar menu), saffron risotto and butterscotch pretzel sundae. Would absolutely recommend everything - note the saffron with risotto wasn't my husbands favorite but if you like saffron, you'll love it. Dessert here is a MUST. Get the sundae! Valet parking is not free, don't love that but I knew ahead of time that they started to up the price so I wasn't caught off guard. Worth a special occasion!

I have a food blogger friend who did a segment on Gladstone Tavern so I had it on my radar for a while. After visiting an alpaca farm in the area we stopped in for lunch on Saturday around 12. I did make a reservation the day before because I wasn't sure how busy they would be but the reservation was not necessary. We were promptly greeted and sat at an inside table. A nice gentleman brought us waters and then Hunter took care of us. He provided great service. I started with the corn chowder soup. While it was good, it was kind of basic and I had higher expectations for it. I then had the chicken schnitzel which came with a caper sauce, arugula and tomatoes. It was soooo good! If I ordered it again I would ask for some extra of the caper sauce. My mom had a burger that came with fresh cut fries and my dad has the steak and eggs. All of us really enjoyed our meals and the overall experience. We would recommend.

The interior is bright and contemporary with a farmhouse vibe. Plus plenty of perfectly positioned screens to watch your favorite game. The service was on point for the most part. [Blowing on my nails.] The menu is a mix of American comfort food and gastropub classics, but with flair, and has a bit of everything to satisfy different palates. Our eyes were probably bigger than our stomachs as we ordered 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails, and it was an enormous amount of food. The portions are definitely what you'd call hearty, and everything was very tasty. Thursdays are all day happy hour so we picked the fried calamari appetizer at the HH price (still a full and generous plate and didn't seem like a downsized version) which were tender and well-battered, as well as the hot honey wings which were meaty and substantial. The short rib parpadelle with housemade pasta and a perfectly medium-rare, well seasoned hanger steak with truffle fries completed our satisfying and belly-stuffing meal. The cocktails are serious as well - the presence of a drink with egg white is my personal litmus test for a bar that knows what it's doing, so the Thyme to Bloom special had my name on it. I'm salivating just looking at photos of dishes I didn't order, and am already plotting my return!

Once you enter through the store, there is a sign to wait to be seated. The place has a nice and bright rustic vibe to it. I really liked the decor and table setup. Even the napkins had a rustic vibe. Started off with the potato scoop ($16) which was my fave item. The potato was shaped like the Fritos scoop chip, and the cheese dip that came with it had chunks of cheese in a melted cheese sauce. For my main, got the pulled pork sandwich ($16), which came in a pretzel knot bun and creamy slaw. It was solid meal and very filling. Other mains ordered were the roast beef "pho" style sandwich ($16) which I had a bite of and it was good and not what I expected thinking roast beef. Roast turkey ($16) was warm and also tasty. Each of the mains came with a side of potato salad. I will be back to try the sloppy Joe and their dinner meals. I highly recommend this place if you want tasty, high quality meal for a fair price. * Highly recommend making reservations on weekends * Street parking * Good service

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.

I think I might put a call into Chef and have him make me a bottle of that Mussels sauce to take home with me. Then came the crisp Caesar Salad, which kept everything bright. To finish, we had the Black Cod and Duck Confit, both of which were very well balanced and cooked perfectly. Oh, and the Guava-glazed Brussels Sprouts were a perfect side. Next time, I want to try one or two of their desserts. All-in-all, we had a great experience, and the night was a success. Chef, see you soon. I might just bring a large mason jar for some sauce!..
