Our departure flight from DFW airport was delayed and we just wanted to sit and have a glass of wine while waiting. Plum Market was adjacent to our gate, they have a proper bar and had open stools available. Service overall was good, though it did take us a while to be able to cash out once we were ready to leave. Note that, unlike bars at many airports, one cannot get "to go cups" and carry beverages from Plum Market to the gate with you. We were told our drinks would need to be polished off within the confines of this bar/restaurant. read more

I didn't want something heavy or full of dense calories before my flight so I went to Plum Market. Expected high airport prices for water and food. Bought a container of Mexican street corn $8.00 and a container of cooked marinated chicken breast $5.99. Surprisingly very tasty and both well seasoned. Walked past this restaurant at DFW looking for something different and decided to check it out. As I approached, one of the workers asked if I needed help and what I was looking for, but the interaction came off as rude. Despite that, the food looked and smelled good, so I decided to give it a try. When I started building my plate, a different server helped me and was polite, professional, and thorough in explaining the items and making recommendations. I asked for an à la carte piece of the Lemon Rosemary Baked Chicken and was told it was $17 for one piece, which is excessive--even for an airport. Still, because of the server's professionalism, I agreed to add it on the side with my combo plate. At the self-checkout, the same rude worker from earlier stood watching me, and another employee came over as if I didn't know how to use the machine, telling me I needed to scan all the items. I explained that I was, but the chicken was ringing up at a different price than what I was quoted. At that point, the other worker grabbed the chicken, took it back behind the counter, called the chef over, and they all huddled around the computer. Then someone yelled across the store that the chicken was actually $19 for one piece. I told them to keep it. Meanwhile, another customer had a similar issue where an item rang up incorrectly after she had already paid. The worker told her he didn't have his key card to issue a refund and said she should just choose something else. This entire experience was ridiculous and unprofessional. The staff behavior and disorganized pricing will drive customers away. It's unfortunate because the food itself is excellent, but poor management and outrageous pricing--even by airport standards--make this place hard to recommend. read more

I think the options here look phenomenal but I also think it depends on when the food was put out. I got a meal with a main and two sides. For the main I got the cauliflower tacos with fries and Brussel sprouts. At one point the fries were good but by the time I had eaten them they were not warm and a little hard as if they'd been left out for awhile. The Brussel sprouts were also not warm or roasted that well. The tacos though were just put out and that's why I got them. But even then they weren't hot they were just warm. The other options looked good but if the food I had was any indication of anything, it might not be clear or predictable what you'll be getting here. I really like that there are healthy options at this place but I also think that the varying temperatures of the food make it so that the food can be a bit inconsistent. read more

I had a two hour layover in Dallas last week and thanks to food barely being available after 9PM, I didn't have too many places to choose from. I was about to just not eat when my wife stumbled across the Plum Marker and I followed soon after. This place has a hot food bar where someone will make you a plate along with an area with salads and such, I went with the hot food plate. I ordered the chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese, and French fries plate. Should I of ordered those things before getting on a plane? Probably not, but I did and dang, it was all way better than it should have been. The macaroni and cheese had a great taste and good consistency as well, comparable to Mac and cheese you would get from a BBQ joint. The French fries were solid and did the trick, while the chicken fingers were honestly perfect. The chicken strips were crispy, juicy, and tasted great leaving me with a fully belly and a smile. Overall, Plum Market was the best option for a fast meal and a great choice for anyone killing time in the Dallas airport. read more

Honestly, pretty decent food for airport food! I was starving after a long morning flight, and this place was right by my gate so it was perfect. It has a bunch of options - snacks, to-go cold wraps or sandwiches, as well as a station where you can get a hot combo meal. I got the teriyaki salmon, which came with two sides, and it was delicious! Super healthy and filling too. I got some brussel sprouts and potatoes for sides, which were alright too. Service was fast and friendly which was great. Place was clean and there's a little seating area next to it which was pretty much empty when I got there, so I was plenty comfortable to do some work too. read more

On the plus side, the salmon is good and there are two choices of sauces. Also the lady behind the counter was friendly. On the downside, $28 for salmon and two sides is excessive. Wow, I was SHOCKED to find vegan options in an airport! Plum Market saved me!! With current Covid procedures, airlines don't offer meals or snacks for purchase and only offer a tiny bag of pretzels. Needless to say, I was starving and didn't have enough time with a short layover window to wait in the ridiculously long lines in the food court. While desperately searching for food, I happened to stumble upon Plum Market. At first I was just going to settle for a salad, until I saw they had vegan buffalo cauliflower tacos! This is my go to food when traveling for work, because it is one of the healthier options and home style type food. There's also hardly ever a line but it's also pretty pricey. This time around I got the mustard salmon and it was cooked wonderful and not dried out at all. The flavor was great. The bar at Gate B5 rocks, and Mo is a super star! My gate was b7, and this was a secret little bar overlooking the runway close by. I almost don't want to tell you about it, so it doesn't get too crowded. LOL But Mo deserves the shout out for her OUTSTANDING bartending! I hope every time I'm changing in Dallas, I will be in the B area and be able to visit Mo. She knows her drinks. She knows the history of drinks. She chilled my glass before making my martini! I knew what I didn't want to eat, something big, but I didn't know what I wanted. This place had so many great options! It was at the end of the A terminal, but worth the walk. I went with the short rib taco and it was excellent. Also ordered a side of cauliflower au gratin which was perfect. Tasty and not overcooked. You can have a drink at the bar and pay everything together. Staff was courteous and friendly on a Saturday at lunch time. David was so cheerful . Food: I got a combo with the grilled chicken, kale salad, and potato salad. The chicken was flavorful, but a bit tough in texture. At the end of the day, it was still tasty, and definitely was enough protein to keep me full. The kale salad was REALLY good. I thought it was super flavorful, just the right amount of dressing. And the kale was super fresh. As for the potato salad, I was happy to see that it was made with red potatoes. It was seasoned well and dressed with the right amount, so it wasn't overly soggy or overly dry like many other places are. Topped everything off with a Heineken 0 at the bar. Service: The staff was helpful, and I appreciated that they gave their honest opinion about the food. The woman who was bartending was incredibly hospitable, and she was a joy to interact with. Ambiance: This was the perfect place for me to post up and get some work done. I sat at the bar counter, and there are ample outlets so that you can charge all of your devices. The bar seats about 10 people, but thank goodness there wasn't a bunch of people crowding up at the bar. I felt very relaxed the whole time. I got to binge some HBO Max, and I also was able to get some writing done. Bonus: The bathroom is literally by Plum Market. The men's room, however, only has stalls and no urinals, so it can be a bit of a wait! Definitely gonna be my go-to spot for when I got to DFW. Soo excited! New addition to Terminal B located right next to the Admiral's Club at B3/B4. Great food (I got the Rosemary Chicken and red potato salad). They packaged and had it ready to go in a flash. The bar is shockingly good. Great beer glasses (see photo) and high quality tequila (1942). Their lunch special is an entree with a hot side and a cold side. I had the ancho pork tacos (it looks like they have about three rotating entree options on any given day) with roasted potatoes with kale (3-4 hot side options) and a kale coleslaw (3 salad options.) (One of the other cold sides was a potato salad. Special on kale and potatoes at the store today?) My husband and I got breakfast here before a flight. You are able to see the food on the line with the ingredients listed. Eggs, bacon and potatoes were gluten free. I was able to substitute my biscuit for fruit. Food was good. Only issue is there is dairy (milk) in the eggs. If you're dairy free make sure to read ingredients/labels. read more

This place was worth it. I'm not sure if there is more than one location but I'm referring to the one located by gate B5. Food was tasty. I had the salmon with roasted cauliflower and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese of the food was ok. Not terrible but not my favorite. The salmon and the cauliflower though were great! The star though was the bar. The female bartender with the sparkly face mask was amazing. Seriously she was the best! She also had a signature drink which was tasty. Off the menu I had the Aviator which was a very unique drink and she made it very well. I always enjoy trying something new. The bartender did not disappoint! If there is more food outlet at Terminal gate 17, I'll definitely pass this up. The lines at other 2 other outlets were long and there was no line at Plum Market. (And you wonder why). Their Employees are efficient and friendly. But the food need improvement. We had the breakfast cheese bacon egg burrito and chorizo &eggs burrito. The taste is so blend and dry. The bacon could be crispier to make it tastier but not. No salsa to go with it to enhance the taste. Sad. For $11+ per burrito, you can do a bit more to make it tastier. read more
