    Tortilla soup

Ordered a Margarita and bowl of Tortilla Soup prior to boarding my flight. Really quick and delicious!! I liked the presentation and having the chips and cheese separate. Try it if you're in Terminal E.

I love this place at DFW! I was waiting for family to get in on their flight and I decided to sit at the bar. Tanner was an amazing bartender! Very friendly and attentive. I ordered the drink "Pre-Check" and it was soooooo good! I also had the chicken taquitos which were amazing, very fresh. I ordered salsa, guacamole and queso on the side. (That was an additional charge) but other than that I was extremely pleased. I thought it was cool that you can order your food and drink via QR Code. Very clean and bright atmosphere with sports on the screen. I will make sure that I stop by whenever I'm at DFW terminal E .

Gabriella's chop chicken salad - super fresh & tasty

If you are looking for a really fresh, healthy meal at DFW, 2.0 Taco & Tequila (Terminal E) is the place to go. Gabriella's Chop Chicken Salad is a beautiful combination of fresh spring greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, avocados, and perfectly spiced diced chicken breast - lots of chicken. At $19 this a great value. We also enjoyed their lo-cal chicken burrito bowl. Again, very fresh and savory.

For an airport restaurant, 2.0 Taco & Tequila Bar does a decent enough job at Tex-Mex and honestly, there are not a lot of options for a sit down restaurant. Our server was friendly enough and the food was decent enough. We were here on a layover and so we basically were stuck. This was a decent enough stop for a lunch.

Excellent service at the bar!!!!! The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly...so tender and flavorful. Martini came in a wine glass, which was odd but good. They had fantastic ranch dressing. It was a perfect spot to chill while waiting on a delayed flight!!

Quick service, good beer selection, nice airport bar! We didn't try the food but it looked good from what we saw around us.

    Breakfast burrito w/chorizo
    Jeremy M.

Stopped in for breakfast and had a very nice server who let me know they don't serve alcohol until 10am on Sundays before I ordered. They have a small breakfast menu but the burrito with chorizo was delicious. When ordering they asked if I wanted pico, fresh or pickled jalapeños, and avocado. Assuming it was all included I said yes but when the bill came the avocado was an upcharge. Not a huge deal but wish these places would not ask questions like this as if it is just part of the meal when it's an upcharge.

    The ultimate fajitas

The hostess wasn't happy and welcoming, but last time I didn't let that deter me and I am glad. They have plug ins at the booths and tables by the kitchen which I really needed. The waiters and waitresses were great! Great them with positivity and they really appreciate it. I bartended for years and the difference in a smile is so mandatory. I have a corporate card, so I separated out one drink and the ultimate fajitas. This is the s cons time doing this and the food has always been great. I have to eat all the shrimp first because that is just me. The steak was tender and I don't really care for steak but these I do. They are really good and moist, tender, and bite by bite in the fajita the taste is wonderful. If you get Alfredo or Sherry tell them I say hello! They will soil you and assist you in every way. The only downfall is that the chips are extra charge, but for me that is not an issue since I rarely eat more than half. The Texas cucumber and jalapeño margarita is the bomb. Therefore, if you order one margarita of any kind I think you'll be satisfied. I think this place is really underrated and please try it if you get a chance. It at SKYLINK exit E30-31 You will not be disappointed!!!!! Casual atmosphere - it is an airport after all :)

    Nachos 2.0

AIRPORT NACHO REVIEW: I like to eat airport nachos and this plate was great. Right off the bat- FAST service, these puppies came out like 5 minutes after I ordered them. I got them with steak instead of the standard ground beef which was a good choice. Ingredients-wise, everyone came to play. My 2 most common complaints with these airport nachos in general are gross guac and tasteless tomatoes but these pass the test on those ingredients for sure. Speaking of ingredients- there was more than enough to go around! I was easily able to get a tasty morsel on every chip. The only downside was the shredded cheese was 1) Bagged, not freshly grated (which, I understand, is a very tough box to check for airport food) and 2) Not melted, so the nacho cheese sauce had to do a lot of heavy lifting.

It does exist! Fresh and delicious veggie options at the airport - with friendly service to boot. Prices a little high.

I arrived during the lunch rush, and both the parking lot and the restaurant were packed. Even though they were extremely busy, we were immediately greeted by a courteous and polite young man who quickly escorted us to a booth. We were seated in Ms. Maria's section, and she was a wonderful server. She greeted us with a warm smile, brought us menus along with the lunch menu, chips and salsa, and promptly served our water. She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and was friendly, attentive, and very courteous throughout our meal. The chips and salsa were very good. My only suggestion would be to offer a salsa without cilantro for those who prefer it. We ordered the Create Your Own Combo Plate, which included a chicken flauta, a crispy taco, rice, and refried beans topped with cheese for $15.50. The taco was perfectly crispy and well seasoned, while the chicken flauta was covered in a flavorful red chile sauce that had just the right amount of heat. The rice and refried beans were seasoned perfectly and complemented the meal well. We also ordered the chimichanga, smothered in cheese sauce and served with rice and refried beans, for $16.00. It was well seasoned, delicious, and satisfying. The flavors weren't overpowering--they were balanced and enjoyable, making it a dish I would gladly order again. This was my first visit to Mi Dia From Scratch, and I came away very impressed. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the restaurant also offers a nice outdoor seating area. Between the excellent service and flavorful food, I will definitely be back. I hope you'll give it a try too!

I grew up eating school lunch in a state ranked 47th in the U.S. for food quality and taste, and after eating here, I genuinely miss my school lunches. I would rather eat cafeteria food any day. This was literally the worst food experience I have ever had. I can almost guarantee the reviews are fake. Salsa: Literally packaged tomato paste. If you are going to serve packaged salsa, at least use store-bought instead of warmed-up tomato sauce. Chicken Enchiladas Verdes: Rated one of their most popular items, and it was disgusting. If that chicken were any drier, you could weave it into polyester. It was overcooked, packaged meat. Brisket Quesadillas: Absolutely revolting. I have no other comment to make, as I am currently trying not to throw up. As someone who has lived as an expat in 47 different countries and is an elite food reviewer officially recognized by multiple platforms, let me do you a favor and tell you to please avoid this place if you actually want to eat. Mesa's is just a few minutes drive from Gaylord so it is super convenient. The ambience is pleasant and open and in general it was fine. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seats and parking outside. I did not get a "homey" feel but that may be just me. Our server was attentive and efficient. No problems or complaints. The free chips and salsa were good but not outstanding. The salsa was warm and obviously homemade, but it lacked kick. It was tasty but not "OMG this is good." I started with a cup of Roberto's queso which is the standard queso cheese with some ground beef, pico, and a tablespoon of guacamole. It too was good but not outstanding. I am not sure what it was missing but there was something that was needed. I had the two beef tacos and they were just average. Not much flavor or anything distinctive. The ground beef was not well seasoned so they were kind of bland. The rice and black beans were also kind of bland. Frankly, my tacos at home are better. The wife had the taco salad and liked it, although it did not come with any dressing. She used the salsa. Not sure if that was an oversight or that is the way the salad is served. She was also happy that they serve Negro Modelo on tap, so she was happy. The kid had nachos with black beans and cheese and did not complain. Overall, the meal was fine, nothing was terrible, but nothing really stood out as a compelling reason to return.
