I ordered the drink "Pre-Check" and it was soooooo good! I also had the chicken taquitos which were amazing, very fresh. I ordered salsa, guacamole and queso on the side. (That was an additional charge) but other than that I was extremely pleased. I thought it was cool that you can order your food and drink via QR Code. If you are looking for a really fresh, healthy meal at DFW, 2.0 Taco & Tequila (Terminal E) is the place to go. Gabriella's Chop Chicken Salad is a beautiful combination of fresh spring greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, avocados, and perfectly spiced diced chicken breast - lots of chicken. At $19 this a great value. We also enjoyed their lo-cal chicken burrito bowl. Again, very fresh and savory. read more

For an airport restaurant, 2.0 Taco & Tequila Bar does a decent enough job at Tex-Mex and honestly, there are not a lot of options for a sit down restaurant. The tvs were playing the Olympics and the sound level was just right for a conversation. This was better than the airport lounge where you get free booze and food. read more

Stopped in for breakfast and had a very nice server who let me know they don't serve alcohol until 10am on Sundays before I ordered. They have a small breakfast menu but the burrito with chorizo was delicious. When ordering they asked if I wanted pico, fresh or pickled jalapeños, and avocado. Assuming it was all included I said yes but when the bill came the avocado was an upcharge. Not a huge deal but wish these places would not ask questions like this as if it is just part of the meal when it's an upcharge. read more

The hostess wasn't happy and welcoming, but last time I didn't let that deter me and I am glad. They have plug ins at the booths and tables by the kitchen which I really needed. The waiters and waitresses were great! Great them with positivity and they really appreciate it. I bartended for years and the difference in a smile is so mandatory. I have a corporate card, so I separated out one drink and the ultimate fajitas. This is the s cons time doing this and the food has always been great. I have to eat all the shrimp first because that is just me. The steak was tender and I don't really care for steak but these I do. They are really good and moist, tender, and bite by bite in the fajita the taste is wonderful. If you get Alfredo or Sherry tell them I say hello! They will soil you and assist you in every way. The only downfall is that the chips are extra charge, but for me that is not an issue since I rarely eat more than half. The Texas cucumber and jalapeño margarita is the bomb. Therefore, if you order one margarita of any kind I think you'll be satisfied. I think this place is really underrated and please try it if you get a chance. Stopped here for lunch in Terminal E. Seemed to be the best option. It wasn't bad, maybe a little plain, and not a huge menu to choose from. Tried the taquitos and rice. Taquitos were fine, could have used a little more filling. Server was quick, definitely knew how to cater to people catching flights. AIRPORT NACHO REVIEW: I like to eat airport nachos and this plate was great. Right off the bat- FAST service, these puppies came out like 5 minutes after I ordered them. I got them with steak instead of the standard ground beef which was a good choice. Ingredients-wise, everyone came to play. My 2 most common complaints with these airport nachos in general are gross guac and tasteless tomatoes but these pass the test on those ingredients for sure. Speaking of ingredients- there was more than enough to go around! I was easily able to get a tasty morsel on every chip. The only downside was the shredded cheese was 1) Bagged, not freshly grated (which, I understand, is a very tough box to check for airport food) and 2) Not melted, so the nacho cheese sauce had to do a lot of heavy lifting. read more

Stopped in for tacos while in DFW and was surprised by how good they were! I had grilled. Chicken tacos in corn tortillas. The corn tortillas were soft and tasted great and were filled with grilled chicken that must have been char-grilled because it was really great. There was a lot of chicken in the tacos too. The rice and beans were just ok, but I'm fine with that because I'm here for the tacos. I will say I tasted the salsa that came with the meal and it was very bland so I wouldn't recommend the chips and salsa unless you want to squeeze some limes to it and add some salt. The manager did not seem friendly at all, although she never talked to me. I watched her talking to others several times. Her smile seemed forced and fake and disappeared the very moment she turned. Whenever I pass through Dallas Fort Worth airport, I have to stop by 2.0 taco & tequila bar. I always go with the queso and chips as an appetizer. My main dish is the ground beef tacos. They are really delicious. Now we all know fickle airport food can be, but this is a nice spot to grab some food, drinks and watch some sports. For a random airport spot, this was really pleasant! I told the waitress I had 25 minutes before boarding and she came back with my chips and drinks in less than 5 minutes. I was delighted by the portions of the dips. They were generous, for the first time I ran out of chips before dip! Also, the dips were pretty yummy. I like the queso the best, guac second, then salsa. Queso was creamy and had nice texture with the veggies. It also had a deep cheese flavor. The guac needed a little more cilantro but plenty of avocados stuffed in it. Salsa was a little watery but it had a balanced taste of spices. I think on top of a taco or something it would be perfect, but just with chips bland. I really liked my tequila and pomegranate drink. It was strong and not too sweet. To my surprise, the food and drinks here were good as my layover at DFW was just over an hour. As a single traveler this time, I was able to grab a spot at the bar with ease and served up a margarita to my liking. Went with the "Texas Size Burrito" with Steak and it came out quicker than expected. It was definitely just made & hot so no real complaints. Tex-Mex in an airport with hot food, I can't complain a lot... If anything, it would of been nice to have some chips served with it instead of it being another item to buy separately. It's just a regular cookie that's slightly warmed up (not baked in the skillet like I hoped) and then placed in a skillet serving dish. Ice cream was fine--just tasted like good vanilla ice cream, nothing remarkable. Drizzle was a hard pass because it was way too sweet like the fake high fructose for syrup ice cream drizzle kind.
