The updated version she gave us looks exactly like this, she still scratched out pancake, and added the word "or".

Weird experience with more than one team member. We ordered the pick 3.... menu states "buttermilk waffle/sausage or bacon/eggs or Serrano grits". We both state, "pick 3...bacon, eggs" assuming the waffle is apart of the three and considering there is/was not another option. After about 15mins we received bacon and eggs, no waffle, because we didn't order it. What? Then was told we'd have to wait another 15/20 mins for a waffle bc it would go behind everyone else's order. What? If you value your time, and common sense is your thing, save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

If your ever at DFW and are looking for a place to eat, you need to try this place. Service was excellent, food was good and prices were reasonable. We ordered and shared the following: pulled pork hash skillet and an order of pretzel sticks. Both were very flavorful and enough for the both of us.

    Magnolia chicken biscuit

Delicious magnolia chicken biscuit and vanilla latte. Would definitely recommend for the food.

    Hamburger lettuce wedge

Good place to grab a well prepared meal before a long flight! The menu had a variety of options. The location was close to the middle of the terminsl with a substantial "patio" and some more tables out of full view. The service was quick, but not overly welcoming or friendly. The food was good. My lettuce wedge was at handful of butter leaf lettuce. I added a hamburger patty . Over all, a good choice but is expensive like all airport food tends to be.

Bacon Mac &Three Cheese with pulled pork

A bite before catching our flight out of DFW Terminal D. They were not busy at all, especially for a Saturday in the summer. Our service was good. I ordered the Bacon Mac & Three Cheese with pulled pork; it looked better than it was. The pork was dry and too salty. If it had been moist I'm sure the rub would have given it better flavor. The Mac was cheesy but that, too, was dry. It didn't take an exceptionally long time to get our order but it took long enough the you would expect it to be fresh and dry does not taste fresh. My bf had the wedge salad with a beef patty. I didn't try it but it did look good and fresh. Like I said, they were long busy but the bar area has screens with games playing and the dining area resembles an outdoor patio, so great for people watching (which is always fun at the airport) and a good ambience.

Prices lower than Irving Urban Center area.

I found the prices here reasonable because I had just spend a few days in the Los Colinas area of Irving where restaurants have outrageous pricing. So, that should be a shocking statement, I found the prices at this airport restaurant to be reasonable. Here's some more shocking news, the service was okay, the food was okay (breakfast), the Texas toast was really good (that shouldn't be surprising but again, I'm talking about some airport food). All in all, one of my better American airport experiences.

Food: the hot turkey sandwich was okay. A little too much bread for me personally. I liked the coated fries better. Service: very quick but I know I requested sweet potato fries and not regular. Sorry forgot to take pic at meal beginning.

Generic cauliflower from a freezer bag and somewhat filled deviled eggs.

Brewed on Magnolia St in FW was a go-to when I lived there. Of course, one does not expect food at the airport to be on-par with the original restaurant. One will observe that a 13.00 plate of frozen bag breaded cauliflower bites is not a freshly tempura battered item as advertised and the other offerings are a bit of a miss from the same at the restaurant.

    Crackle berry cider
    Jessie C.

Best value for what you can get at DFW with the quick service with clean bar seating, but the food was slightly a miss. I got 3 rounds of cider ($12 each) and a grilled cheese w tomato soup ($14). The ciders were great and light. The tomato soup made me sick so I'm assuming it was old/reheated, but the grilled cheese was huge and worth it. Solid option in terminal D for a draft beer/cider.

Great bartender! The food and beverages were very good, but what truly made the difference was the incredible staff. I had the chance to get to know Chrissy, my server, and Jason, the manager. Four hours is a long time to sit in one place, especially in a busy airport like DFW, yet the team was consistently attentive despite the hectic environment. They checked in regularly and shared just enough of their own stories to make the time enjoyable. Never too much, always just right. I left feeling like I had received five-star service and made a couple of new friends. If you have the chance, stop in. You won't be disappointed.

DFW is massive. My friend was 30 mins late, but I wasn't trippin. I used that time to charge my phone and get a little work done. We didn't have a resy, but were seated right away. First of all, this place is massive. We both started with the espresso martini before realizing they had a happy hour menu. Our second drink was from the hh menu even though we had no business having a second cocktail. To start, we shared the fried green tomatoes. For whatever reason, we both ended up getting the western burger. Food was great. There was so much of it that I was only able to finish half and ended up taking the rest home. Great service as well. The place was crowded by the time we left. We only planned to stay for 45 minutes, but ended up staying for nearly 2 hours. Big thanks to the bartender. I went back to the airport a little tipsy after 2 drinks.

Clearly a popular spot. We shared an appetizer, a steak, sides, and a dessert between us 3. - Fried Tomatoes (appetizer): not bad! Light, not greasy at all, and that savory sauce on top was yummy: - Wagyu Tomahawk: the star of the show. Loved the peppered crust which was full of flavor. Not a true "Japanese wagyu" texture, but still an excellent steak overall. - Sides (mashed potatoes, fries, broccolini, cornbread): All pretty good across the board. I liked the cornbread the most and wished there was more of it. Usually a side of cornbread is much more substantial and comes with honey butter. - Steak sauce: we ask for a side of this. Whatever they had was unique and great. Fruity and tangy, a great complement to the tomahawk. - Pecan Pie: look at the photo! A huge, tall slice. No notes. Loved the dense ice cream on top. Perfect way to end the meal. Overall: no critiques, just an all-around great dinner. Definitely recommend the tomahawk and pie.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Tupelo Honey is a stand-alone restaurant conveniently located near Hwy 114 and 161. There's plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and a mixture of tables, booths, and bar seating. Speaking of the bar, it acts as a beautiful backdrop for the entire restaurant. 1 Star. Service - The service is always friendly. Our server is always smiling, and I can't help but feel welcome with southern charm. Tupelo Honey trains its staff well, and I really enjoy coming here and interacting with the staff. 1 Star. Food - I always begin with the Biscuits with a Cause. These light, flakey biscuits are served warm with a crispy exterior and soft, flakey inside. But honestly, the biscuits act as a delivery mechanism for the butter and blue berry jam. I always ask for an extra side of butter and jam because I use it all. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Honey Dusted Fried Chicken (dark). The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy, and sweet. And the dark meat was juicy. Pro Tips - use your hands. Another great dish was experienced. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I have yet to have a below average dish at Tupelo Honey. Yes, it's a chain. But it's also a darn good chain that keeps its menu fresh and is worth multiple visits. 1 Star.
